I walked around the entire store and found some jeans I was going to try on but no one approached me at all to help. I decided to skip trying on anything there and exited as soon as I could. I was frustrated that no one said anything to me as they greeted some others as they walked in. I was dressed appropriately and normally I end up buying something when I go in Evereve. My home store is either Sioux Falls, SD or Naples, FL. Both of them are super, the people that work there greet everyone when they walk in and are extremely helpful picking out items that I wouldn't even think to try on. I generally end up buying what they pick out. This is the second time this has happened to me at the Jordan Creek Mall store. Not too excited to go back to that store.

She was riding in Stage 3 or a 6 stage all week ride and she had a major de-railer on her bike break. She has a bike from REI she purchased years ago and loves it but she was able to get a hold of the REI in Des moines and they said bring it in. So I drove here 1 1/2 hours from the road ride she was in and Ben and Sam at the store rocked it!!!! They fixed her bike and got her back up going in an hour and she is now back on the road in Stage 4 today. We cannot thank you enough, REI and especially two heroes Ben and Sam. I suspect a visitor unfamiliar with the product would give it four or even five stars. It's clean and beautifully merchandized. The customer service is just fine. Once i got to the register she had a rude and discriminatory attitude towards us. She did not ask me if i would like to sign up for their credit card to save money or did not care to help me apply the coupon i had found that i wanted to use. When it came time to pay i was transferring funds to use my card and she says " you can insert your card now the store is closed" to which i said yes its been 7 mins the store has been closed and i am purchasing $400 worth of merchandise from you. She continued her rudeness and basically just wanted us out. My wife had our daughter in our stroller and she did not even help open the door. Overall extremely rude and discriminatory attitude. Horrible experience.
