From the very beginning of the message, I felt uncomfortable with the masseur (I never got his name). He: * leaned his body against mine way too much, forcing me to slide over to the other side of the massage table to avoid him. He either did not understand what I told him in English, or he feigned not understanding. * completely removed the towel covering my butt, and although I replaced it twice, he removed it twice more. * slide his hand across my privates. At that point, I stopped him and warned him to be careful, and to keep his hand away from my privates, and he said, "ok." A few minutes later, he repeated this on my other leg. I then stopped the massage, told him to leave, and went to the front desk to report him. I told the receptionist that they were both lucky I didn't call the sex crimes unit to report a sexual assault. The receptionist defended the masseur, saying there had never been a complaint against him. Later that day I reported the incident to the 78th Precinct, and Officer McCarthy filed a "forcible touching" complaint. UPDATE: The manager, Amy, later texted me and offered me a $100 bribe to take down this review. I refused. Has anyone else suffered inappropriate behavior/sexual assault by the masseuses and masseurs at Qi Gong? If so, please report these on their Yelp page to warn other potential customers. The foot massages were so good that we decided to stay for full body massages too (I think there was a combo). Usually when I go to Chinese massage places in northern NJ, it's really a hit or miss and a lot of the times I'm not 100% sure that the person massaging me knows what they're doing, or how much pain they're causing me. Here, every movement seemed to be calculated and effective. The guy massaging me seemed to be in tune with how much pressure my body needed. I never had to say a word. We walked out very refreshed. The only thing I didn't enjoy (my boyfriend agrees) was that the hole for your mouth/nose in the massage bed was very small and it was pretty uncomfortable to be pressed against it. I had some mild bruising under my chin afterwards lol. This is not a luxurious place with private rooms and you can hear other clientele coming and going. The prices were more than fair and I would definitely come again. Bring cash to avoid the credit card fee.

Personally for me for the body massage he was a little too strong. He used a lot of elbows and each time he did that I had asked him to go softer as it hurt me too much. Someone who likes extremely deep pressure would be happy. When he used his actual hands everything was perfect. There was also a lot of rubbing over the sheet which I'm not used to. I didn't realize until I was done that all body massages are done face down with Covid going on. I understand safety precautions but if I would've known this ahead of time I definitely would not have not gotten the 60 minutes as it is too long to be face down with a mask on. The reflexology was so relaxing. I did a half hour the pressure was perfect. I almost fell asleep at that point. They also had a plastic barrier between you and the therapist. Would come back for the reflexology. Update: i originally gave 4 stars. I had to change it. my back is so sore i couldn't even sleep on it. I feel like I am bruised all under my skin. The rooms are only semi-private; there is a divider between the rooms (not four walls) so you can hear some chatter. But since I was one of the only clients, it was rather a relaxing experience.
