Saw the sign for the $7.77 lunch special and decided why not try it and see if their food is any good. I go inside and ask to try the pub burger and they say they have no food until 2 or 3 pm. I ask them then why they have a sign outside and they say "Oh, that sign has been there for three months but we don't have any food." When she saw that I wasn't overly pleased with that reaction she then put out her hands in a defensive motion and told me that she would give me a free soda which I found pretty insulting. I've been coming here to watch Niners games since 2011 and even though the previous owner sold it to PT,s and all the memorabilia was taken down, Niner fans still come on game days. I would imagine that football season is probably the most business they get all year round, but what do I know. What I do know is that if you DON'T come with expectations of great service and food,you won't be disappointed. I came at the start of the 1st quarter, didn't get my order in until midway through the 1st and my 5-piece chicken wings didn't arrive until the end of the 3rd quarter. I've been coming here for 4 weeks in a row. I heard it was a 49er watching bar and restaurant. The game is always on almost all of the TVs so that's a selling point for me. The servers are really nice but I notice that they may be understaffed as the food orders take a while to reach the table. I wonder if they could add a server or cook to expedite the orders. The food quality is not very good. The only good thing that I've had on the menu is the chicken wings. Those are good but everything else I've ordered has been pretty bad. Will I come back? I'm sure I will, especially for 49er games and wings but that about it. In fact next week I'll be watching the game from home and the following week I'll look for an alternative location to watch the game and get better food. read more

I will give a low review feeling really disappointed! I just had fish and chips the other day from PT's and it was amazing. It was cooked to perfection so when my husband asked me what I wanted from where he was going today, I said I would like fish and chips then he handed it to me and I eat into it and it's raw inside the dough is gooey inside still. read more

I drop into Luckys often and have never been denied HH prices. And have never ever heard John tell someone to Eff off. And I've seen him in some hard situations. So I'm also writing this in defense of a 1 star review. He always helps and is selling to ensure those who ask for drinks during HH are charged accordingly. I mslef have asked for a beer or shot at the last minute and he makes it happen. Sorry that some patrons are not congenial...but one of the most fair bartenders here is John. But there's been multiple occurrences where I've rang the bell late night hours after work and waited 15-25 minutes before John answers the door and sounds annoyed guests are there. Drinks are slow and he seems annoyed to serve. Wish Owen was working more often. Sad to see. read more

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. John is by far one of the rudest and most unwelcoming bartenders I've ever encountered. Every time we visit, we're left outside for an unreasonable amount of time--even when it's clear someone is inside. And when we do get in, he often disappears into the bathroom for long stretches, leaving us and others waiting with no explanation. He's consistently rude, passive-aggressive, and seems to go out of his way to make the experience unpleasant. We usually come during happy hour, but conveniently, right before it ends, John always vanishes so we can't place any last orders--clearly intentional. He also accused us of being friends with someone named Savannah who apparently left a bad review, but none of us even know a Savannah. If other people are leaving similar reviews, that just proves we're not the only ones having these issues. One time, we waited outside knocking for 15 minutes, only for him to accuse us of being intoxicated when we finally got in--completely uncalled for and unprofessional. If you're looking to enjoy a relaxed time with friends, I'd suggest going somewhere else. Someone with this attitude should not be working in customer service. read more

Unfortunately, our experience at this bar was soured by the bartender, John. We ordered our last round of drinks during clearly posted happy hour times, yet he rang them up at full price. When we brought it up, there was no explanation, apology, or correction--just indifference. Even worse, John's overall demeanor was cold and unwelcoming. He seemed visibly annoyed to be serving customers, offering no hospitality or friendliness. It felt like we were a burden just by being there. There's no shortage of bars in the area with better service and staff who actually care about the customer experience. Sadly, John's attitude made it easy to decide not to come back. This is our first time trying Lucky's, unfortunately, it wasn't what we were looking for. The initial service was good. We got our drinks kind of fast, but the atmosphere was very loud. We went in around dinner time. We were the only table eating dinner at the time and there was just a very loud group of people at the bar which made our visit very unpleasant. The food took a long time too, and it wasn't the best. It's unfortunate. read more

Lucky's is a pretty standard neighborhood watering hole that I used to frequent somewhat regularly. The happy hour was great, the food was pretty good, but the atmosphere was fun and the staff was friendly. However, things have changed in the past few months. First, they got rid of their great happy hour. The food and drinks were no longer as reasonably priced, and the place was a ghost town. Second, the food has become just average. They took a lot off the menu, on my last visit the chicken fingers and fries I got were just straight out of a Costco freezer bag and it showed. I'm still giving Lucky's Lounge 2 stars because the atmosphere is still fun, and the staff is still friendly and I'm hoping they bring back the awesome happy hour they used to have. read more

So about my experience here...can someone call 1-800- UNDERWHELMING? Let's start with some positives: Exterior and interior all appear to be very clean well-maintained and up to today's standards. There's spacious dining areas and plenty of places to sit at the bar. There are definitely ample TVs so no matter where you're sitting you'll be able to catch a glimpse of what's on. They primarily play VGK games which is a huge plus! I went for a hockey game & dinner. The menu was disappointing. There were very few options and the options they had you can find anywhere. Nothing at all stood out. I ordered the wings- and get this 12 wings cost $18 how comically and unnecessarily expensive. The wings were a touch below mediocre, the side of bleu cheese was tiny and barely enough for 6 wings let alone 12. No flavor and blah. Domino's has better wings. Worst $18 i spent. The bartender had the personality of an eggplant, and her hair was about the same color as one. She wore the ugliest floral pants I've ever had the displeasure of noticing- but thats not important really. Just a candid observation. The machines had me thinking the joint should be renamed "Unlucky's"....I pissed away a few hundred bucks in their machines in no time flat. When leaving the awesome bartender said she "took care of" several drinks......um ok...where? Here's what i concluded from looking at my bill: #1- Had a few drinks during Happy hour, only 1 was charged HH price #2 Every drink we had was on the bill (wheres the comp for my play? My play certainly qualified for drink comps) #3 Any other bar i've gambled at actually DID comp my drinks while i nuked away cash. So I've never eaten here, however have heard customers complaining that the food wasn't done right. Tonight I heard the bartender correct the food by checking it was done right. Then double checked her ticket to make sure she had put it in correctly. I wish I had gotten the same service at this bar. It's been spotty. I've only checked in a few times. However, I've been there probably a dozen times! The first time I went in it was the dark haired girl that was working. She did okay, but the service was very slow. I get it, I'm at this point a random person, walking into a local bar with regular clients. I caught the tail end of the Knights game. I get how the price can change, once the game is over. Next time was the girl with Red hair. Service was very bad to where she had to comp me a drink for forgetting about me. The next I went in, it was the Dark Haired girl again. I asked for my bill, it was $8.75. I gave her my card, and I was suddenly billed for $13.75. I asked why it, changed and the girl said, she forgot to ring one in. Between the 2 girls that work there the service has been horrible. I went in on Sunday, it was a tall guy behind the bar. He had his hair wrapped up, long hair. Best service I've gotten there! I went back tonight to watch the Knights play. I may as well not have been there. The bartender neglected me all night. It was the Red Haired girl. I sat there for a few hours, most of the time my glass was empty. I was treated like a burden when ordering drinks. Being pretty doesn't make you a good bartender! As far as the ambiance, I'm normally crammed in a corner spot at the L shaped section. I finally found a spot in an area I didn't feel so crammed and overwhelmed. Ashley server/bartender is terrible at her job. Sat down and was looking at the football menu with food and drink specials. She ask what we want to drink and i tell her to give us more time because we're looking at menu and she gets snooty. After that she never served us till we had to flag her down or go to bar to get our drinks. This place used to be great and would get packed for gamedays but has gone way down hill. Had a hankering for the game of pool so called this bar close to my home in advance to check that they had pool tables. They answered and indeed had pool tables- two in fact! My husband and I planned a quick date night to visit luckies to play pool with a few cocktails. When we arrived Michelle made our drinks and was SUPER sweet- I sing my praises to her for great customer service. We ended up heading over to the pool tables where we were stopped by the regional manager named Tish, who told us that there was a fantasy football league going on, that she would rather us not interrupt... after we had already paid to use the pool table she had offered us a shot instead to not play pool, and rather sit at the bar for 30 minutes until fantasy football ended .... an hour goes by and fantasy football is still going on... my husband approaches Tish and asks her if we can now play pool (one of the few reasons we came to this bar) and she says no. when he then asked her how long it will take, she becomes irate and asked him to leave the bar so we don't interrupt her fantasy football league. Apparently questioning, the rules around the pool tables during fantasy a football game is a huge no no.... The manager was extremely rude and confrontational thereafter. I want to emphasize that Michelle & fellow bar tender (who apologized for telling us over the phone that pool tables were open) were extremely professional and polite. Unfortunately it seems that Tish values her regular fantasy football patrons more than anyone else in location, resulting in us leaving the location earlier than anticipated. I would highly recommend a different bar if you are a fist time customer. As a professional in customer service, I recommend moving the pool tables if the clicking of pool balls is an end, all be all for this bar (can we really not deal with the clicking for pool balls during fantasy league game????) as somebody who is less than 1 mile away And likely would've become a regular customer... I highly recommend the WHSKY bar close by or the local distill bar versus this establishment. I thought the happy hour was cool here and it would become a regular location for me but Tish has taught me itverwuseEmphasis on the great service provided by the bartenders, but unfortunately, the management staff just did not lead with any type of understanding or empathy. read more

If you're looking for a bar to cheer on the SF 49ers in the south west you've found it right here at Lucky's Lounge. It's located at the SW corner of Warm Springs and Jones and has a big sign up in the front. This does happen in Vegas I know of some businesses but not so often. So far I've always enjoyed their food every time.
