We made an appointment to come meet with her as we were looking forward to Booking our vacation that day we all took time out of our busy schedules as it was very difficult because they are closed weekends We asked Shari if she could recommend some resorts and her response was well there's just so many. I of course had lots of questions naturally since it would be our first time traveling to this destination. She would not answer my questions but very condescendingly said I'm giving you all the information to take home. When we finally got a quote for a very nice resort that we all liked. To our surprise it was a lot more expensive as we had looked up prices online previously. Her solution for us was and I quote "if it's too expensive for you".. You can come home a day early.... so insulting I felt that she could've offered to look into other resorts that were in our budget. Which she did offered to do. But she said... I will not be able to do it today which was disappointing to all of us as we look forward to sealing the deal to our trip that day. Instead she said she would email us more information and said let me walk you to the door. Insinuating she was in a rush. I would not recommend at all

Barcelona started at a tapas bar where we chose tapas from a buffet in a rustic atmosphere of archways made of giant stones, Then a Barcelona tour that included architecture from the Roman era to Gaudi's creations and a view of America's Cup race in the Marina. A train took us to Alicante where we stayed in a Palace that was 100 feet away from the plaza full of sidewalk cafes! Paid a visit to the Miguel Cervantes tribute (Author of Don Quixote), the plaza, and marina. Next was Seville, where we took a tour and stopped at a Pizza restaurant -- walked around some landmarks, and prepped for our 4 days in Madrid. There we had an amazing Tapas and Wine Tour, visited Prado Museum, and other historical sites, and yes, discovered some amazing cafe/restaurants right around the corner from our hotel. Found the best Paella in Spain, discovered new wines, and found a restaurant "Jardin Secreto" overlooking the plaza. (from a list of hidden dining gems thanks to tour guide Patricia Willems.) There is no way I could have arranged or found everything myself. It was definitely a one-of-a-kind experience.

I especially want to thank Lexy at Radiance Salon for the special care and attention she gave me when she cut my hair. She was very kind and was a big part of what kept me going. I realize that most who stay here may not be doing it for the same reasons but I think it's worth mentioning that this is the kind of place you can go to just to relax and take a break from whatever it is that you need to get space from on the outside. Also Pink Coffee was especially good and I would be thrilled to find a location on the east coast (and the workers at the cafe were also very nice to speak with). Thanks, Andrew

Employee who helped us at the Registration desk was polite-gentlemen assisting at the line to be sure we know we had to have ID and Player's card, so we wouldn't be dissappointed when we go to the front of the line. Then, there was another very long line to go up the escalator to the Ball Room. That was organized well, alternating two lines for those using the escalator-staff making sure some patrons do not cut in line. At Ball Room we go to our assigned table. Table number display could have been on 4 sides, so that when you step away it would be easier to find your table when you return: then there are 2 more long lines for the Buffet, which is set up in the area outside of the dining room. I didn't notice the seafood area, which was a distance from the main Buffet line. Another line for ham and prime rib. Inside the ballroom drinks and desserts only are available. We got two plates because we didn't want to stand in line again. Entertainment by Jon B.-loud, loud...singing/music. Majority of the 'mothers were over 50' that I noticed. It was difficult to have a conversation with those at the table. I visually counted about 5 tables with no guests on our side of the room. Comparing to my experience at Soboba's Mothers Day event, this event could have been more organized. As for the food-I liked the salmon, scrambled eggs and desserts.

1 Star - Very Disappointing Experience…read more We went on an adventure with Action Tours in Big Bear and decided to rent a GoPro from them for $49 (tax included) so we could record the whole experience. What they never told us was that the SD card only holds about 45 minutes of video... even though the tour lasts 3 hours. Because of that, the camera ran out of space before we even really started, and we didn't get to record the full experience at all. When I called afterward to explain the issue, the staff was extremely rude. They basically said, "You rented a GoPro to get a video, and you got a video," and refused to take any responsibility. They made it clear they don't do refunds, even though they never told us about the recording limit in the first place. Overall, the adventure itself is just okay -- you get what you pay for, nothing extra. But the unprofessional and rude staff completely ruined it for us. Definitely do NOT recommend renting the GoPro, and honestly the customer service alone makes it hard to recommend Action Tours at all.

Unfortunately, due to a mistake on our end when marking our calendar, we missed our original booking date. We absolutely acknowledged and took full responsibility for the error, and respectfully reached out to Big Bear Zipline to explain the situation and see what options were available to salvage the experience. As shown in the attached screenshots, we approached the situation kindly, respectfully, and understanding that businesses must balance policies with customer service. We shared that we were not asking for a free experience, but simply hoped for some understanding given the circumstances and the significant payment we had already made. Despite our efforts to find a middle ground, the business remained firm, reiterating that although they "have compassion," they would not accommodate further without additional payment. While we respected their right to enforce their policy, the interaction felt very transactional, and sadly did not reflect the spirit of hospitality we had hoped for when planning a meaningful family trip. We received one email when we purchased the tickets two months ago and one phone call 10 minutes before our scheduled reservation. In the end, it may have been a blessing in disguise. We explored other activities around Big Bear that felt incredibly welcoming, fun, and family-oriented -- experiences that created beautiful memories we will cherish for a lifetime. We share this review not out of anger, but to offer honest feedback: mistakes happen, and sometimes, a little flexibility and kindness could leave a much bigger, positive impact on families looking to create lasting memories.
