Our class was the first class they introduced that to and i'm so glad they did because It is a great added touch to the candle. The location was hard to find for me and the raining didn't make it easy. One thing I love about Candle Land is how gorgeous it is. Very aesthetically pleasing to the senses. They have the melted wax ready for you. You'll have to measure out your scent and amount of wax to use. Once you've placed the wicks, then you'll mix the scent and wax before pouring. After that you'll get to put petals and glitters to your candle and place the wick holders. You'll have to return in about 35 minutes to come pick it up. Overall it was a fun experience. I love the Wallflowers collection as these are fun and unique. They have beautiful candle holders here with lovely candle options. I lied, we actually did buy a nice matte marble finish candle holder at White Barn. See, I'm confused myself. We were able to use a $10 off $30 purchase in combination with our Bath & Body Works purchases. Jordan assisted us throughout our shopping experience and he was absolutely wonderful and helpful. Always checked in on us if we had any questions, which we surely did. My daughter was collecting her birthday freebies items and Bath & Body Works gives you up to $9.95 value item for free with purchase. Basically, we can pick one item up to $9.95 value and can make a $1.95 hand sanitizer purchase and that will suffice for the birthday freebie. She was so helpful in explaining the process, recommending scents to try, and being patient while I smelled literally every fragrance in the place at least twice over. The whole studio is SO cute with their decor, and since it was my birthday (and we were the only ones in the studio--it was a Thursday afternoon), Alex allowed me to pick the music we got to jam out to. The candle making process is truly hands-on at Candle Land, so whatever you make is 100% on you! However Alex was super informative with letting us know which fragrances had mixed reviews from other patrons, and even went so far as to offer a redo if we used a certain fragrance and didn't like it once we mixed it with another. It was so fun mixing the fragrances and finding that perfect balance between the two that I picked! We also got to pick out "toppings" for our candles like different dried flower petals, glitter, and I got a special confetti since it was my birthday that I chose to incorporate throughout my candle. The whole process took just about an hour, and that was with me deliberating over fragrances for a majority of the time. You're able to hang around the area and pick up the candles once they fully set in 45 minutes, or return another day if you can't stay. I love that Candle Land advertises the vessels as refillable, and even offers a discount to return and create a new candle once yours is burned through! It's basically a gift that keeps giving :) Even if you don't return to Candle Land, the vessels are super cute and can be repurposed for a ton of other things.
