Man was rude maybe I would have been happier with a different nail tech who knows first impressions go a long way

Went and had a pedicure on a Monday to have done before I left for Florida in just a few days later. First of all I paid for extra service that should have taken longer then a basic that my sister had my technician was done before my sisters basic pedicure and my feet still felt rough and the polish didn't last a week. The owner is offering 5 dollars off if you give a google review with 5 star review on google. Very disappointed with my experience. read more

My friend and I went to Lucky Nails today for pedicures this afternoon. There were no patrons and only one nail tech. We were not in a hurry at all, but the nail tech seemed to be. It must've taken around 30 minutes for her to do both pedicures. She did not tell us the services available and gave us the bare bones treatment. There was no exfoliation and the massages were quite literally 30 seconds per leg. The polish job was average at best. Then she tried to rush us out the door. It was an impromptu pedicure day for my friend and I so I didn't have my own flip-flops. The tech insisted that I leave in the foam flip-flops. I asked if she was closing. She said they were open for 3 more hours. I practically had to beg to use the nail dryer and repeatedly told her that I did not want to mess up my toes by driving when they weren't completely dry. She finally understood and let me use the dryer. She seemed like a very nice person, but this was one of the most disappointing pedicures that I've ever gotten. Next month we'll go somewhere else. read more

WARNING!!! I went in for a gel fill while visiting family in Rhode Island. I get one every three weeks. First the woman wanted to put acrylic base nails then the gel over it and tells me that since she has to do 2 steps she has to charge me $40. I haven't had power acrylic on my nails since the 90's. I asked her nicely to do just the gel. She was obviously not happy and trim my nails so short they actually hurt. She did one coat of gel and then used the new shellac polish for the next layer. And guess what...she still charged me $40. When I asked her why she said because she had to repair my nails. She didn't repair anything. When I asked her to fix the shape of them she told me she couldn't. This is after she ran my card. I asked her for a partial refund and she couldn't do that. So if you're only looking to hear what she can't do this is the place to go. Stay away! read more

I'm going to give her 3 Stars because she was supper nice but she over charges on her nails she charged me $65 on basic acrylic nails basic gel set definitely going back to my regular nail salon were it's $32 for a basic set she okay but she kind of messed up the gel a little bit read more

I got lucky at Lucky Nails today; I didn't have an appointment but Rose did my hands and feet beautifully! I will be back!

After visiting so many Boston nail salons, I can assure you that this place is fantastic. It's clean, comfortable and has new equipment as well as skilled nail techs. The prices were very reasonable as well - $12 manicure; mani-pedi for $35. read more

One girl and she rushes through it, I felt bad but don't charge the same price as everyone else for a pedicure and be done in 15-20 minutes.

I went to lucky Nails today and was very satisfied. I had a gel manicure since they do not use the Shellac. I actually love the gel! They use the OPI gel only. Excellent product, with many colors to choose from. I also had a pedicure..nice job also. They only problem I had, was the short staff. They really do need to hire more help. All and all..the place is clean and friendly. I am definitely going back. read more

I have never had such a quick manicure in my life. She had me in and out of the chair in 15 mins. And she charged more for a manicure than places that actually take their time. Very disappointed I will not be returning. read more

This place was far below my expectations. Me and my friend were getting our nails done for like a birthday treat. We walked in, and it was completely empty, and we were greeted by a man who was pretty nice . The woman who was going to be doing my nails asked me how I wanted them. And I clearly said pointed tips and black for the color. She starts out by drilling my nails very thin, and ripped off a few of them after not getting the right size. To add to that, after she was done with the cnd powder, when she was buffing the acrylic, she was going way too rough, and filing them round. After they had me sit with my friend to wait to get them painted which I found was a tad unprofessional. After waiting for like 20 minutes, she paints them only on the tip, and then leaves the acrylic showing, and it is still see through. My friend also got black with a pointed tip, as a fill. She ended up getting the same rough treatment when buffed, and hers were also very round, after arguing with them about that she wanted it pointed. The end result was just very uneven, and not close to what we wanted. read more

okay here's the deal. this place is awful. they charge you for everything. they are rude, & unprofessional. I went in for a full set, french, & a pink stripe on each nail.. 89$. no way in hellll its supposed to be that much. they don't tell you anything until your done, even if you ask questions! nevee again!! the woman there is just a b*tch. perfect nails in north kingstown on post rd is the best place to go! read more
