I've been coming to Lucky Nail Supply for years, and anytime I have a question, or I need help finding something, the owner is quick to guide me straight to what I'm looking for. The random OPI nail polish I saw on Instagram? Over there. The clear polish for growing nails that comes in a bottle with a tall green top that I don't know the name of? Second aisle in that box. I always buy my nail supplies here for years, the only unfortunate part is that I don't know how to use it myself but it's a great place to start as a beginner. The supplies are cheaper than what you would find at Amazon, however one of the gel uv pens I got here stopped working after one use :( I didn't even bother returning or exchanging because once the product is open it's a done deal. I came here for a merchants honest opinion on the different quality of products they carry. For example I asked questions like "Do you have any other brands that have a color that looks like _______", "What brand would you recommend besides _______" and "How long do they tend to last?". The answered I got were "I'm not sure", "wouldn't be able to tell you". The prices aren't very competitive to those found in online shops. OPI gel $17.99, DND gel and polish duo $8.98. Regular prices that you can find in many places if you do some digging. To my point, I came to the store for customer service. I did not receive much of that, in fact I was watch like a hawk by the girl in the register. If you want to be vigilant you can come by and give us suggestions, tips, ask us questions. Not just watch us the whole time we're there. It's very uncomfortable. I probably won't be back, I'll probably keep buying from online merchants. read more

I went in for gel nail supplies because I was tired of paying professionals to do gel nails on me and it chipping. So I decided to do my own gel nails, I'm not in the nail industry and the only experience I have with doing nails is seeing nail techs do my nails. My mom is obsessed with this place. I honestly witnessed her buying like 14 different glitter polishes and explaining the importance of each shade. I'm cool with owning a few polishes but having the immense amount of options that are offered here make this little gem such a hit. They sell literally every color and brand ranging from gel to lacquer without shortages in variety. The prices are great since you'll notice it's a few bucks cheaper than the larger cosmetic supply stores. There's a bar right next to it if you feel like rewarding yourself after which is a great perk. No matter the color or shade you're searching for, I can guarantee you'll find the match here. I started to do my own nails at home and this place has offered all the tools I've needed that are also used in professional salons. OPI- $5.75, Essie- $5.50. Prices have gone up after reading past reviews but it still beat the $9-11 you would pay if you went online and bought them or in fancy stores. The guy behind the counter was so nice and was so patient considering I bought loads of polish (guilty!) and couldn't make up my mind. He even gave me a sneak peek at the collection coming out early February- made me feel VIP in the middle of bird road (btw, the colors are to die for!) Exceptional service. The staff KNOWS their nail polish. The best selection of OPI and China Glaze outside of Ebay. Dirt cheap. Listen, I wouldn't even bother with Hollywood Nail Supply down the street. The staff there are an abominable bunch of ogres who make it no secret that if you drop dead on their floor, they'll just laugh and drag you out to the sidewalk (probably loot your corpse too). The selection of OPI is very poor. You might save a buck a bottle there but it's not worth it. I'd rather give the extra buck to this smaller, more thoughtful business that's the best thing about Miami for any polish addict. read more

I will never buy nail polish anywhere else! They have a whole wall of colors, Essie, OPI, and China Glaze, all for about half of the salon prices. The owner, is super helpful if you're looking for a specific color, he can help you find it, or let you know when the next shipment comes in. I was there a couple weeks ago, and had just recieved a new collection, which wasn't due out until the end of the month, and they let me take some right out of the box! I'm so happy I decided to check out this little gem - it's great! I've always gone to other nail supply stores in the area but they've seemed sketchy. This was the total opposite! The little shop is difficult to find, even with google maps, but is well worth the effort. It is stocked with literally anything you will ever need to give yourself a professional mani/pedi. It is impeccably organized and clean, which is more than I can say for most beauty suppliers. The owner is an absolute pleasure and really knows his stuff! He is knowledgable on all of the latest trends and is eager to help you find a shade of polish that you'll love. He always let's you know which polishes he just got in and which ones are the most popular at the moment. He even knows where all of the polishes are located exactly, which is impressive because there are so many different colors. In fact, I find most of the colors I am interested in on Pinterest and just take a list of the names to shop. I've never been disappointed.
