For some unknown reason, the restaurant entirely changed the way the dish is prepared. The chicken pieces are now breaded and dry with very little--if any--of the Bourbon sauce. The first time we received this "new" recipe, we honestly thought perhaps our order got mixed up. But when the second and third orders continued to have this disappointing new (but definitely NOT improved) version, it was clear our old favorite was altered beyond recognition! I can't pretend to know how popular the old preparation was with the public at large, but it was a HUGE favorite with every single member of our family! This new version--NOT AT ALL! It's especially disappointing because we Carrollton area residents don't exactly have an abundance of restaurant options to choose between in the first place, so knocking one off the list is pretty disastrous.
