A bonus would be get a a red, white and blue bullet popsicle and turn your tongue multi-colors. Those were days! As a child, if you heard the faint ringing of the ice cream truck when they were exiting the neighborhood, you ran like Gabby Thomas does today to purchase your sweet treat. I remember that so vividly...such fond memories. Odd Pop is the equivalent of the ice cream truck except they drive straight to your business or event (weddings, gender reveals, birthday parties, and anniversaries). Today, my hubby and I had the pleasure of having three popsicles (lemon Thai basil, strawberry mango and Elderflower Lime) and they were all delicious and so soothing to eat. We really enjoyed that they were fruit based and not eye squinting sweet. Today we had 95 degree weather that feels 150 degrees. It is no doubt that Odd Pop will be doing big business in the Austin area.

I love that Grace & Joe are inclusive with their selection of drinks to ensure there's drinks for any age, any background, any history or relationship with drinking, whatever, they have a welcoming presence, a beautiful location at one of the best food truck parks in Austin, and honestly, they just make my day. Sometimes, I drive past their spot just to say hello and sip on something delicious that Grace is brilliantly concocting and just enjoy the joy and community this business has brought to Austin. I will start with the "downsides" (as few as they are). This place is pretty small. Like smaller than I thought. Because of this, its not the greatest place for browsing. They had some "witch" stuff which was interesting, but I was looking for a book. Also, most of the books are used which isn't terrible, but not exactly clear. As for the positives, this place is a true small business so you really get the personal touch when it comes to service. I also picked this place because it did a "blind book" service where they will pick out a book or two for you based on your description. A bunch of bookstores do this, but the Book Burrow understood the assignment exactly. They got me THREE books and all of them were PERFECT. I was surprised how they found my vibe and found me unique books! They also wrapped it in a beautiful paper and addressed it to me! It was like a little birthday gift to myself! As you can tell, I was very floored by the selections. This is the small business of small businesses so I am so HAPPY that I was able to stop by! While the place is small and their selection is in flux, I really appreciated the personal touch from the staff at The Book Burrow.
