My mom and I make bi weekly appointments (they take walk-ins, but if you're looking for someone specific, I'd recommend calling ahead) and they're always very accommodating. Total disappointment! I accidentally ended up at Lucky Nails Spa today, and it was by far one of the worst nail salon experiences I've ever had. The service was unprofessional from beginning to end, and the owner was extremely rude. I went in for a **hard gel (builder gel) refill**. The owner initially quoted me one price, then changed it twice before the service was even finished. That immediately made me uncomfortable. The nail technician, an older gentleman, also misled me. I specifically asked for a refill on my builder gel nails, but instead he used acrylic powder and told me it was "the same thing, just in powder form." It is not the service I requested. To make matters worse, when he applied the gel polish, he flooded my cuticles and left polish all over the skin around my nails. When I pointed it out, instead of fixing it properly, he tried to scrape the polish off with his fingernail, which hurt my fingers. The manicure looked messy before I even left the salon. I now have to pay another nail technician to fix the poor-quality work, making this a complete waste of my money. I would not recommend this salon to anyone looking for quality work, honest pricing, or professional customer service. I needed a pedicure tonight and was looking for a place in the area that was open so I found this and drove quickly. I walked in at 7:03 and asked roe a pedicure while the place had maybe 2 customers inside and 5-6 workers. They close at 8pm. The lady asked if I can come back tomorrow because everybody left. I don't like the fact that you close in 1 hour and still cannot service a customer. Maybe they should change their hours of operation if nobody is willing to work beyond 7. So my friend usually go to this place and never had a bad experience with the lady who usually does her nails her name is Viviane but as me I did. I just left the place, but I came because a friend recommended it, so I gave it a try . I came in , I was greeted and all. When it was time to do my nails Vivianne , the lady who was doing my nails asked what I'm getting and shape. I said "tapered squared " she didn't know what that was and was going back and forth with me and was loud while i was seating in front of her , and kept saying that it s not tapered squared it's just square when i showed her a pic; from there I already know it s not going to be a great experience. I just gave up and told her to do short, square shape I ended up getting reg nail polish so I had to air dried my nails, after 30 mins and so , I came back to her while she started working on someone else and nicely asked :"Is it fully dry, is it done? Can you check ? She then said:" yes it is done, just be careful with them since you got regular nails" I was like , ok I will but is it done? She said yes and thank you have a nice day, so I left. She left my nails my nails with all the white crusty things and didn't even apply oil and I didn't want to make a scene since I was already over it, and went home. So girls! I haven't went to a nail spa in forever but wanted to pamper my pregnant self. It is in the newer plazas near my community so after reading the reviews, I figured I would give it a try. It was a nice place and was well ventilated because it didn't smell like the usual nail salons smothering me with nail polish smells. They used all new products and I watched them open each package for the pedicure. They were all so friendly and the owner, Lucky finished off my polish. If you want to tip, you should know they only do cash tips as you cannot add to the receipt after paying with debit or I will definitely visit here again. read more

I'm a regular customer here and I tip 25-30% every time. I brought in two girls, customers who were very happy with their service. But unfortunately for me they started doing my nails, a few customers come in after me, so without finishing my nails they told me to go into the chair for a pedicure. I go there and an hour has passed nothing done yet. They tell me to go back and finish my nails. I then told the girl I'll just do clear coat cause I've been here for over 2 hours! I wanted a simple design cause I'm going to a wedding. But obviously that's not happening. They're good what they do here but the service lacks. so my pedicure went well... my thoughts i called & asked if someone was available for a pedi, i was told yes to come on in. i got there and had to wait 30 minutes, i almost left but i was finally taken. the girl's name was kim, she was very nice and apologized multiple times for the wait what'd i think overall the massage chair didn't seem to be functioning properly but kim was very kind, checking throughout the pedi that i water was good, confirming what i wanted and gave a decent massage, towels were very hot (felt amazing) polish job was very good i wouldn't say i was blown away but i'm happy with how it went and reasonably priced. i paid $28 for a pedi with regular polish not including my tip. i'll be going again but next time i'll make an appointment read more

I only came here bc my regular nail person at another shop, left. The person who did my nails was the older man. First he was rubbing my skin with the nail file. I told him several times that it was rubbing on my skin and was hurting. He just kinda of hmph'ed and kept on. I normally in any other situation I would walk out BUT I needed my feet done ASAP. So I kept on. Anyways he stopped using the file after I kept moving my feet away. He cut the cuticles good and moved on to the foot file thing and that's where it was just the worst! I didn't even have any callous and he used that thing all over my foot. The top, bottom, sides everywhere. It seemed like he purposely rubbed hard until my skin was raw! Usually when I get dip at other nail salons it lasts forever but here it doesn't last very long. Literally went and got my nails done on a Sunday and the next day the nail broke. When I went to get the nail repaired, the tech complained and did a terrible job. The guy that did my fill in was SO rude. First off, there's only TWO people out of all the workers that know how to do a fill in. One lady is always booked, so I always end up getting the other guy. I've been to him three times, until I started noticing that every time I go to him... my nails chip and the overall quality of my manicure just fades a couple days later. I've been getting my nails done for two years. I planned on going to other salons and doing my research, but with my work schedule...it limits me finding one that can meet the time I can meet. I was D E S P A R A T E to get my nails done, so I ended up resorting to him. He was lazy & rude. I asked him to test the color on my nail (because sometimes the nail colors fade from the sample palette) and he didn't even want to do so. I didn't like the color he was painting on and then he goes "I have no time, I'll charge you double if you want to change the color" ?????? The AUDACITY. No one's ever getting his nails done by him, so he does have time. And charging me double? It was EASY to wipe off the color! I'm willing to pay where credit is due. I work hard for my money. I own a small business and I will MAKE SURE 100% that the customer gets what they want and pay for. Safe to say I will not be coming back! Whoever's reading this, take this as a sign NOT to go here. I've been going here for years and today had the worst service. One of my nails smudged during the drying process under the UV/LED the technician used a different polish to correct the nail, however the color was different. I told her while they started my toes and she advised she would fix it. Once I finished she had another customer in her chair and said I'd have to wait, unfortunately I had another appt. I asked her if she could just please fix the nail so I could go and she said she can't leave her Customer. I've sat in her chair before and she's left me for another customer...so I didn't understand how that was fair. Once she finished she did a quick and terrible job fixing the nail it looked worse than before. I asked her again to fix it properly she then blamed me for smudging it in the first place as though I did it on purpose. I've worked in customer service for over 20 years firstly, do not blame the customer. And secondly, had you fixed it properly the first time we wouldn't have to a second time! I asked her why she would use a different polish to begin with!? She said because it was just one finger, but why risk that nail looking different then all the others!!! I am paying for a service, I am going to voice whether I am unhappy with it!! Then she proceeds to tell me she gave me a discount. I just spent $90 at your salon. I was looking for a new nail place conveniently located near my home and I found Lucky nails spa. Luckily for me I was able to be seen right away as I went on a weekday (Wednesday) around 2pm. I received a full dip removal and set along with a pedicure. I didn't ask for anything special but was charged in my opinion a lot. ($78) Nevermind the price, it wasn't great for that price. The guy cut my toe cuticle too. The shape of the nail was just bad and when I asked if I could choose 5 colors he looked at me like I was crazy. I figured it was just my first time so I'll still give them an opportunity. I made an appt for my daughter and they took some before her even though she had an appt we sat and waited for 30 mins with an appt and in the end another nail tech cut her cuticles to where she bled. Just the next day I had to return because one of the nails chipped. I called ahead of time to inform them and they said ok come in, the guy that took me looked annoyed and bothered. He shaped it ok, better than the previous guy but rushed me to the point that my gel top coat polish didn't dry correctly so now I have wrinkles on the nail. Today, I'm barely doing light housework and I chip another nail and look at my other nails and see that another 2 have cracks running through them. I think I should go back to fix them or get a refund but instead of having to deal again with them, I'd rather just write this review. Thumbs down read more

Very disappointed in regards to this place : I'm actually a regular client here! Mind you I said client and not customer. Customer is know to come and go! Client is one that comes here constantly!!!! Let start off by saying they treated me today very poorly couldn't explain how poor. The moment I got there I only waited for 15-20min when they open at 10am and I was her 10:06pm. Which is not bad !! My lady that does my nails was completely booked so I decided to go to someone else . In the same place . Super rude ! The seemingly younger guy that does the full set gel/acrylic, is very rude. He pushed my hand and fingers throughout the whole process. He gave me a bad eye when I didn't fix my hand right. Didn't pay attention to detail. Focused on record breaking speed to complete the work so that he could get another customer. Nail techs just need to do better! So cute and clean! I went there for the first time today and I'm so happy with how my nails came out. I did the dip polish with Andy and he was awesome. Spent 3.5 hours here to get my hands and feet done because the poor lady that was doing my feet didn't know what she was doing. She had gotten red gel polish all over my toes and they had to cut my cuticles in order to get the red off my skin. Very bad experience. I'm so lucky I found Lucky. I had been with her at a salon in Miramar west and by coincidence I bumped into Ally who also used to work there and told me that Lucky had opened her own nail salon. The location is a bit further for me but it's worth the drive. The salon is super cute, modern/industrial look. Comfortable chairs, and very clean. There is a great selection of nail polishes and they are well displayed . Lucky has always been so attentive with her customers and that is why I know she will be very successful. Lucky is great at mani and pedi but let me also mention how awesome ALLY is as well. I got my nails done yesterday at a place I started to frequent. Less than 24hrs later my gel polish came off. I didn't want to drive all the way back to the shop that originally did my nails but I have an important event tomorrow. I stumbled upon Lucky via yelp. I was so pleased with my experience. I have been going to lucky for years now. Her salon is everything ! As soon as you walk the entire salon is beautiful, modern, and clean. I got my regular gel manicure and pedicure. From what I can see all OPI and Essie nail polish which I prefer, especially since some nail salons use old nail polish. Everything is new and they have all the new colors you could possibly want. Today my grand children and I went into the lucky nails nails salon and Day spa. I have never in my life been in a place where I had to spend money I got so disrespected by the staff in front of my grandchildren the person who was to do my nails told me I'm more than one occasion keep my mouth shut it's only my granddaughter started crying he was unable to do my nails as if that wasn't his job. The the boy The boiling point for me was when he told me that he shouldn't of even bother doing my nails and then another woman that was getting her nails done in the same salon said oh no I would never take that kind of behavior now I had already paid for my granddaughter to get her nails done but immediately at the at that point I had to leave before I felt like things were going to get physical. I would never recommend anyone going to that in establishment.
