I have been here three times. It's very clean. Kind and fast service and good food. The salsa bar very fresh and cool temperature so your salsa. No question is going to be healthy. They have green, red and spicy red salsa. Fresh limes, lemons, pico, cucumber, hot carrots, and more on the salsa bar. So far, I've had the beef enchiladas, the cheese, enchiladas, the red sauce and the green enchilada sauce. All are very fresh and delicious beans and rice are good. I had one empanada strawberry very fresh. Great iced tea! The only thing I was a little disappointed in is a prickly pear. Margarita it was very syrupy. My mom went with me one day and she ordered crispy tacos, but they used a preformed shell. She wasn't too impressed. This is one of the few places that has plenty of those Mexican soups if you love them from chicken to fish to Menudo and pazole. All are delicious! They have a giant homemade tortillas to serve with them!! Also homemade tamales for those of you that want to take some home!! One of my favorite things was Machaca eggs for breakfast and chorizo and eggs. No grease very generous portions. Highly recommend if you're in the mood for a breakfast.!! Everything else really good. I was in the area this evening and had been wanting to try this place out. My order was taken quickly. The menu has a lot of options. I chose the fish taco combo with a large horchata. I was excited to see the wide variety of drinks and desserts, as well as meals. They also offer take home cocktails and gallons of many of their drinks. So.....my fish tacos weren't so good. The fish was crispy instead of flaky. There was no flavor, extremely bland. The rice and beans were mediocre. Prices are reasonable. But, I'm not sure I'd go back. read more

I usually order from here ever now and again and I use Doordash honestly how hard is it to follow a simple order of pazole almost every time I've ordered it I never get any of the condiments no onions no cilantro and no limes..even when I've requested it ...its like the people working there are not even looking at my order probably just going to stick to tacos and more pazole really is not all that great read more

I literally dream of Lulu's. I grew up in the Mesa/Gilbert area and have fond memories of frequenting this establishment. I've since moved out of state but every time I go home this is one of the first stops I make. On my recent trip I got to try (3 times in 2 weeks with no shame) the quesabirria and the corchata, and they were of course both phenomenal. I wish they would make t shirts again! I am a proud owner of a Lulu's t shirt from about 20 years ago that's I've passed to my son since it no longer fits me. Listennnn you can never go wrong getting carne Asada fries . Super tasty! There is an option to get them spicier, but I decided to go more subtle with the heat. I came in right after a big party ordered so it did take a little long to get my food, but the wait wasn't too bad. Let me say it was delicious and reminded me of home. I have not found a place that can even compare to burritos in New Mexico but this is one of them! I'm almost lost for words. We came by here this morning and I'm disappointed. We purchased 2 tacos, 1 taco meal, 1 torta meal, 3 drinks, 1 Mexican soda, and an albodiga soup... our totally was almost $100!!! WTH!! $100?? For 1 tacos it was $5.00+. The portion size was small ( not $100 worth of food) they gave maybe a half scoop of beans, the chicken wasn't very tasteful, the meatballs, and meat didnt taste fresh. My children said their chicken tasted cheap, and the cheese on too tasted sour! , the soup was so small not much flavor. For $100 you would think the the portion and the flavor would be on point. The math didn't add up, and she didn't tell us the total she just ran our card! As I read the other reviews its VERY OVERPRICED and Seems like they doing something on the sly. read more
