They have a huge selection of buttons from basic to very fancy and in large quantities of each. I didn't look through the fabrics as I haven't been sewing much lately but they seem to have a ton. I will definitely come here first next time I need buttons. And I will bring cash - minimum card charge is $10. I should bring the garments as well, since they keep the buttons behind the counter and I have old lady eyes so it was a little tricky to explain what I wanted from a bit of a distance but I did manage.

You would think with this much experience she would know the many different forms in which people can make payments. Apparently having a debit card is not enough to purchase an item at this store. The manager even asked me why I am using debit instead of credit (are you serious)? As a Manager you cannot dictate to a paying customer how they should spend their money. And If you have a Temporary debit card w/ ID forget about purchasing from this store because they don't accept it! "For Liability Reasons," Maybe they can invest in a sign that states this policy near the cash register. Just a suggestion ;-) and while there doing that they can go ahead and inform this to the various banks, nation wide that issue these Temporary debit cards because apparently they are not accepted at stores! My sole purpose of getting anything form this store is for medical uniforms/ accessories! This purchase was for school. If it was not an urgent and necessary purchase I would have gladly taken my money to another Gallo Location!

However, recently I had a few not-so-good interactions with them that left a bad after taste. I liked a pair of earrings (4.3 grams) so I asked for price. The owner said $395 including gold weight, labor, rhodium, etc. Still, $395 is a lot for 4.3g even considering other factors mentioned above. Anyway, I left that day and came back another day when gold prices dropped a little, hoping for a lower price. The owner dismissively said $525. She gives prices on a whim without any reason. Anyway, I had the same design custom made from another shop for a lot less $255. I went back to see current designs, and they just acted very awkward. Oh well, her loss of a good customer. I buy a lot of jewelry but I also like a good deal and some respect.
