I called three different roofing companies and Alex came out the same day. I never even got a call back from other two places. Ever since that first visit Alex has been a fantastic communicator. His crew came out and replaced the roof and vents in one day. His other crew came to replace all the gutters and downspouts. They even hung a new gutter/spout by the front door entrance and told me it would be no charge. Alex also personally replaced our hail-damaged screens. Now for the icing on the cake. Because we chose impact resistant shingles we are eligible for a significant reduction in our homeowners insurance. Alex took care of all the paperwork and communicated directly with our insurance company to make that happen. THAT is customer service and blew me away when he told me he would do that. The work and service Alex and his crews provided was top notch and we are very happy we chose Alex Roofing and Remodeling.

I found that in spades with Roofer Chicks. We used Roofer Chicks to replace our roof, replace our windows, replace our siding, replace gutters and paint entire outside. With each step, they were always communicative. From beginning to end, they were always accessible and able to turn on a dime, if needed. An example was when they went to replace the siding, the first day, they did the chimney. We couldn't really see out the back windows due to the work so it wasn't until they finished for the day and my wife took a dislike to how it looked. They were coming back the next morning so I reached out to Roofer Chicks on a Saturday, early in the morning, to express our feelings and they immediately offered to go with a different layout, including taking down what they had done the day before. That was exactly what I had been looking for in a company. If anyone ever asks for any sort of work for the exterior of their house, my only recommendation will be Roofer Chicks. Their customer service lives head and shoulders above anyone else out there.

Nicholas came out, looked at what actually needed to be repaired, and gave me a straightforward and very reasonable price. His team installed a new furnace vent cap that had blown off, sealed the storm collars, bases, and roof vents, and repaired cracked tile areas. The entire job was completed for $1,100, and the quality of the work was excellent. What impressed me most was that Nicholas didn't try to turn a repair into an unnecessarily expensive roofing project. He explained what needed to be done, charged a fair price, completed the work professionally, and took care of the actual problem. It is difficult to find contractors who combine good workmanship, fair pricing, honesty, and responsiveness, but Barnes N' Roofs delivered on all four. I would absolutely use Nicholas and his team again and recommend them to anyone in the San Antonio area who needs roofing work. Excellent work at a fair price. Five stars.
