What a great, massive selection of everything you need for wine, beer, and other alcoholic beverages. Their staff are very helpful if you have any questions about what's a great pinot noir from California, or what's a great local beer that's made from a local brewery and will point you in that right direction. I only shop here when I need to stock up on alcohol. read more

went in searching for tobacco and alcohol that day. i rarely ask questions at checkout, but I made two inquiries there when they asked if they could help me with anything else. they didn't know where the tobacco shop was; I didn't think to call the shop directly myself, so ended up driving miles away to another location only to find out later that the tobacco shop was inside the mall right behind them. oh well, not their fault. then i asked whether they carry a certain brand of ginger beer that i once had and liked. one called the other and then the third showed up. soon I was having a discussion with them and showing them Google images. they brought out some other beverage of that brand but not what I wanted. then they went in and grabbed some other stuff that was still not it. at this point I felt like I was giving them too much trouble; kept telling them that "it's ok, I was just asking". but they were only too eager to help. upon my departure with two 4-pks and a bottle that I had paid for before this entire exchange began, they urged that I came back another time and check again, promising to lock it down and get it into the store. "if it's on the market, we'll get it" was their promise. I wish our local market is that responsive to customer needs. they are already carrying easily thousands of products on the shelves, but they absolutely got an A++ for effort and customer service, for showing how willing they are to continuously evolve and improve. whether that's motivated by money/profit or genuine passion, it'll still be a win for customers. you bet I'll be back next time I'm in need of booze! read more

Just the shear size of this behemoth store alone rates a star. I did ask a couple of employees if they knew the square footage and I think they thought I was nuts. And when I went to take a picture of the large check out area (yes Christmas is coming) one of the guys cowered away LOL maybe he's in the witness protection plan? So it's a liquor store, I 'll keep it brief. The beer shelves are filled with a good variety of beer, lots of New England breweries represented and plenty of local favorites. I also like a good bourbon. You can get Makers Mark and Knob Creek anywhere but here there are 30 other bourbon brands some with crazy names and colorful label's. (But not as nuts as beer labels which are absolutely insane.) Huge wine selection but I know nothing about wine except I hate Manashevitz. They have a whisky tasting event Sat, I think I'm down for that. I suggested via FB IM that they do a craft beer tasting. Lots of local breweries and of course the giant AmBev who've bought up 10 breweries would represent. They said they would consider it. I get it beer sales are slumping overall and wine and spirits are up and margins matter.. so who knows. One thing I know is that this isn't Total Wine but its pretty good for my neck of the woods! read more

I've had quite a few visits to Luke's since they've opened nearly a couple of months ago. My first few trips featured a store that was only about half stocked up. The place is huge inside and definitely has potential but honestly, I left feeling very underwhelmed by it all. I wanted to believe that they'd have the newest, top notch craft beers in stock but instead found myself trying to have conversations with the staff that I shouldn't have. Having to explain who Goose Island or Jack's Abby is. They were clueless and still are to this day. They have no idea what they're carrying and while the selection of wine and spirits is good, the craft beer side of things is thin. No good Belgian beers in stock and nothing from Grimm, Crooked Stave, or many other craft beer breweries that have landed in the state. It's all mostly Corona, Bud Light and the likes, with a few bottles and cans from local breweries but again, nothing really that outstanding or that I can't easily get anywhere else. So while the location is great and parking plentiful, I was really hoping for more from them. More knowledge, more availability but being in early stages, hopefully things improve. Until then, I won't be going weekly, just once in a while, on a pinch. read more

The store is big compared to their local competition. Very clean too. They can offer a large selection which makes them the place to go! Minus one star simply because of the inconvenience of the redemption being located in an outside entrance of the back of the building. read more

Big place so tons of options. Good prices too and the employees have always been friendly and knowledgeable. I haven't really had to rely on their knowledge that much but did chat with someone about the Bourbons they carry and my wife got great input about Sangria. It's a good place for booze. read more

What can I say. I was at a wine tasting at Luke's liquors in Canton last week. I was looking for a certain type of wine and could not find it. One of the owners of Luke's liquors took down my name and phone number to try to find it for me and they were supposed to call me early this week. But, of course they didn't. Yeah, I'm not going there again. Like Craig F, my beer was rung up at a different price to the label. It got sorted, but shouldn't have happened in the first place. The price, to begin with, was the highest I've paid for that beer in this area; the other liquor store, on the mall, is cheaper. And, for some reason Luke's adds the deposit! So it's the marked price plus the deposit. I've not come across that practice elsewhere around here; every place around Boston that I've bought beer in includes the deposit in the price. No plastic bags, either. Returns are a nuisance. You have to go around to the "Redemption Center", which all the way around the back (a nuisance if you're driving, a bit of a trek if you're walking!), and is a steel door that leads to a dingy room that stinks to high heaven and doesn't feel in the least bit safe. Then you have to walk all the way back to the front to "redeem" the coupon the machine spits out. Talk about discouraging returns! All in all, I was not impressed in the slightest. And nope, I won't be returning. read more

Best prices & best selection in town. Loved being in there, super friendly staff. This is my "go to" liquor store now.

3 stars for selection. Always check the canned on date when you buy craft beer at this store. I just paid $17.95 for a 4 pack of Greater Good Pulp Daddy which was canned on 9-20-20...today is 1-11-21...ugh. my fault for not looking at the date before making.my purchase...their fault for not checking inventory...hence the 3 star review. read more

Avoid this one like the plague, unless you like giving in to their scams. This is another one of these liquor stores that shows good prices on the shelves and rings you up more at checkout. When called on it, the clerk went and retrieved the price from the shelf, scanned it, and still insisted it was the higher price. I walked, you should too. Hopefully the ABCC will be paying them a visit soon! (FYI, clerk also had no idea what Jack's Kiwi Rising was, even when on the shelf. ) read more
