It was the first time I stepped inside the new store and wasn't greeted at all. I guess the staff at the registers were too busy with their conversation. No one even asked if I needed help finding anything. I checked out with a girl named Gianna and everything was okay until I was walking out and she "forgot" to remove a security tag from one of the jackets I bought. Talk about embarrassing, especially if I'm spending nearly 300 dollars. I walked back inside and Gianna stepped to the side and instead a gentleman that was there apologized and removed it. Props to him for knowing good customer service. Staff either needs to be retrained or the GM needs to hire people who actually want to work and not just play mean girl simulator. read more

Last night's shopping experience was so pleasant! We were instantly greeted and offered help right away by Alaina, she directed me to the areas I didn't know about because I hadn't been to the store since the move across the street! Looking for clothes was easy, the store was super cute and had lots of space, but my only complaint was they did not have the jacket I wanted, and it was sold out online. Then at checkout, a girl who's name starts with a "J" (I feel bad because I forgot her name) was super friendly and funny, chatted with my sister and I and was just so sweet. Great location if you're on foot strolling El Paseo. Hours are a bit limited at this store compared to others, but they may be in line with other shops. What I really didn't like about this store: there isn't a dedicated markdown rack. The good deals were scattered among the regular merchandise. If you know what you are looking for an know it's a markdown, this isn't very convenient. I'm sure they do it so they have a higher chance of selling full priced merchandise, but as a shopper, it's very annoying. I also didn't get a super warm greeting from this location, as I do from many others. Maybe everyone working was miserable that they were working Super Bowl Sunday and not watching the game? Also -- this location is quite small. I've been in many other small locations that do the most to maximize their space and their offerings. I didn't feel that here. im very disappointed in Lululemons's response to my Christmas gift card purchased for me by my children. It was digitally stolen and used IN ANOTHER COUNTRY within 2 days of purchase. The card was in perfect condition and not visibly tampered with. When I went to use the card i was informed that it had already been used. The response from corporate was essentially, "that's the risk you take". i urge all consumers to stop inflating Lukulemon's sales and profits by purchasing these unsecured gift cards that allow consumers zero recourse. My sister and I were in the store yesterday. I made a purchase and this sales guy ran after us asking to see my bag because somehow the alarm was set off. I let him look and when he saw it was not us he just said, "okay thanks" We were very put off that way he handled the situation as it was jarring. I went in to receive an exchange for a possible item and I am very understanding when it comes to policy, however, when it comes to customer service I am expected to be treated with respect and I unfortunately had a disappointing interaction with one of the ladies in the store. She was uninterested in what I had to say with no willingness to help at all. I will be purchasing from Lululemon again but the location in Palm Desert, not so much. read more

Love the store and the varying selections. What the heck is up with the new layout though? As of December 29, 2018...the entrance is blocked by shelves, tables, and the line from the cashier. Feedback for the Visual Merch person, poor layout. As an avid lululemon shopper I have been to many locations and this location is the worst by far. Customer service is terrible, employees have no desire to help even when asked. The female employee with braces did not know how to do her job at all. I asked for assistance with a matter on my account and she knew nothing, and she was extremely rude. This establishment needs to retrain their employees and instill a more positive and nice customer service experience. It's unfortunate this is the only Lululemon location in the valley. read more

2 months ago I dropped off a jacket to be repaired and some pants to be hemmed at this location. The next day a girl called and told me they wouldn't be able to repair the jacket and the solution was to order a new one. After 2 weeks I still hadn't received anything in the mail as promised. I went into the store 2 separate times to find an answer. The 1st time the manager told me he couldn't help me and told me to call the Guest Education line. I did and they were also unable to help me. The second time the girl who helped me just took my information for a manager who called me and never called back after that. Today I went in and was helped by Casey. He was able to take on my situation and helped me out and got me a new jacket! Thank you Casey for the help! read more

Very disappointing. I've spent thousands of dollars here with my Kids. It's Father's Day and we're together for the first time in years. I've given everyone money to be a couple items but now we find ourselves having to wait outside in the blistering sun because even with mask they are only allowing 4 shoppers at a time and unlimited employees in the building at one time. We have a group of 8 which means our family and girls will be separated shopping. It's time to accept the new work which means living without ever buying Lulu. I came in there today (Wednesday) around 4pm. It wasn't busy which was nice because I ended up asking the tall blonde employee ( I'm so sorry I forgot her name) to literally be my friend and help me pick the cutest outfit for a date I am going on this evening. Never walked into a yoga studio so I wanted to look and feel my best. She was so helpful. Assisted me by giving my so many options to try on and truly was a great example of leadership. By the end of my visit the other girls were cheering me on for my date and I left feeling like a million bucks. Lululemon sucks, I received a pair of pants for Christmas that the waist was the wrong size. I tried to exchange them for the correct size waist and they tried to return them at a sale price and charge me full price for the new pair. I asked for the manager, and she told me too bad. That was their policy, I said, I'm only trying to exchange them. I don't want a store credit just the right waist size. She said that's our policy. Stay away take your money elsewhere. read more

The store is very clean and well-kept, and staff have been friendly. A lot of my friends don't know this so I thought I'd mention that Lululemon offers complimentary hemming on any Lululemon top or bottom, no matter where or when you purchased, with or without receipt. It's a hassle-free process here - just drop off, they have you try on the clothes you're trying to hem, they get pinned, you get a receipt and come back a couple days later to pick up! Super easy process. Wish they'd keep a better stock of the Hotty Hot 2.5 inseam shorts in size 2! It was rare to find any shorts in size 2 even when not on sale. read more

Last night was the best night ever!!! I have lost 150 pounds in the last 2 years & 1 of my goals has been to fit into lululemon athletic gear. Well I made it last night with a gift card from my awesome gym fit in 42 Palm Springs. I had the best experience from the second I walked through the door I was greeted with huge smiles and positive body feedback. Erin helped us, also I had an entourage of 3 young girls 3-9 in age so time was of essence. The smell is heaven with a water diffuser & the vibe is fun & chic. I was sent back to try on the various makes of leggings and picked which style I liked the best. I found a cute workout top with a cutout in back . Now it was Time to check out I was so surprised that they gifted me with another top saying they were proud of my weight loss journey. This made my day. My wife is a new and aspiring Pilates instructor so for her birthday I thought I would surprise her with some new Lululemon apparel. I purchased her a swiftly tech Shortsleeve shirt and three light as air thongs. The staff helping me and the cashier knew it was a surprise present for my wife. At no point did they say that the 3 thongs I bought were a final sale. When I gave the present to my wife she loved the shirt. However the thongs are not the ones she likes. They are too stringy. She prefers the Technithongs. I went today to try and exchange the Light as air thongs for the Technithongs. However to my surprise I was not allowed to do that. The cashier said I should've read my receipt and told me that you cannot return underwear for hygiene reasons. My wife never even tried the thongs on as she knew they were not the one she wanted. Needless to say I am not a happy customer. The fact that I was not told at time of purchase that i cannot return it and the fact that the staff was quite dismissing and rude when I wanted to try and exchange it. Your staff should clearly communicate any policies to the customer instead if just trying to get more sales. The store looks very nice and the products look great but unfortunately this will be my first and only time shopping at Lululemon. read more

Some of the negative reviews literally made me laugh out loud. Seriously? Someone wrote they were mad because babies are in the store? Another gave 3 stars because the store was busy? Wow. I have been here many, many times and each time in I've been greeted with a "hello", the employees make eye contact, and even when I don't buy anything and just try stuff on the girls talk to me as if I (the customer) matter. That's customer service to me. I don't mind them asking me questions because, HEY, they actually helped me discover pants that I never would've tried. I found out that they're not "sales associates," they're "educators" and only care about creating a good environment and letting you know about the clothes (not making sales for themselves). I dig that actually... who likes dealing with a commissioned sales person anyway? The "condescending" or "rude" employees people are mentioning must not work there anymore because that hasn't been my experience, thankfully. I dig this store and the selection. Yes, there's no longer a sale section but who cares? There are a couple items here and there that are mixed in and I get excited when I find one. If I want sales I'll go to the outlets. This layout and floor plan is by far the coolest lulu I have ever been to. Really nice retail displays, and store. Inventory was brand spanking new and not picked over or shoved together in small spaces. Staff was like every lululemon cult like and oddly cheery, but not snotty like all the OC locations Ive been to. (Im not hating love the lulu culture, its just funny) Sale rack was well stocked and priced. Men's section was the best I have seen as well. Great location read more

Every time I come visit Rancho Mirage, I have to stop at this location. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. They also have really great sale items. Bailey has been consistently pleasant and works really hard. She helped me the last time I visited and also this last time. She was so sweet and friendly, explaining all of the new items.
