Like really, truly. It was perfect! Chewy and soft, yet somewhat crisp. It was awesome. They always have the their usual or daily slices and then they have a different or monthly one. I tried the corned beef and cabbage. It was tasty and unique! My family tried the dill pickle one, also yummy!! (I tried a bite). We stop by here after bear lake trip. So happy to see that they were open on Sunday. They do individual large slices. My kids told me their pizza was really good. Since I eat only gluten free pizza, I had to get their whole pizza which was fine. I can't comment on their normal pizza but their gluten free crust was terrible. They need to re-work their recipe. My husband and I have been doing "pizza Friday" for eight years, and Lucky Slice's bacon jalapeno cheesebread ranks in my all-time top five. The taste was perfectly balanced between the three elements and was just the right amount of spicy. We ordered to go and our pizza and cheesebread stayed delicious after the drive back to our airbnb. It was so good that we took the leftovers back home to Nevada, and they were equally tasty after being heated in the toaster oven. We have been looking for a pizza place with non dairy cheese and this is the place! We got the Hawaiian pizza with vegan mozzarella and it was delicious. Of course non dairy cheese tastes different but they do such a good job that you actually could not taste a huge difference. Their regular pizzas are even better. If you've been to one of their other locations, this place is virtually the same and just as good. If you have NOT been to a Lucky Slice, you are in for an added treat. There are very few "by the slice" joints in Utah and these guys do it up right. There are rotating, daily specials that are worth trying as well as the big hitters you would expect (meat lovers, cheese, pep, etc). I always try the specials and have yet to be disappointed. It was nice of them to allow us split a large pizza with pepperoni and chicken club. I love the chicken club. There's chicken, bacon, spinach and drizzling with ranch sauce! What more can anyone ask. We also order the large wings (12 pieces) with southern BBQ. The are not the kind with crispy skin, the bbq sauce is sweeter than the usual barbecue sauce. I went to Lucky with my son and wife after moving them in to USU. I felt really old being there. Lucky is most definitely a college hangout place with younger Millennials and Gen Zers in mind. However, that is no reason for Gen Xers to avoid it or even fear it. The Marghie is a take on the traditional Marguerita but if that's what you are craving, this slice will not do it. It is it's own thing and should be appreciated as such. I am a sucker for balsamic vinegar reductions so I thought it was pretty good. My husband had a slice of pepperoni and he thought it was way too salty. We are also fans of Korean food so we shared a slice of bulgogi. It was really good but you know what would make it even better? Some green onions and a little kimchi.
