Lately, I have been frequently Lucky than Safeway. The prices on some items are definitely better here. Service wise, have not had any problem. I would suggest getting the app for the digital coupons and rewards. Plenty of parking

I will say it an average supermarket. Vegetables and fruits, are the first thing I usually check and its not more than OK. There is plenty of parking, which is good and the prices are decent.

Like waiting?

Update, took me almost 40 mins just to get through the register. I can only imagine how bad it will be next week during Christmas

Need to check the bananas . I found something inside of it. It looks really nasty. Need more cantaloupe in the store

lots of parking, the store is clean and its spacious. But, Sale items come 9am Saturday Morning were mostly out of stock. If your unable to access the most basic sale items like Fruit, Paper Products, etc then it makes little sense to frequent a Lucky or Safeway, and instead why not just shop Trader Joe's given they normally stock popular items. Again stocking issues are not unique to this store but seem to be endemic to Safeway & Lucky.

Veggie Sandwich with Lettuce, spinach, tomato, pickles, avocado, red onion and cucumber

5 Stars for Paramjit in the Delhi this morning at 6 am on Friday, May 14th! You rock! I hope a manager from this store see this and recognizes her customer service She has an amazing smile even through her mask! She is so professional, friendly and makes a great sandwich. I ordered a veggie sandwich and most places just give you lettuce, tomatoes and onions, and not very much. She filled it up with all the veggies she had in her basket. Cucumber, Avocado, pickles, spinach, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions! It was so delicious Thank you Paramjit! You are amazing!

Portuguese egg tarts were $3.75/per which is a little expensive imo. We'll be back some day.

Regular HK-style ones are just okay too, nothing standout. Not cheap either (around $3 each these days?), but I guess you're paying for convenience on the Peninsula. That said, it's not bad at all, and when you're in San Bruno/Millbrae and don't feel like driving into SF Chinatown, this is one of the better local options. Not too many solid Chinese bakeries around here, so it fills the gap without being a total letdown. Best egg tarts are still at Golden Gate Bakery in SF Chinatown--no contest. Theirs have that perfect silky, jiggly custard and buttery crust that makes you want to go back immediately. Suzanne's is fine for a quick fix, but if you can make the trip, skip this and head to GG Bakery instead. Solid neighborhood spot if you're lazy like me and want something nearby, but don't expect it to blow your mind.

While the selection seemed a little limited when we were there, everything looked so good that we nearly left with one of everything. My partner doesn't get as enthusiastic as food as I do, but was really into the Mexican Scone. There appeared to be only one woman working when we visited, but she greeted us immediately and offered us large samples before we even began to look at the display case. They also have a coffee bar where you can get a good variety of drinks. I got a caramel latte and it was just the right amount of sweet. Not syrupy or cloying, but with plenty of caramel flavor. The decor is cute, and I was really endeared by the hand-painted cartoon characters on the windows. There isn't much seating, but there's more than I expected, so my partner and I had somewhere to sit while we waited for my latte. Highly recommended for the authenticity and impeccable service.

It's a very tiny spot that's easy to miss, but wow, there are plenty of colorful flowers just outside the front door. We decided to check it out and yes, there's no place to sit inside. Order at the counter for takeout. They have a bit of regular buns as well as pies and other western style buns. They sell whole fruit cakes too. 8-inch round mango cake was $39. Chinese buns prices hovering around $3 were as pricey as the ones found in the South Bay Area/San Jose. Upkeep isn't the best though/more outdated. We purchased a cocktail bun/a mushroom & cheese bun/a ham & cheese/a hot dog bun/and a coconut pineapple bun. The 5-pieces were decent in size, but were stuffed into two paper bags for us which was quite different than what we expected. Buns made the paper bags very oily. We should have asked for a small box or something. They have good selections, but taste is average and doesn't stand out. Whole cakes look tempting though. Cashier needs to smile more. Overall, it's a tiny bakery for convenience. Not bad nor great here. I would look around for better options elsewhere.

They also serve hot food if you're looking for a bite to eat. Interior has some seating inside with a grocery store kind of feeling. No outdoor seating available. Parking is limited to street parking. A few notes: * Not everything in the store is labelled with prices * Hot food was pretty average in my opinion * Price vs value wasn't great in terms of quality of food Onto the hot food: * butter mochi - definitely the best thing we ordered here! Chewy buttery and soft in texture. Don't skip this. * garlic shrimp- this was recommended by the cashier but it was quite lacking in depth of flavor with the primary taste just being garlic. No spice, nothing special to stand out. After a while the sauce gets tiring. Mac salad was prominently peppery but bland in both texture and flavor. * Mochiko chicken - Not bad, crunchy battered chicken. Interior of the chicken was juicy but lacking in that distinct strong sweet savory that mochiko chicken is known for. Again, the mac salad was a letdown. Overall, the food was quite average especially for the price point. I can think of two places in SJ with better Hawaiian food for half the price.

Paris Baguette is a chain bakery that offer coffees, teas and other drinks in addition to a large selection of bakery items and cakes. For bakery items, go grab a tray and tongs, then head over to the clear plexiglass cabinets and start grabbing all the delicious baked goods that your taste buds desire. I would suggest staring with walking along the cabinets to scout out the items first before grabbing a tray and tongs, otherwise you have the tendency to just keep grabbing items that look good on the first pass and then be up with too much. Their cakes look very appealing and tempting to purchase. We just ate dinner and I was too full to try one of their coffee or tea drinks. Paris Baguette is quickly expanding into many cities, so there may be one popping up near you soon. I would like to try more of their items in the future.
