Starting off with first impressions, I came on a Friday morning right when they opened, so I didn't…read morehave to deal with parking issues or crowds. The girls at the front desk were super sweet and gave me the rundown about the spa's layout and etiquette. Check-in was super simple. You walk in, ask for a day pass, make reservations for additional services if you want (I recommend reserving at least a week earlier to get your preferred time), and they give you your wristband and lounge attire/towel. The women's locker rooms and bath area were pretty clean and very spacious. You don't need to bring very many toiletries, as they have large dispensers of lotion in the locker room area and shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower area. They have hair dryers for use and lots of outlets in the vanity area in case you want to bring other styling tools of your own. I started off with a 30 min Quick Fix Facial and was serviced by Ellie (10/10 recommend). It was super relaxing and we made small talk about skincare based on my concerns. She was super nice and very professional. After I left my skin was glowing! I then headed to the juice bar and got an iced matcha latte (also super good) and relaxed by the lounge area with my laptop before I had my next service. It wasn't too loud, and there's free wifi, so you can get some work done, watch a show, or read a little. Keep in mind the lounge area is an open space connected with the juice bar and food court, so it's not library quiet. That being said, people aren't yelling, and nobody was playing their online media out loud, so it's easy to tune out all the white noise. I then got a 30 min Swedish Massage by Andy, which was more than satisfactory. I was worried about the massage being too rough, but he did everything just right. Only during a few second-long periods did it feel a bit heavier, but I knew he was working out a knot. Even then, it was not bad, and I was glad to know he was being thorough. For lunch, I got a shrimp tempura roll and miso soup, and both were tasty and fresh. I loved the complimentary yoga class, which happens daily from 2-3 PM. Regarding the bathhouse, it's listed on their website that you have to be nude, and plenty of people have talked about that, so I won't bore you with those details. That being said, the varying temperatures are nice, so you can choose based on your comfort. The showers are in the same bath area and are open, just to note, but nobody is really looking at you. You get comfortable pretty quickly once you realize nobody cares and there's a lot of body positivity. Overall, I had a lovely experience. The staff are friendly and help you feel comfortable, and there are plenty of things to do. Definitely recommend staying the whole day. If you want to enjoy all the amenities but are a little wary about the nudity, I suggest coming early when there's less people, and it feels a little more private. I was slightly hesitant to visit the spa based on the mixed reviews I saw online, but ultimately decided to give it a chance. I had never been to a Korean spa, and I live over an hour away, so I was really hoping for a good experience. That being said, I'm very happy I decided to come and look forward to coming back.

This was my first time at a spa like this and I really enjoyed it. If you're confused about how it…read moreworks, basically you check in and pay for entrance fee to the facility. They then assign you a small locker for your shoes and then you go inside to the gender specific locker rooms where you have a larger locker. They issue you a uniform that you need to wear while in the common areas so you need to change into that in the locker room. Since the locker rooms are gender specific, all baths within that area require full nudity (I did not participate in those but I heard they were wonderful). Any service like mud bath and scrubs require full nudity and you can sign up online or right inside the locker room. If nudity isn't your thing, there are still plenty of things to do (just no bath stuff). In the common area, all genders intermingle and there are 5 different saunas will all different temperatures and all different themes. They have a sleeping room (which is also used for a nice yoga class), lounge chairs, a common sitting area, a cafe, and a small eatery. You can rent games at the cafe for free and the cafe has a huge menu of both healthy and indulgent treats. You can sign up for different massages, facial, hair, or foot treatments right in the common area. I do suggest signing up for these services online beforehand because they fill up quickly (all services are an extra charge and automatically add an 18% gratuity). We spent about 7 hours here with a group of 7 people and we wish we had more time. I do wish that they had proper showers inside with curtains and/or a changing area for those of us that are a little shy. Staff was friendly and we'll definitely be back. Afternoon got crowded so I would suggest going earlier in the day if you're going on a weekend.

I've been researching lash lifts for a while, and after searching Google I found this salon because…read morethey offered a Groupon. Looking back, that should have been my first red flag--the Groupon only saved about $15 compared to the salon's regular price, but I didn't think much of it. My second red flag was when I arrived and noticed the technician wasn't wearing gloves. During the service, my eyes were burning while I listened to the timer go off multiple times. I was left alone for so long that I had to repeatedly call out, "Miss?" and "Excuse me?" before someone finally came back. I normally tint my own brows, so I wasn't planning on adding that service. However, I decided to treat myself since it had been a long time, and I agreed to a brow tint and dye. Unfortunately, the results were awful. My brows looked blocky, overly dark, and completely unnatural. I specifically asked several times if they would look natural, and although I was told the dye would stay on for 15 minutes, I became concerned and asked her to remove it after about seven minutes because I felt it was already getting too dark. My concerns were valid. After seeing how the tint turned out, I agreed to have my brows waxed--not because I needed a wax, but because the tint had been applied unevenly, without any real mapping or attention to shape. Unfortunately, that only made things worse. During the wax, my skin was burned, wax got into my eyebrow, and the technician had to ask another employee what she should do. As for my lashes, they're stiff, crunchy, and overprocessed. Even worse, the entire outer third of one eye was missed. The technician told me those lashes had been "stuck under the pad" and that she noticed it. If it was noticed during the service, I don't understand why it wasn't corrected before continuing. To make matters worse, my brows were **tinted and dyed before being waxed**, which can be extremely irritating to freshly waxed skin and isn't the order I would expect. I even questioned the process, but my concern was dismissed. Overall, this was one of the most disappointing beauty experiences I've had. I left with overprocessed lashes, uneven brows, burned skin, and results that looked nothing like what I requested. I cannot recommend this salon for lash lifts, brow services, or waxing.
