Lululemon Chestnut Hill is my favorite of their locations in MA! I have an immense amount of love for the brand's clothing and have been consistently buying + wearing their products since I could fit their smallest size in middle school (at the time was size 2, now smallest size is 0 due to their kids' brand Ivivva no longer being around). I have definitely tried other brands for comfortable leggings to lounge in and for working out but always ended up being unsuccessful because there's really no other brand that does it like Lululemon. Price for an article of clothing is quite steep but worth every single penny! I still have one of my first pairs of leggings from here, now 8 years old, and are still holding up in amazing condition. I wear their leggings pretty often too, averaging 5 out of the 7 days of the week, and have never had issues with the seams or bottoms stretching out. Pro tip: If you ever have any issues with their leggings due to seams or etc., you can bring them back to any of their locations and they will gift you a new pair, as part of their quality promise warranty! Also, if the pants or even tops you purchased are too long, you can bring them back to the store to get them hemmed to the length of your liking, free of charge. Free hemming applies for products that were purchased a long time ago, as well. Their jackets are also a great buy, such as their scuba hoodies or define jackets (super great for layering in the winter or wearing in the summer at night when it gets a little brisk). I also recommend their sports bras; fit nicely and cute backs! Never had an issue with any of their products. This location is my favorite, though not the closest to me, because they always have the items I want, in my size in stock... which is honestly rare nowadays with the brand becoming even more popular than ever before. have always shopped here but very disappointed in my experience today.I am a frequent flyer. I got a gift and had a gift receipt but they would not take it back because the person who purchased this took off the clothes tag. The gift receipt was there and it had never been worn. they didnt take it back. very poor customer service, will not shop there again. I would have been happy with store credit. read more

Now my better half is the one whom usually frequents Lulu however lately I've been joining in as well. I am a big fan of the men's shorts (only thing I've owned from them thus far). The colors are always nice and this store for my first experience seemed very nice. The staff today came up greeted us as soon as we came in, offered help by 3 different people. Had our clothes selections brought to the fitting rooms while we chose more things to try on. Had some good small talk, couple laughs and the lady came out with a cute fit. Store was clean, AC was bumping. There's seating for friends and family who might be waiting for you to try your items on. Parking is free in the area. Lulu pricing is known so that's no shocker, and the outlet style prices are only found maybe on the clearance rack near the fitting rooms. read more

I wanted to share what happened at a Lululemon store last week because I truly hope no one else goes through this. I was waiting in line at the register with no one behind me. The customer in front of me seemed to be opening a new card or something so it was taking a while. Meanwhile there were two empty registers and three employees standing behind the counter but none of them greeted me or acknowledged that I was waiting. I do not know exactly how long I waited but it felt long enough to get annoyed and wonder if the registers were even open. When I finally asked, "Excuse me, are those closed?" all three employees suddenly looked at me at the same time and the looks were not friendly at all. Then one person finally came to ring me up with no apology and no thank you for waiting. The whole interaction felt rushed and dismissive. During checkout they asked for my email to look up my account. I could not remember which one I used so I said it was fine. They did not offer to look it up by phone number until I specifically asked. I feel like that is something they should automatically offer if the email lookup is not working. When I got home I saw the packaging clearly said 84 dollars. My receipt said 98 dollars and I was charged 104 dollars with tax. I paid 14 dollars more than the tagged price and that was very frustrating. Two days later I went to another store to get a 14 dollar credit. Since it was during Black Friday season the trip took about 3 to 4 hours with traffic and long lines. All of that time was wasted just to fix something that should not have happened. I later submitted survey feedback and received an email from the store asking me to call. The manager apologized but kept interrupting me and said they did not know what happened because they were not there that day. They offered a one on one shopping experience with 25 percent off one item but after what happened I did not want to go back. In the end I felt ignored and disrespected and like my time did not matter to them. And honestly it made me wonder about the subtle differences in how some customers get treated especially Asian customers. I really hope that was not the case but the whole vibe made me question it. I am not asking for compensation. I only want every customer to be treated with basic respect. I hope my family friends and anyone else will never experience something like this. TLDR Ignored at the register unfriendly looks rushed checkout overcharged 14 dollars wasted hours fixing it and the follow up was not sincere. read more

One of the workers try to scam us by slipping one item about 50 dollars worth in our clothes. We found out that she did this while seeing the receipt since the numbers didnt match. When we let this know, the manager acted all strange and said the person accidentally scanned the wrong item on her side which makes no sense. read more

This was the worst lululemon I've EVER been to. I've never been treated so disrespectfully by anyone in my life. Me and my friend went into an open dressing room for about 2 minutes to try something on, and we were openly reprimanded by the staff who thought we were trying to steal the bag left in the dressing room. She was condescending, demeaning, and completely out of line. Shame on her for assuming the worst in lululemons formerly loyal customers. I love Lululemon for their trendy products (I know, the quality is spiraling downward and the company is taking kind of a douchy stance on the whole matter, but still) and generally friendly service. This location happened to be the first I stopped in to since the wunder under crops returned in black(!) so I grabbed a pair. I also wanted a white top, so I tried on a handful during this visit. The girl at the fitting room was decently nice and grabbed some extra sizes for me. Fast forward to check out, a solid 15 minutes later, as I spent a while debating which style shirt fit best, and I asked the girl checking me out if the top I'd selected was on sale, since other colors were marked down. She said no, but rang the item up and it showed up at $29. All would have been fine, but she then acted like she had to get approval from another employee to not raise the price to full price, since this price reduction was a computer mistake. Hard to believe. Also weird that I got home, took the shirt out of the bag, and it had a rust-colored stain on it, which wasn't there when I tried it on. Final sale on sale items can be a bummer. Yeah, I'll still shop here, but I've had much nicer interactions with the staff at the two Boston locations. read more

Never ever buy anything from this store. I would rather go to Natick or legacy place but not to chestnut hill. I ordered an item n gave it for alterations- I gave all my info for the item to be shipped n I still didn't get the item even after 25 days n thank god suddenly it struck me after going thru my credit card statement that I didn't receive it n called the store to remind them- the lady over the phone didn't even have any info- isn't this ridiculous- if I wouldn't hv called they wouldn't hv even bothered to send me at all. I read the reviews before going to the store, so part of me was prepared for a horrible experience. But I happily had the complete opposite experience. I walked in and was instantly greeted by someone. The whole store was bustling with activity. I looked around and eventually made my way to the spot I was supposed to go to, the yoga mats. This was the first time I was buying a mat there, so I asked one of the associates at the front for help and she was really really helpful and honest. I had looked over the price and saw that it was actually very reasonable. I went to the register and checked out and was surprised that it was $10 more than what was on the price tag. I casually brought it up and she made the changes without making a fuss at all. I'll definitely be back for future purchases. Looking forward to it! read more

I'm surprised by the negative customer service reviews this place has gotten. Perhaps the surly/apathetic employees have left, or perhaps corporate HQ has done some serious work around improving customer service. I am a newcomer to the brand, having held off on drinking the Lululemon Kool-Aid because of the prohibitive price of the clothing. But then I got a gift card, and I bought a few things, and now I'm a believer. I've been to a few Lululemon locations in and around Boston, but I've only ever made purchases at the Chestnut Hill location. The reason I have done my buying here is because the staff are really nice, helpful, and do not pressure customers. As I said, I'm a new customer, so when I go into the store, I have lots of questions about items, sizing, clothing care, etc. At every turn, the employees have been helpful, engaging, happy, and pleasant. They ask questions about the types of athletic activity that I do in order to make the best clothing recommendations, which I really appreciate. I really like this store, and the reason I like it is because of the nice people who work here. read more

Chestnut Hill Lulu is THE best! I'm a golf strength and conditioning coach and live in lulu: coaching, golfing, workouts, to and from...you name it. So when I noticed 3 pairs of pants I bought during the same season were all worn in the same weird spoton my leg, this rockstar location exchanged all 3 pairs and let me swap them out. Thank you for making my life easier guys! I had such a poor experience at this new store. I went in to purchase a pair of crop pants and was unable to find my size 6 in black. So I asked a sales person if they had any more in stock. She simply said no and walked away. Then, after selecting a pair in navy I went up to the counter to ask if someone could call one of the other local stores to see if they had them in stock and was then told that 'YOU can call the other stores" I then asked if they could check online to see if they were available in my size online. Again they told me that I should check online because they were unable to. I was quite taken aback by this as any and ALL retail stores I frequent (Saks, J. Crew, Anthropologie, Bed Bath and Beyond, to name a few, have done just that. Checked around for stock at local stores or checked online stock. Securing an item, having it put on hold for me to pick up or even arranging shipping to my home. Not only has Lululemon's quality of their items spiraled downward but so has their customer service. I ended up returning the capri pants after reading over a hundred horrible reviews on Lulu's website about sheerness of fabric, shoddy quality and poor workmanship of this particular capri. Then to add insult to injury I had to return to the newly opened store with the dreadful customer service. So for all of you out there, apparently it is Lululemon's policy NOT to help the customer locate an item if not in stock. NOT to assist them in finding it online. And, generally, NOT to be of help. Period. For the money they charge, what are we getting? My answer? A full refund. read more

I don't understand the customer service at Lululemon. The women who work there are always very nice but they are not helpful! I'm too tired to peck out the story of how 4 members of the staff collectively made the experience unpleasant. Icing on the cake was the manager checked me out and then sent me out the door with the tag that sets off bells and whistles still attached to my garment.
