Some Saratoga friends speak well of Lucky Wok so I decided to try it when I was in the area. I judge Americanized Chinese restaurants by their hot & sour soup and this was a real outlier: red in color due to lack of soy sauce and I didn't taste any sesame oil either. Would not order again. I had the lunch special of triple delight (3 different proteins) on fried rice. Portion was generous, proteins were good, but veggies very overcooked. A bonus: they're very good with the COVID precautions. You order through a window, the person who takes your money is wearing gloves, and when your order is done they place it on a counter. Zero contact. In short, nothing more or less than A-OK. I'd stop here again if I was in the area and jonesing for Chinese takeout but would not make a special trip. read more

Ordered two lunch specials . Decent size plus came with a side . We both got wonton soup . General Tso chicken for the main and rice . I ordered extra crispy but it wasn't . Everything in my order was spoiled the rice smelt the meat smelled. you know when things are off right shouldn't be tardy. The vegetables were spoiled.. the meat smelled like it was raw. That's how you know how spoiled it was. If you've ever smelled raw meat, that's how my ribs smelled from this place. Ordered online because they don't except debit or credit cards. OnLive said pick up in 10 -15 minutes got there in 20 minutes was told it wasn't ready for another 10 -15 minutes. Our previous experience was so much better than our most recent experience. This time, the wonton soup was of very poor quality. Every other noodle tasted different. The dough would be cooked on one and raw on the next. But, the broth was good. Unfortunately nobody wanted to eat it without the wonton. The dumplings, steamed, were good. Again, not as good as the last time. The lo mein, House, was pretty tasty. At times, you would get a piece of meat, I'm guessing it was chicken, that you would say "hmm, that was different." It was more a texture and consistency issue, definitely not a bad as in spoiled issue. We also tried Szechuan chicken that was to come with rice and you had the opportunity to order fried rice. We had to pay extra for the fried rice, which we did because we got chicken fried rice, but never received the white rice. I thought that was odd because they charge you more for a pint of fried rice but don't tell you they're not giving you the white rice. The Szechuan chicken itself, was spicy like it should be, but very greasy. The container was crushed and the sauce was leaking out prior to receiving it. Unfortunately, it was on the bottom of the bag. Other Asian restaurants who utilize delivery, often put A layer of corrugated cardboard between heavier dishes, to prevent the lids from becoming crushed. Let's talk delivery, I get a phone call telling me my food is outside my door. I thanked the driver, hung up the phone, walked through my house and down a flight of stairs to open my front door only to find nothing! So, I called back the number on my phone, they answer with "hello," I greet them and respond "my food is not outside my door." Only to receive the response, "I'm not there yet." And then I see a car slowly driving down the road, with what looks like someone attempting to find something." He sees me, standing in front of my open door in the exterior light with a phone to my ear and I hear the driver on the phone say "is that you waiting for me?" I acknowledged. He then drove up my driveway and Handed me my food. I felt bad, because he had his mask on but I did not because I was expecting "contactless delivery" as advertised. I certainly hope I didn't offend him. My lesson learned, always wear your mask. read more

Awful customer service I ask for hot sauce with my order no sauce in the bag. Only cash accepting with an ATM out of order in there store. I had to drive else where to get cash, I ordered broccoli garlic sauce barely spicy and very little broccoli mostly white rice, the egg rolls tasted like they may have been going bad. I am giving this place 0 stars, one we got chicken and broccoli (tasted like water) and it had about 4 pieces of broccoli. Two we got a large and couldn't barely feed 2 people, and it was flavorless !! They gave us 2 duck sauces .. with 4 egg rolls ?? Doesn't add up.. We ordered 5$ worth of shrimp and got 4 shrimp !! The lady, when we called, literally said "one dollar, one shrimp" ok WE GOT 4 !! Was driving out of our home and owner of Luck Wok honked his horn because he wanted me to move out of his way. Then he called me a MF for no reason. So, we kept on driving and this man kept screaming profanities at us. I called the cops because he acted like he was Bruce Lee! We used to order from this place and it was closer to us. But now we order from New China and the have the best food here, best Crab Rangoon and my order gets here in 20 mins or less and the tastes beats Luck Wok! Thank you Lucky Wok! read more

My Grandmother and I live on Goose Hill within mile of Lucky Wok. Grandmother always gets delievered and has never had issue. I pick up and never an issue. Very nice family runs!! I have to say I have been ordering from this restaurant weekly for over 20 something years - since they initially opened. It was always good reliable traditional tasting food delivered fast and fresh... It WAS. Now.. I don't think I will be ordering from them again I wish I could go in there and say what the hell is going on? Everything I loved about their food has changed drastically from the wonton soup which is a favorite since I was a kid because it was so rich flavorful and awesome. Now its tasteless with tiny hard wonton even the best noodles could not save. The meat in entrees is hard to identify as it is mushy or rubbery globs vegetables are not fully cooked. There is no consistency to any sauces, no seasoning, no effort. There is not one thing that tastes the same as it did even a year ago. Everything fried seems to be overcooked and tough as hell - free or not eggrolls should not be wrapped in rawhide! I am sure they are losing many customers over the change in their quality of food - I do hope one of them reads yelp reviews! It really saddens me to lose one of the best chinese places I have known in my life but - I work too hard for my money to throw it away on food that only fills up the trash can. read more

This is the worst restaurant that I have been customer. the food always terrible, nothing taste good. I order lunch many times, not because I like this place but there is no choice that I can get Asian food ( Chinese food) close to where I work so I don't have much time to drive to get lunch so I try to get over it and just eat that food it better than nothing. People there are so rude, I order white rice give me fried rice that not one or two times. it's many time let's say 8/10 they give me wrong thing and now I think they do it on purpose because they try to get rid of them old fried rice from previous day left over so they don't have to throw it away. so much to say for this place, all my coworker experience same thing from them bad food and services. now we found new place that little farter to drive New China restaurant but I would drive little farter to this place than dealing with Lucky Wok ( Terrible Wok). from now on a lot of people where I work will be going to New China.
