Alley Spa is adorable. My room had a mantle for my smaller belongings, with cute decorations, and it seemed so welcoming. The whole spa seemed more relaxed than Moonlight, and the woman working the desk opined that they were slow. I asked her why the woman at Moonlight didn't refer me to them, since it's the same owner? She seemed confused too. Next time I'll skip Moonlight and go to Alley Spa. It seemed less of an assembly line, and I appreciated the decorative touches.

They offer foot reflexology, deep tissue massages as well as body work massages which are just lighter force than deep tissue, they offer cupping for an additional $20 as well as hot stones for FREE. The massage was great, it was actually a little to forceful for me in the beginning and I asked for it to be a little lighter and it became right to my liking. This was my third time ever getting a massage and I think my body just isn't use to this type of movement. During my massage, she worked every single part of my body. Back, lower back, legs, feet, buttocks, arms, neck, ears, and literally head scratches, it was insane. I didn't book a full body and thought she would only be working on my back. It was great. Now to both pros and cons. For the pros: The massage was great, they started right on time with my appointment, it was easy to book online, I think they have great prices and also they don't charge taxes, the amount due is right on the money as it says. I was able to make an appointment for myself and my husband a day prior - it was a weekday, so I figured they'd have availability. I wasn't expecting them to have a room for couples, but when we arrived, they brought us right to a room with dual massage tables. We were a little early, so they got started with us early - very efficient. The hot stones felt great on my back. The reason I'm knocking them a star is the noise level. We heard a lot of background noise: the spa's phone ringing, employees talking and moving about. However, my last visit in mid-April 2018 was a very bad experience because of an issue with the cleanliness of the sheets. Little did I know that I had been infected with tiny, microscopic mites, which showed up a few weeks later as red bumps and itching that was severe and relentless--like nothing I had ever before experienced. The red bumps started on my wrists and legs, and then started to move up. My doctor made the diagnosis as scabies, with treatment of permethrin. It took weeks to clear up, and I never been more mortified. I also infected my husband, as scabies is highly contagious. I will never go to Healthy Way again, and anyone who was there in mid-April of 2018 was also infected.
