This arena is the home of the Everett Silvertips and hosts various concerts, events, trade shows,etc. The main floor converts into an ice rink. There's also a conference center complete with meeting rooms and large ballroom. Arena seating comfort is and the forward facing angle allows for a clear view of the main floor or stage. There are some concession stands serving hotdogs, popcorn, nachos, pizza, and drinks. They even have beer and cider. Pricing is on the higher end, which is expected. The arena is located in downtown Everett. Parking is available via Snohomish County Parking Garage, Republic Parking, Everpark Parking Garage, or street level.

They even let kids stay after the game to run the bases afterwards. They definitely have fans at the heart of everything they do. The stadium itself is beautiful with sweeping views of downtown Seattle from multiple areas and Elliott Bay from the top deck. There are tons of retail spaces and a multiple of food options. Some are familiar brands - Salt and straw, Moto pizza and Ivars as examples - and others are more generic. Many of the seats are under cover in case of inclement weather but others are not (the outfield looked almost entirely exposed). The scoreboards are large and easy to read. The music between plays and innings was lively! And the fans were happy and loyal. People were considerate of one another and everyone seemed to be having a good time. I can't wait to go back for another game! Highly recommended for an amazing urban sports experience in a wonderful city. Go Mariners!

You had to buy tickets through a special link in order to get a hat representing your house and mascot on it. I was happy to see that parking was free!! I am not used to that perk. Coming in the gate was very simple. I added the tickets to my apple wallet for easy access and scanning. Everyone seemed to be outside by the concourse either in line for food or hanging out in a family style grass area with activities for kids. I don't like that if you want a burger and fries, you have to stand in two lines. The burgers come with plain lays chips and same for the hotdogs but separate lines. The fries are a different line and they also had chicken tenders. We stayed in one line and both got double cheeseburgers. The frog shop is a good size and had plenty of items go choose from. I browsed but didn't buy anything. My husband went back and got a zip up sweatshirt since it got cold after the sun wasn't hitting us. I apparently purchased General Admission and that consists of metal bleachers. They also get cold. We chose the 3rd base side which was cool because that is where the home team did their warm up. Once the game started, I felt it was a little difficult to pay attention. The seats had a good view but I would prefer closer to home plate and being a part of the action. I was excited to have a nice mountain view too but they were hiding a bit. We will definitely go back and try different areas to see what we like best!

I saw a sign at the Symetra Club entrance showing Sections 01 and 02, and since I was hobbling along in a walking boot, I didn't want to wander all over just to find the seats. The lady at the Symetra Club entrance was very nice and explained everything to us. She was slow and methodical, recognizing my handicap, and even helped point out where the restrooms were during the first intermission. Her kindness had a lasting impact on my experience. Lastly, it was my friend's very first Kraken game, so her helpfulness made a great first impression for my buddy too.

NA drinks were included with the ticket. Alcohol drink not included. About the $17 for a beer. There were snacks. Mostly vegetarian, one vegan option- a watermelon sushi. The seating area was easy to navigate and we felt safe with our stuff in the stands with our teammates. For the track, the surface was smooth and comfortable to run on (my race was the 800 metres run). I had no complaints from my experience, though I have been known to confuse the venue with the track and field at Lake Stevens High School.

Before delving into all that, though, I will summarize some of its best features: * Free parking (in the east lot only, however) * Wonderful security, concession, and event staff (minus one manager in particular) * Spacious venue, with great sight lines, even from the floor Now, on to the problem: Myself, my wife, and another 20-or-so attendees had VIP Meet & Greet tickets to meet one of the bands in the lineup for our event, to which we were invited into the venue early to hang out with them, take pictures, etc. Although our band was not the headliner, we were told by event staff that, once our session was done, we'd have to head back outside. However, we were explicitly told to line up behind the VIP line for the headliner, and once their session was one, we'd ALL be allowed entry into the venue early, partially to avoid the 90+ degree heat and direct sunlight hitting the glass and reflective mirrors on the sunny-side of the building, where our lines were told to assemble. We confirmed this multiple times with the gentleman, who was friendly, warm, helpful and welcoming. Once we were back outside, things took a turn south, as the Events Manager, the aforementioned smug, rude, condescending and callous mentioned above, decided otherwise, and subjected nearly two dozen people to several hours of sun exposure, simply due to her being on some sort of power trip. Multiple people in our group would end up suffering from heat-related health issues, including two diabetics. Thankfully, some of the caring concession staff inside, noticing our plight, offered some free cold beverages to help alleviate their suffering. Despite being informed of what the previous gentleman had said, as well as the condition of the people suffering in the heat, the Events Manager continued to be smug and dismissive, her response always distilling down to basically "because I said so". Her final excuse was that our tickets simply could not be scanned for entry prior to a certain time, which is true to a point. However, as one of the people in our group worked for Ticketmaster, and informed her, and everyone present, that this is adjustable by the venue AND Ticketmaster, she ran out of excuses. Once we were finally inside, things were great, once people had recovered from the heat. However, this Events Manager put people's live in danger for no reason other than exerting her power, and that is in excusable. A complaint is being filed with the BBB by multiple people in our group, as well as formal complains with the venue's ownership and upper management. At the VERY least, in the future, ShoWare Center needs to inform their management that extended queues for summer events MUST be moved to the shaded side of the building, and when people start to suffer legitimate risks to their health, then it's time to take action...or be the subject of legal action taken against them.

So that's probably hard to do for any stadiums anywhere. What's remarkable is the food and the liveliness it has during event days. Inside the stadium, of course, but even the outside and heck, the entire mile of a walk to the stadium itself is just energized with people hanging out and grabbing food. It cannot be understated how well the environment is out here. Of course, the stadium itself is a state of the art facility and probably one of the loudest acoustically. I think I heard it was specifically engineered for that? Don't quote me on that but it really does get loud out there, and I love it. Biased as I am, having lived here my entire life, this place is arguably the best setting in the world in my heart.

Scale, energy, and that classic Pacific Northwest night under the arches. When the crowd is locked in and the songs are big enough to fill the place, it really shines. That said, the acoustics aren't great for quieter or more nuanced moments (stadium echo is real here), and getting in and out can be a pain, especially by transit. The light-rail mess after this show didn't help. If you care more about atmosphere and hits than perfect sound, you'll leave happy. If you're sensitive to echo or prefer intimate acoustics, maybe stick to smaller venues. Sheeran keeps coming back for a reason though--this place works for his style of stadium intimacy, even if it's not a sonic paradise.
