Please be warned. This is the most uncooperative, rude, arrogant carrier we have ever had the displeasure of working with. In 7+ years this is the first time ever commenting like this about a carrier, but they were the absolute worst.
Our customer had a family emergency during transport and was not going to be at the delivery location at time of delivery that was still scheduled for another 4 days. Before agreeing to anything with the customer, we asked Tyson, the owner of the carrier if he would accept Quick Pay payment from us, and we would charge the customers CC. Tyson agreed on one condition, and that we deposit the money into his account before the vehicle was delivered. Against our policies of paying before delivered, and without any kind of invoice or BOL, which Tyson flat out refused to provide us, we reluctantly agreed to his terms.
We asked Tyson to please send us all the account and routing number information as instructed on the dispatch sheet. Instructions of what information is needed are clearly spelled out on the dispatch sheet and Routing number is even highlighted and in bold all caps. The dispatch sheet was sent TWICE!
Four days after dispatching, and one day after pickup, we were sent the account number and no routing number. We immediately attempted to notify carrier with repeated unanswered phone calls, and emails. It was not until two days later that we received the routing number and it was incorrect. It took us another entire day to get the correct routing number. That is THREE days wasted by the carrier in providing us with information they should have given us over a week prior!! It is now the day of delivery, and carrier will not accept any responsibility what so ever for their delays, and are now demanding that they get paid before they deliver the car. Tyson was THE most stubborn person I ever spoke to, and basically telling me it was all our fault, and we HAVE to do things HIS way! Seriously?? Are we supposed to guess what their routing number is?? We made the payment of $750 to his account that morning. We paid $20 extra with our bank to have this applied to his account immediately. By the time Tyson got around to checking his account, he had instructed his driver to leave the area, and DO NOT deliver our customers vehicle. Another long conversation with Tyson resulted in more obnoxious, egotistical attitude from Tyson only to have him tell us that there will now be a $150 redelivery fee, and he will NOT deliver until he sees that money! Again, knowing that the carrier had us over a barrel so to speak, we agreed that if we paid him the additional $150 he would deliver the car on Monday. This was agreed by Tyson in a recorded phone call. Of course on Monday.....no delivery. We spoke to Tyson, and he flat our lied about the conversation we had, and again trying to reverse the conversation back to the beginning that it was all our fault for changing payment methods during transport. The man has no honor!! Now he tells us it might be Thursday because he has no truck going north at this time. Thursday........no delivery. Tyson now tells us it might be Sunday because his truck broke down!
After all is said and done....it took this pitiful excuse of a carrier 13 days to deliver a car on a 3 day route, and extorted $150 extra from us.
I strongly urge anyone, broker or customer who is even considering using this carrier to NOT! read more
