This place is a GF girl's dream, almost everything on the menu can be made GF. We got the calamari, garlic shrimp, and I ordered a shrimp with breadcrumbs pasta dish. All of the food was delicious, well cooked and flavorful. A few reasons I didn't give them 5 stars though- their bread baskets left crumbs all over the table and then the servers put my utensils right on the crumbs (not safe) plus... they can do everything GF except the bread? That's such a part of the whole experience so a huge let down there. Not as many GF desserts as I would have liked so I got an affogato (off menu) and it was delicious. Can't say the entree portions are huge but I appreciated the side of veggies and since we ordered apps we definitely did not leave hungry.

What a find! Been in this area so long, not sure how I missed this place. Everything from the welcome to being seated to trying the appetizers and meal were simply amazing. The environment is very welcoming and warm. To top things off, Luigi walks around and introduces himself to the customers - loved his attitude and welcoming personality. He makes you feel like old time friends :) Now, the food. I don't know what to tell you. It took me back to my time in Italy last year. The aperol spritz on a hot day, delici seafood entrees and good company .... Just, wow!! Can't wait to bring the friends and fam here!

One of the better Italian places I've been in some time. We went for my nephew's 7th birthday, at his request. He said he could eat the chicken parm every day for the rest of his life! The staff was kind enough to split the portion of chicken parm into two dishes without adding the heavy mozzarella for the kids to eat it easier. They both asked for extra Parmesan, which the kind staff diligently doled out spoonful after spoonful. This is a white table cloth, traditional Italian place, but the feeling is relaxed and welcoming to families. The Orecchiette Barese had a heavy serving of Broccoli rabe, which lightened the dish. I had the pollo sorrentino which was juicy and had the thinnest slice of eggplant layered on top. It was served with a healthy portion of veggies and two seasoned potato wedges. The sauce is listed as a white wine sauce with a touch of marinara, but it made me think of a roasted tomato and olive oil sauce. It was so delicious. I highly recommend going. My family has gone for years and it's now the kids favorite!

But I digress... - Little Gem Classic Caesar Salad: Even a run-of-the-mill commoner like this tasted noticeably crisper and fresher than many recent salads I've had. And the dressing wasn't loaded with cream, for a change. - Strigoli Seafood Pasta: Light, refreshing, seafood pasta tastiness with a small handful of scallops, crab and shrimp in a lemon-thyme reduction--I just could've used about 30% more of it to justify the $39 price point. This isn't the West Village..... - Classic Creamed Spinach: Too salty. Skip this. - Mashed Potato Rings: On the flip side, get this for one of the most unique and creative ways you can ever enjoy fried potato. Mmmm....I wasn't sure if I wanted to consume the starch or toss it onto a pole. - Passion Fruit Panna Cotta with Dulce de Leche: A spontaneous splurge, but we were well-rewarded with a tasty combination of bright gelatin, creamy dark sugar, refreshing lychee sorbet, and a smokey black sesame shortbread cookie to boot. Service was friendly and attentive despite the bust weekend dinner crowd and the fact that we were seated on the packed patio overlooking the lovely marina. The drinks we got were all lovely too, but sadly I can't remember what we got. The fresh salty air must've fogged my memory.

My prior reviews are under MP. When we first came into the Feathered Fox, the atmosphere appeared to have a much more sexy deeper color vibe, than previous years. Today, Damian was our wonderful server. Here it begins with Cocktails! 18.00 each: - Friend in the Meadow w/ Titos (Birdie glass with feathers). It had a lovely, welcoming and enjoyable sweetness. - Pineapple Grill with Casamigos Meczal. Tasted exactly like a mildly grilled sweet pineapple with suddenly a Kick! Entree Time! I ordered the Wagyu Steak and Scrambled Eggs $38.00. The steak was off the charts delicious. A side of lightly seasoned Foxy Fries accompanied the meal. All the items were prepared and seasoned beautifully. My Bf ordered the French Toast $19.00. It was made out of Chocolate Babka with maple infused syrup. He really enjoyed it. Dessert Finale! We shared a super delicious Lemon Olive Oil Cake $14.00. Toasted Meringue topped the cake. The cake was dense, but still moist and Very Lemony. Highly Recommend!!!! All throughout our meal, someone was coming around filling our water glasses. Definitely recommend The Feathered Fox! A large parking lot is available.

We felt very at home to the point that it didn't matter what we ordered because rest assured that it will be handled with perfection. I ordered two eggs with Taylor Ham, which came with potatoes and toast. I was pleasantly surprised to see they had gluten free toast. They also have gluten free Belgian waffles on the menu, so I'd definitely try those out next time. I was part of a party of 2, and our combined meals, two coffees, one juice, and one side came out to be around $30, which is more than reasonable for how much food you get. The space itself is somewhat outdated, but like I said, it's a classic diner. If you're headed to a diner, I'd assume you're not looking for somewhere especially upscale. All in all, I recommend Brookside Diner for breakfast or brunch! The price for the portion and quality makes it worth it.

I enjoyed the birra tacos and the wife loved the Med Chicken pita. They have around 40 beers on draft and especially one of my favorites (at the time we went but keep in mind they rotate often): Ship Bottom Blueberry Wheat Ale - don't judge! For dessert we each got our own cookie skillet (usually 3 per order but for an extra couple of dollars they'll add another). Everything was on point. I finally gave it a try after hearing so much hype since it opened its first location in the area, and I honestly didn't quite get it. Ordered takeout, and everything you see pictured came out to around $100, which set the expectations a bit higher. Unfortunately, most of the food were pretty average.....tavern food that leaned more "heat and serve" than freshly made. A lot of it tasted like it could've been toasted straight from frozen packaging, which was disappointing given the price point. As for dessert, the cookies definitely tasted store bought, which kind of summed up the overall experience. Not terrible, but not memorable either. It's convenient and quick if you're in the area and need something easy, but I probably wouldn't go out of my way to come back.
