I find them to be more effective for treating my severe back/neck issues. After waking up in pain this morning I feel very lucky to have found this place, because now after 90 minutes, I feel great! My therapist Julie was very efficient and didn't miss a spot. She asked me in the beginning if I preferred strong or medium pressure, and although she was a tiny woman, she delivered a powerful (strong) massage, just the way I like it! I also met Jennifer up at the front, which was so kind and pleasant, it was a nice ending to a wonderful treatment! I was pleased that as I left they gave me a stamp card to work towards a free treatment, and joyfully invited me back! Getting service like this is priceless, now add to that the fact that the cost of their treatments is so reasonable.....this place definitely shouldn't be missed!

I like that you can text to make your appointment; I was able to do that the evening before and got the time I wanted! It's definitely a no frills spot - practical set up, minimal decor, and clean but basic. You don't really get the full "zen" experience but the masseuse was strong and targeted my pressure points. I didn't like that they basically got started without asking me which areas to focus on or for my preferred pressure. I had to proactively tell them and even then, the majority of the time spent on the massage wasn't on my target areas mentioned. The other masseuse was talking quite a bit and pretty loudly which took away from the experience. They should be more mindful of that considering most people get a massage as a form of relaxation. Nonetheless, I certainly felt more loose, relaxed, and slight tenderness after which I took as a good sign. We paid in cash to avoid taxes & fees, and there was a strong expectation for a tip which I had also read from other reviews. Decent spot but there's definitely better ones I'd rather go to!

This afternoon I popped into Moonlight and inquired if they had any availability from 5 pm on. I was told they were fully booked. On a whim, I called Alley Spa, despite surmising that, as they are run by the same people, they too were included in the "fully booked" equation. Nope, I called at 5:30 pm and got a 6:15 appt. Alley Spa is adorable. My room had a mantle for my smaller belongings, with cute decorations, and it seemed so welcoming. The whole spa seemed more relaxed than Moonlight, and the woman working the desk opined that they were slow. I asked her why the woman at Moonlight didn't refer me to them, since it's the same owner? She seemed confused too. Next time I'll skip Moonlight and go to Alley Spa. It seemed less of an assembly line, and I appreciated the decorative touches.

The owner was surprisingly not there, but everyone deserves time off (hoping the didn't sell, however). My massage therapist was extremely rough and a bit messy. She banged into something and clearly got hurt. She insisted she was fine, however left the room and someone else continued massaging me without any explanation. I later realized this to be the front desk person! She continued to talk to whoever was now covering the desk for her. This was extremely loud and rude! Then she leaves and yet a third person comes to finish my massage. Again, no explanation or apologies! I always tip generous but gave so much less considering this bad experience. I was not pleasant at all on the way out. Hope they got the hint and that this doesn't happen again.

The massage technique was serious business, and when my masseuse found knots that I didn't know existed, I knew I was in good hands. I paid $60 for 60 minutes, went with my fiancée, and once the appointment started, my masseuse went straight to work on my back. Would definitely recommend for anyone who wants to get out some knots or for recovery. Great service!

I was whispering to myself that I was literally going to make a review of this place while I was…read moregetting my massage done. I got a deep tissue massage for 90 mins for $100. They offer foot reflexology, deep tissue massages as well as body work massages which are just lighter force than deep tissue, they offer cupping for an additional $20 as well as hot stones for FREE. The massage was great, it was actually a little to forceful for me in the beginning and I asked for it to be a little lighter and it became right to my liking. This was my third time ever getting a massage and I think my body just isn't use to this type of movement. During my massage, she worked every single part of my body. Back, lower back, legs, feet, buttocks, arms, neck, ears, and literally head scratches, it was insane. I didn't book a full body and thought she would only be working on my back. It was great. Now to both pros and cons. For the pros: The massage was great, they started right on time with my appointment, it was easy to book online, I think they have great prices and also they don't charge taxes, the amount due is right on the money as it says. Oh, and just because I seen this with a lot of other business, I didn't feel the pressure of tipping or needing to tip more than I did (but I did ofc). The hot stones felt so amazing (if you have never tried you def should) and my back is pretty sensitive to heat so what she does is actually rub your body with hot oil first that's similar to the same amount of heat of the stones, then incorporates the stones as your skin adjust to the temperate. For the cons: The room is extremely tiny, when I walked in I was wondering to myself how in the world is anybody going to fit in this room with me, at first it felt a little hot, although there is a fan in the room with you, and the music is played on her phone, which is she needs to use it the music will shut off but that's very small detail. She did leave the room once to attend to someone else, but tbh it's a business and I had no problem with that at all. We actually started just a few moments after I arrived and she did make up for that in the allotted time. I was reading from some other reviews that they were conducting your massage time from the time that you arrived, not the time that you actually started getting your massage, but that didn't happen with me. Also, I have to mention as someone who doesn't enjoy pets, they do have a small dog, but it doesn't bother you and I only saw it once I was leaving. I would def go back to this place. It was your everyday or weekly massage place, not a place if your looking for a luxurious experience.

The service was provided in a very timely manner. I wasn't rushed and I feel like this is a place I would like to come back to. Preferably on an off day or on a day of celebration. I don't mind tipping, but I would have rathered they charged me the extra ten dollars when the masseuse gave me my massage. On top of that recommendations over what my exercise routine should be were unwarranted. If I want a personal trainer. I can hire one from around the way. These are the only things that held me back from giving this place a full five stars. All in all the positives are as listed: ·Reasonable prices ·Good non rushed service ·Kind and direct masseuses ·Friendly atmosphere ·Convenient location The Negatives ·10 dollar tip demanded ·Unwarranted advice on exercising

However, my last visit in mid-April 2018 was a very bad experience because of an issue with the cleanliness of the sheets. The red bumps started on my wrists and legs, and then started to move up. My doctor made the diagnosis as scabies, with treatment of permethrin. I've…read moregotten massages at several other places in the square mile, but none were ever quite this affordable. Moonlight is a no-frills establishment. They don't have you fill out a health questionnaire when you arrive. There's no choice of scented oils or aromatherapy in the room. It's not fancy or especially inviting inside. The sheets and blankets on the massage tables are worn. They move very fast to get you in and out. That being said, my $55 hour massage was great , much better than the $200 massage I got at SoJo last year. I was able to make an appointment for myself and my husband a day prior - it was a weekday, so I figured they'd have availability. I wasn't expecting them to have a room for couples, but when we arrived, they brought us right to a room with dual massage tables. We were a little early, so they got started with us early - very efficient. The hot stones felt great on my back. The reason I'm knocking them a star is the noise level. We heard a lot of background noise: the spa's phone ringing, employees talking and moving about. They did have relaxing music playing in the room, but it didn't completely tune out the noise outside the curtain. It didn't take away from my massage experience, though. My expectations for this establishment were met. If you just want to feel good without breaking the bank and are OK without all the pomp and circumstance, this is your place.
