My cousin and I came into the store to do a bulk return. Turns out it was the manager that was helping us. My cousin gave her email and phone number tied to the account. When the manager looked at our bulk return she said she couldn't take our returns due to it being Black Friday weekend. That this was the store policy and she could only take 1-2 items to return. My cousin then said where is this policy written and she couldn't provide that information. Then my cousin said so you aren't taking my bulk return, what's your name and she wouldn't provide it. She then kept repeating herself that it was the store policy and then my cousin said ok then please take these 2 jackets to return. She said where is your paper receipt? All the receipts are online through the app and she wouldn't check it. She then proceeded to call the police to have us escorted out of the store and said her name was "Chrissy the manager". My cousin and I are both Mexican and disabled. This isn't okay and people can't be treated this way. We called corporate and they said we are allowed to do bulk returns and that policy doesn't exist. I had a terrible interaction with the store lead "Cristy or Chrissy" (older blonde lady in her late 50's) this store always has positive, lively employee's which is why I always visit but she was extremely rude to me. I came in asking about a policy and she was stuck up, rude, and dismissive. Not only that, she was rude to her employee's. This lady was on a power trip and it showed. STEREOTYPING/RACISM goes on at this store. BEWARE! Hello, today I was at this store location (Stoneridge mall). I tried on two items, and when I come out I hand the items to one of the employees. I felt something was off so I watched the employee huddle up with two of her other employees (one male and one female). Shortly after, a customer asked me for help on picking out a jacket for her son (her son is the same size as me). AS I AM HELPING HER, I look to my left and see all three of the employees staring at me. 30 seconds later their security guard decides to walk in my space as if he's letting me know "that we are watching you". So I let all of that go, and then as I continue to look at items on the OPPOSITE SIDE of the store from where their team huddle is, one of the three employees (the male) decided to come and act like he's "restocking" the shirts in the same area I was in. This is the WORST experience I have ever experienced shopping. I have never felt stereotyped like the way I did here. Keep in MIND, I am a collegiate student athlete wearing my college attire along with my school backpack THAT HAS MY NAME ON IT. Although I have come here to shop in the past which is a great store, this review is primarily a service review for Tiffany. I called over a busy period which was during Christmas. My daughter did the trade-in option program for her used Lululemon clothes at the Walnut Creek location and the credit did not appear the same day, nor even a few days and even after emailing that store and the manager (Chris & Jason). Sarah replied and said to email and resolve this with the Like New Team directly because the GEC does not handle any Like New transactions - again just being given the run around. It shouldn't be this complicated. I called the Pleasanton store directly to get a name for someone in corporate and also to check if that store (even though we didn't do the trade in with them if they could possible help or shed some light into this). A girl named Tiffany answered and was kind enough to actually listen and provide a lot of help and she said she'd look into this with her manager and call me back. The store was closing in 15 minutes and so she said if she doesn't get an answer that night she would get back to me in the morning. And sure enough she did!! And only then I received an updated email from Walnut Creek regarding the credit and it turns out they had misspelled my daughter's email address. My daughter received this credit finally but she was leaving the next day for school out of state, and unfortunately was not able to use this like she wanted for Christmas stuffs. If someone or Sarah had just taken the time and given this a closer look instead of redirecting me to email another department it would've gotten resolved sooner and my daughter could've used this to shop while she was in town and it would've helped her as she doesn't work. Tiffany with the Pleasanton store called me to follow up a few days after to make sure we received the credit and this was resolved. How wonderful is that of her to do that to go above and beyond and to be honorable with her word and keep her word. That's very rare these days. I'm so happy she answered the phone that day! I appreciate her help tremendously, for being so true to her word and for being so kind and providing such great customer service! read more

Ohh where do I start...! A couple of months ago my husband and I bought me a couple of pairs of leggings at Walnut Creek store. They didn't have many in stock so they took them off the manikins I noticed that the stitching was coming undone, and I asked the employee what do I do if I encounter any issues? She told me that I could return them as long as I kept my receipt and the tags to any store. Long story short, the stitching came undone. They actually ended up ripping and I went to exchange them at this (Stoneridge) location. The manager there wouldn't even look at the issue and told my husband they could not return them because they were "worn"... so then I contacted corporate who told me that what the store manager said was not true, and they severely apologize on behalf of the lulu store and actually issued me a gift card for the troubles and took the return back. Corporate told me that they do take returns in store and that they were going to speak with this store manager at Stoneridge! Heads up if you have issues with this manager, I hope you contact corporate because she either needs to be retrained or let go because she's causing a lot of customers a lot of issues and not wanting to return back to Lulu. I had purchased a 5mm mat a few months back and determined that the mat was too thick for my dynamic practice. Unable to find my receipt, I decided to take it to the nearest lulu to donate to the "like new" program. The store associate told me that mats aren't accepted, but she was able to find my receipt and exchange for a new mat; when I had resigned to the fact that I was likely going to be out the cost of the original mat plus a replacement. She was extremely helpful and really exemplified what it means to have great customer service. read more

the space of this store is quite big for apparel. the staffs are nice, courteous, and very helpful. the outlook of the store is neat and many styles are there so customers have lots of choices. it has many fitting rooms which makes easier for us if we want to try the clothes. prices are a bit expensive but good quality and clothes are very comfortable to be worn. recommended products!!! read more

Well, I decided to go shopping for my wife the other day and it stressed me out...... until the lady working came up and noticed I definitely needed some help. I shared with her the sizes my wife wears and within 15 minutes I was on my way. Gave her the stuff this evening for her birthday and she loves everything the lady helped me pick out. I'd definitely shop here again just off the customer service. I came in this past Sunday evening because I had intended to purchase a few pairs of pants. Upon being in there for a few minutes, I was helped quickly by Daniel. He helped me right out in getting the various models and sizes I needed to try on. So of course I go to try some on, and every few minutes, Daniel was very good at helping me out with questions I had about fit/hemming, whether I needed a few more to try on, and even giving me styling tips on how I could wear the pants in different occasions. Daniel was all-around awesome and made my process up to this point very smooth. At one point, I realized I forgot something from my car so I had to be out for a few minutes. When I arrived back inside, I was helped by Kendall. She also kept up the A1 help that Daniel started out with, but moreso taking care of my chosen colors now that I knew what sizes I needed. She was nice enough to run to the back to grab a pair I needed, and also check online for availability on other colors I was thinking about. She eventually helped mark the hem for me and was just again, very good and patient with me the whole time. I was able to get what I needed from this location, and the Daniel, Kendall and the rest of the staff did an awesome job of keeping this a very positive and smooth experience for me. :) read more

I was browsing through Stoneridge Mall I came across Lululemon's. I received AWESOME customer service from 3 of the BEST saleswoman by the names Kim, Marsal and Jessie. These 3 ladies were so kind and helpful as they took the time to educate me on the many different leggings they carried from the type of material, names, length, sizing, etc. and they did it all with a smile. They were graceful with their honesty of their opinions on how the leggings fit me. I felt so comfortable with them just as I do when I shop with my best friend. I knew I was getting their honest opinion and not some bogus feedback that wasn't genuine. Thanks ladies for your AWESOME and MUCH APPRECIATED customer service. I love Lululemon products, the price tag keeps me from filling my closet but the products I have purchased have been fantastic. The yoga pants are so comfortable and every pair I have are great quality. Another great thing about the Lulu stores are that each location is unique and you can find different products and sales at each one, along with great activities like yoga, running clubs and more. The staff here was really friendly and made sure we had everything we needed and even probed for some extra details about how we like the products and what we would improve. read more

Staff was SO friendly and helpful! I was helped by Tiff, Kris, and Taylor (hope I remembered their names right) and had an awesome shopping experience. Taylor was so knowledgeable about leggings and sizing, and helped me find a perfect fit. She was super eager to share all the gear specs with me! Kris/Chris helped me look up a product, and hyped me up to buy a color I loved (but was new to my wardrobe). Tiff welcomed me in with great energy and made sure I was taken care of. I noticed some staff were double-masked. Sanitizer was readily available. I'm always intimidated by lululemon stores because I feel my previous experience with staff has been sour. Snobby, or bad energy. I'm also not big into the cult-like following the brand has. But their quality is unmatched, and these three ladies made me so comfortable and confident in my purchases. This store is by far my favorite Lululemon store. All my experiences with them have been awesome. I'm usually returning stuff I've purchased online and or ordering something online through there store so I can apply the military discount. Have never had any issue with sales items or military discounts. Great customer service all around. Shout out to Tiffany, her personality is so bubbly. For some reason I see her a lot and she's always so helpful. Again, all the staff I've dealt with have been great...maybe they got a new manager and a different culture? If you're a man and haven't purchased anything because you think its a women's line, you're so wrong. They have a fantastic men's line which is rugged and stylish. Sometimes you pay extra just for the name of the brand. People assume that's why I buy Lulu. It's not. I buy Lulu because the quality of the clothing is fantastic as well as the quality of the people. They keep the store nice and clean, everything is in it's right place. It's not huge but not small. They were out of a few sizes and low on others but they order in the store and ship to home for free. Plenty of changing rooms to try out those clothes before youget home, wash them, then realize you spent too much on the wrong size. Will definitely be back when there are some new men's items in the lineup. read more

I must've came in at the right time! I was greeted and I browsed around with my hubby and 2 toddlers so it had to be quick! I grabbed a few things, they offered me the big room to fit my stroller in. When it was time to be rung up the cashier was so friendly! We had a whole conversation in a little amount of time we had. The experience felt personal. It's a bonus that This store is roomy! Plenty of fitting rooms with mirrors all around. It was a much better experience than the Berkeley or Walnut Creek (super busy) one. The customer service at the Lululemon store at Stoneridge Mall is above and beyond! They take the time to help customers have a positive experience. The warmth extended while interfacing with customers is a graceful gift. In the midst of managing not only the store being opened, but a number of healthy and safety protocols, they still are mindful to be pleasant and courteous. I truly hope that regional and corporate management takes the opportunity to recognize the team at Stoneridge. (I have shopped at least six other Lululemon locations in the Bay Area and Stoneridge extends excellent customer service!!!!!) read more

I don't shop in-person often. This recent experience is a reminder why I am an avid online shopper.Edit: take positive reviews, immediately following a negative review with a HUGE grain of salt. Businesses post fake reviews all the time. Notice how, same day, a 1 review profile with a convenient image of a "black" shopper posts a beaming 5 stars? Sure. I see Lululemon's disappointing management here. Instead of choosing the honorable route.. I visited this location, Monday Oct 4, 2021 around 2pm. I accompanied my white boyfriend, when (unsurprisingly, as this has happened before) I faced racial discrimination, bias and micro-aggressions for being a black shopper. In college, I worked clothing retail and have further foresight into how workers discriminate against (most specifically) black shoppers. As expected, I was persistently bugged with (specifically asking me) "Is Everything Okaayy?" in a cloyingly, high-pitched voice. No less than 4 times during my visit. It started with (who I assume is the manager), a blonde older woman and ended with a younger Asian woman. But here's the kicker: after the young Asian employee asks if I'm finding everything okay (an unwelcome interaction given I expressed 0 need for help... again) she tells me "just to let you know, the clearance and sale section is on X side of the store". I can't believe she really just told me that. Yet, another encounter of micro-aggression where I'm presumed to have 0 money. Truly, words can't describe how mentally exhausted I am. If a lighter toned black individual faces this, I can only IMAGINE how darker-skinned are treated . As I've (sadly) had many times before, I asked my white boyfriend if he experienced the same interactions I did when I am being discriminated against. He said no. He wasn't bothered. And he most certainty wasn't told, without asking, where the sales section is... For about half of our shipping trip, we were separated. I joke that he's my shield when I'm shopping because he protects me from being profiled since he is white. When we were separated, I didn't have that protection. Throughout our relationship, he's appalled at what I go through. I purposely DO NOT bring a purse in retail environments because of this, nor did I have a purse on me at Lululemon. I also purposely have my hair straightened, despite preferring my curly hair. Truly, shame on the manager and employees for being exactly what I'm sure they preach against on their social medias, what they present in public. I implore you to BE better. Clearly, I had no bag to even shoplift with. I spent 90% of my time in the men's section for goodness sake. How threatening is 5ft 3in woman in a tank top? This wasn't reasoning against any suspicious activity; I was guilty just for being African American. After these unpleasant, racist encounters, I'm bothered. For DAYS. When I am alone and with my loved ones, my partner's family, I'm comfortable in my own skin. I love my skin, my hair, and my attributes... But it's so burdensome walking outside, in white spaces, to have nearly every person WANTING me to hate myself. I hope at the very least, the employees who I personally interacted with read this and understand that, as a black person, I am specifically pointing at you, and stating YOU are a problem. BE BETTER. I truly hope someone at corporate level even cares enough to discuss this problem with staff, especially given Lululemon's history of racial insensitivity.  Unfortunately, unless it personally affects them, non-BIPOC and white-passing individuals willfully perpetuate the problem. Unfortunately, the managers are the ones who lead the racist crusade and the non-BIPOC manager, I likely interacted with that Monday, who asked every store employee and their mama to harass and watch me...is one of them. Please search the term "object permanence", which is a level of level young children learn about their world and realize just because you do not personally face or see micro-aggressions and racism does not mean it does not exist, nor that YOU personally don't perpetuate it at your work. If a child can understand, so can you. This is my first experience, ever, at Lululemon. It's a shame because I genuinely wanted to return to purchase products for myself. However, I simply can't will myself to buy from people who racially profile me. The other stores we visited at this mall had no such outright racist encounters. Black shoppers and genuine allies, please just buy from online if you still want to buy Lululemon. Same options in store are on their official website. Note: Just after moving to the Bay Area, I had a similar encounter at Big Lots, Livermore, CA one year ago. The district manager was gracious enough to personally contact me and inform me he would speak to his employees. Didn't have it happen there again. read more

I went into the store to sort out issues i was having with my account and Shelby was super helpful in solving my account problems. Minutes later she was also able to solve a situation with a separate customer so that we could both have a new arrival backpack that was low stocked. I'll forever remember this interaction and am very happy i came into this lulelemon today. will be back very soon. read more

This is a large store, which is obviously a plus, but for me to walk around the entire store and never be acknowledged by any employee is a huge issue for me. There were at least 3 working tonight. I was literally standing less than 2 feet from the one gal as she was folding pants and I was looking through their selection, but she didn't even make eye contact let alone ask me if I needed any assistance. It was as if she was avoiding any contact. I worked in retail at Nordstrom so I know good customer service and it goes a long way for me, but the lack of any form of service takes me to the other of end of the spectrum. I wish I could rate this place less than a 1-star review. Get a clue Lululemon!!! There is a reason places like Nordstrom are so successful. I used to love going into this store a year ago. I moved out of state and was excited to return. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! I wear mostly lulu because I am a coach and for comfort. I hate that this store was so rude to me because it makes me not want to buy the clothes at all anymore. My experience was face to face, which I will say she was doing her job and I get, but then she rolled her eyes at me and continued to gossip with fellow employees and pointed at me, as I walked away. Hands down the best workout clothes on the planet. Ive been wearing Lulu for a few years now and it is worth every penny. I squat heavy and have big legs so i need shorts that allow them to move freely without anything getting "smashed." Shirts and tanks are always comfortable too. If you're a man and feel like you can't or shouldn't wear lulu, you're wrong. The staff has been friendly and helpful every time i have come in and questions are always answered. Came to this location on a Fri evening at 8:17 pm. The mall was pretty dead compared to a Sat or Sun afternoon. I figured I'd run in and grab the two items that I wanted- a light weight jacket and a purse/bag. 26 minutes I walk around and around with 4- yes 4 sales associates talking to each other about what they are going to do for the summer. 2 of them kept going to the back behind the changing area. I waited patiently for this one woman to stop chatting. Then I realize the one trying on clothes actually works there! HA! What w great use of time on the clock. LOVE Lululemon. All my money goes to their stores. But at this specific store, customer service is terrible. The women there are so snoody and short with you. Not willing to help you at all. And absolutely no product knowledge. I asked if they had herringbone crop pants. They lady said that Lululemon never has and never will make herringbone crops. I go to the walnut creek store 2 weeks later and guess what I find.... Herringbone Inspire crops!! The lady made me feel like an idiot for asking that when she really was the one with no knowledge of the products. Hard to shop here when I love the clothes but don't want to support the company because of the employees they hire. Amazing shopping experience! I finally invested in my first two pairs of lululemon leggings and it was the best experience shopping. I thought I might feel intimidated by shopping here but it was so comfortable and actually really fun. I had help from two wonderful women, I remember one being named Lillian and the other girl I can't remember but she helped me a lot in the fitting room. First off I'm a huge fan of LuluLemon. I love luluLemon so much my dog is named is named lulu Lemon. My friend had a rip in his pant from the stitching and I told him they can exchange it based on that issue because I have had that problem before we went into this location Stoneridge mall and at first the girl said they will exchange it out. Then A guy came up to us and said they could not exchange it. For as much as I buy and know about this company it hurts that some location lie or don't have good customer service. What can I say, lulu is one of those stores where it makes my wallet unhappy but my body is so happy. I always walk out of lulu with something in an awesome reusable bag that's both superb in quality and possesses maximum comfort. Over the past year, I've gradually replaced my workout wardrobe from summer to fall to winter with lulu stuff and I have to say that they are lightweight despite which season they are deemed to be. The summer ones are so sweat wicking and even after a long run, it doesn't feel soaked and sticky. The fall/winter are form fitting and so insulating that no wind goes in and no heat gets out. There is also a lot of thought given to the design as well, the discrete small back pockets for keys and the seamless pockets on the sides of shorts. For the pace queen, the ankle is left with a loose material to accommodate for the swollen sensation after a run. They really have thought about every small detail! Another plus is every piece of lulu wear is also super stylish and chic. Form and function all in one. Though I do have to say not all lulu are made equal, some designs may fall short of expectations and it is best to read the reviews online to get a handle on the pros and cons [even after trying in store because it's often different on the run]. And definitely try the size out in store first! I do wish it is a little cheaper but with lulu stuff I really do feel like I never need to buy another pair of running shorts again. read more
