The work we needed done to our home was extensive. We have a large multistory house with stucco that was cracking and falling apart everywhere. On top of that, we had just installed dozens of new windows that needed sealing and stucco work. This was a big, complex project that took about a month to complete. My experience with Southwest Stucco was outstanding: - Expertise: Earl and his guys have been doing this for decades and are geeks for this stuff. They know all the codes, regulations, and had solid solutions for every challenge. - Professionalism: Showed up on time every morning, had a ton of specialized equipment and scaffolding, were courteous & kind, made sure to cover up areas that needed to be protected and then cleaned up after themselves. Best of all, these guys take real pride in their work and will spend as long as it takes to get everything looking as perfect as possible. - Transparency and communication: Southwest Stucco never strayed from their initial estimate (which I can't emphasize enough) and kept us in the loop every step of the way. Anytime they hit a snag, they let us know and explained how they'd handle it. - Price: We got quotes from 9 different stucco companies in Austin. Southwest Stucco was the second lowest (which now seems unbelievable to me). The actual lowest was from a contractor who saw all the work that needed to be done and didn't sound very knowledgeable or confident. All in all, Southwest Stucco is that rare gem of a company, and we feel truly blessed to have found them. I've included some pictures from the project.

I choose System Pavers because of their reputation and warranty. I have a dream for my backyard and…read moreneeded them to set the stage. Joseph Deleon my Design Consultant showed me the dream on paper. Under Justin Beard's leadership, Jefrin the Foreman, along with their team, got the patio underway quickly. They listened to what I desired as far as design including a flat level roll-up entryway to accommodate my daughter's wheelchair. These guys worked so hard on a big messy job! They cleaned up everyday and never left a mess. Seriously, I was amazed at their quality of work and professionalism. They delivered beautifully and I am so thankful! Tina Marie - San Antonio

Brian, the sales guy, was super easy to talk to, work with and helped us figure out what would work best for our space designing a Trex deck and pathway of pavers. James, the project manager, kept things moving, listened and stayed in touch throughout. And Oscar--the guy who actually did the pavers was very responsive and made a beautiful pathway! There were a couple parts that had to be redone, but they owned it and made sure everything got fixed properly. It's a testament to a business's commitment to customer service when they acknowledge a mistake and rectify the situation. Now our backyard looks completely different--in the best way. It's a space we actually want to hang out in now. Again, big thanks to Brian, James, and Oscar for making it happen!

Gabriel and his crew completed a job for me over a year ago...but they never actually completed it…read more In fact, I wrote another review about halfway through the project on his old landscaping site, Compass Landscaping and have filed a civil case, despite NUMEROUS requests to resolve the small, but expensive, remaining issues. Gabriel's crew is wonderful and hard working. They did a great job on the hardscaping, though there are still issues with drainage on a patio. Gabriel left my parents and myself hanging. There was an entire corner of the lawn that they never returned to sod, several of the large expensive plants we bought got sick during warrantee and Gabriel did not extend the courtesy of getting back in touch with us to replace them, and the same thing happened with a large red oak, which is now dying. The watering system was not maintainer or properly set up, corners were cut and the lack of communication surrounding something that is EASILY remedied is the most frustrating part. I have written and called no less than ten times, but it appears he is too busy to finalize a $120,000+ project that he said he would over a year ago.

His crew was respectful, hardworking, and showed great attention to detail throughout the entire process. The project was completed on time, and they went above and beyond to make sure everything was done right. The quality of the concrete work exceeded my expectations, and the entire experience was smooth and stress-free. If you're looking for a reliable concrete contractor for patios, driveways, or any concrete work, I highly recommend Ricardo and his team. It's hard to find this level of dedication and service these days. I will definitely be calling them again for future projects.

Terrible experience with Ricardo and Affordable Concrete. I…read morehad met with Ricardo and I explained what i needed done. I stressed to keep rain runoff away from existing patio slab. I ended up getting exactly what i did NOT want. (See photo) When brought to his attention, Ricardo stated that he used a laser level and that me and my wife personally reviewed and approved using our own level. What is NOT true about this statement is the section of new concrete with yellow arrow (see photo) was not personally reviewed nor approved for slope by my wife and I. What is true is that 2 different sections of Ricardo work were checked and found to have an issue with the slope. All of this detail should have been checked by Ricardo, not my wife and I. Ricardo accepts no responsibility for his mistakes and because i was present throughout the job I should have caught this mistake, flagged him and called time out. Almost to say it was my fault. I fully regret hiring this company especially for the amount of money i paid. Almost 12,000.00 dollars. Be careful who you hire, do your homework and most importantly get every little detail in writing. These types of mistakes should not happen. A professional company should consider and apply any and all City of San Antonio Codes to eliminate any discrepancies or mistakes such as water runoff. Affordable Concrete kept my wife and I busy as there were other issues that needed addressing as well. Be careful with who you hire! My response to Ricardo. You are correct, you had no control over my existing slab. You did however have full control on how the concrete you installed slopes. It is the installation and slope of your work that is diverting water onto the existing slab. That is how the water in my photo got there. It is not complicated so please quite trying to spin reality. Its your product, you should own it. I can take a garden hose and show you a video if you like. Just let me know. Also, I will not be deleting my Google review. Maybe some edits but nothing else.
