Left: #28 Tiger Roll Right: #29 Rainbow Roll Not pictured: App of Fried Gyoza (dumplings) Dumplings were okay, but I wouldn't order them again. Young man at the window was kind, patient, and very helpful. Also, informed me they have BOGO sushi on Fridays! I've had their hibachi before, it was delicious -- unfortunately, I've never been inside before. Overall, I recommend for the location, price, and certainly would pick this over buffet with sushi down the street!

Every Friday they have a bogo special for their sushi which is amazing, I normally stop by the drive thru also I order my daughter a side of rice which is an amazing portion for a toddler. Will continue to come back any chance I get.

We will not be eating at lucky samurai again. food quality used to be good but timing now takes 30 minutes to get (two bento boxes) food and sushi roll. No help and lack of training & management...(did not offer refund) This restaurant has gone straight to bottom of the gutter

We stopped by here in route to SC. What a pleasant surprise! We had the Tiger Roll, the Spicey Tuna Roll, the Arctic Roll & the Crunchy Roll. All were good & all unique! We also had miso soup & seaweed salad. The atmosphere is very casual. Clean. Quiet. You order at the counter & they bring it too you. Very pleasant staff. We only dealt w/ Anglos. I definitely recommend this place!

Came here for a business luncheon today. After arriving quickly realized this is probably not the best place for that. The food was good and simple. The sushi was really good and had great presentation. Customer service was real friendly. I would return for sure to grab a bite. Pricing was fair as well for the food.

My whole family loves this place. It is a great substitute since Koto shut down. The owners are also very nice and accommodating.

Four Stars Overall I…read morenormally like to know about a Restaurant before going in (Yelp is an Outstanding resource), but was brought here with about 2 minutes warning...lol Pros - Waiter was Outstanding: Friendly and Fast...our table had several special "requests" that were taken care of without a second thought - Food was very good: Hibachi Chicken was a bit salty Cons - Menu was a bit confusing for a First-Timer...I enjoyed what I had, but after looking at the Menu again, I didn't order what I would've preferred. Mind you, I spent a month in Narita, Japan so I'm familiar with Japanese food - Tip Jar at the Counter...I didn't know we'd have a Sever bring us our food and clear the table when I ordered. It came across as an attempt to double-dip the tip. Yes, I tipped our Outstanding Server well - Sweet Carrots...nasty and sweeter than Chocolate Frosted Sugar Bombs (see Calvin and Hobbes if you don't know the reference) Will I come back? Yes, but with a better understanding of my options

My personal favorite at this restaurant is their hibachi chicken with broccoli and white rice…read more Their sauce is amazing to go with the chicken and rice and I've yet to be let down. I've been going to this restaurant since when it was at the N. New Hope Rd. location and always make sure to visit it when I'm nearby. I have never tried their sushi, but I've heard that it's amazing as well, just one more thing for me to add to my list of things to try.

Definitely worth your time!…read more JP's Hoise is conveniently located in a shopping center near Harris Teeter. They have plenty of seating options but I opted for takeout. Ordering was super easy and so was pickup. The staff were all very friendly and it was super easy to just walk in the door and walk right out with the food. No wait at all! The food was really great. I did the sushi and sashimi sampler. I traded the regular tuna in for a spicy tuna roll and it was super tasty. The salad was a little sad and the miso was just fine but the sushi was fresh and on point. I definitely recommend this place for great sushi takeout.

We arrived and went in and were greeted at the hostess stand. The hostess/waitress came to me and I told her that I had a pickup order. She walked to a table in the small dining area to the right of the door, looked at the name on the bag and confirmed it was mine. Then, she went and sat down to continue wrapping utensils or something. I had to go to the table to get my food. When I walked in there was a man sitting at the table with her and he thanked me. I just found it to be poor customer service from the hostess. Maybe that's their process? Anyhoo, the food: We got the mango chicken with steamed rice, chicken fried rice, beef yaki soba, California roll, and steamed edamame. Everything was hot and fresh, and mid. The California roll was poorly constructed as you can see it from the pics. I'd eat here again, maybe eating in to see if that changes the overall experience. Not sure it would raise the level of the food, but who knows...sometimes eating in makes a difference.

Last night I ordered the Thai Noodle Soup (Bún Thái). It was delicious. Definitely a different flavor than the other dishes. It was spicy, but not hot spicy. I would order it again. Traditionally I get chicken, but to today I decided that the Beef; it was buss'n (per kidz). It was so savory with a hint of cinnamon (least I thought). The richness wasn't expected nor was the freshness of the bean sprouts. I typically hate them but these were fresh and had a great bite. I used them to indulge in the crunch. The noods were square and not round. I thought that was unique as I have traditionally only had round. The Beef wasn't as tender as I'm used to but decent. The broth was the star for me. I really enjoyed the Pho. In addition, I got Goyza which was savory and indulgent. They were a tad overcooked but I like the texture of the bite it creates. The Eggrolls were a disappointment. They had absolutely no flavor but we're cooked beautifully. Nice light fry and not over cooked. The dipping sauce was too gelatinous for me. I would definitely give them a try. Its a small Cafe so don't expect mom and pop as I did. Its more fast-food style. My waitress (Kim) was efficient and sweet. She managed the front house, waited tables and busted tables so if it's busy give her grace.

Woah, I ordered the Special Pho and couldn't believe how flavorful the broth was! It was served with sprouts, cilantro, basil, hoisin and siracha but I didn't need to add anything to it. It was around $12 and portions were huge, at least 2 meals. We ordered the deep see sushi roll as well. It was good too. I didn't not read the entire description and was surprised to see the minced fish and that it was fried on the outside. The tuna and salmon were fresh and tasteful. The kids got chicken nuggets with some fried rice. Again, high quality nuggets, crispy and juicy. If you are in the North Belmont area, I recommend this restaurant! You will be pleasantly surprised

The spicy basil chicken must have had a hidden spice that my body didn't totally like. It tasted good and I didn't taste a lot of heat. I did a to go over. They were fast with preparing. I would probably return to try something else on the menu.
