It was honestly the best car buying experience of my life. I received the car a short time after and I couldn't be happier. Thank you Rich for turning my dream car into reality. I wish I could give Apollo Auto in Thousand Oaks zero stars. My sons experience has been incredibly…read morefrustrating, and I feel it's my duty to warn potential buyers to think twice before trusting this dealership. In November 2024, my son, who was inexperienced and in urgent need of a vehicle, purchased a car from Tim, the owner and salesman at Apollo Auto. My son put his trust in Tim, believed he was getting a fair deal. Unfortunately, within less than three months, the car's transmission failed, leaving us stranded. When we reached out to Tim for assistance, he outright refused to help with towing. His only response was to say there was nothing he could do. When I confronted him about selling my son a car with such a critical defect, he offered to check with the previous owner about the warranty on the rebuilt transmission. I was infuriated. Why didn't he ensure there was a warranty prior to selling the vehicle? To add to this ordeal, my son had already experienced brake issues just a couple of months post-purchase. A mechanic informed us that the brakes were in dangerously poor condition when the car was sold, leading me to question Tim's ethics and the dealership's practices. It is unacceptable to sell a vehicle to a first-time buyer without regard for their safety or well-being. This situation has not only left my son feeling betrayed, but it also poses serious concerns for a parent. I am now considering legal action to hold Tim and Apollo Auto accountable for their actions. No one should endure deception from a dealership, especially when it places the safety of loved ones at risk. This is not just a bad purchase; it's a glaring reflection of a lack of integrity and responsibility from this dealership. I strongly urge Apollo Auto to reassess its business practices to prevent future customers from experiencing the same distress. We have been left without a reliable vehicle, which has severely impacted our family's ability to manage school and work. My son is stuck making a $400 monthly payment on a lemon, unable to afford another vehicle due to this terrible experience. After I told Tim I would leave a review if he did not take responsibility, he said he would find a mechanic but would not cover the repair costs. It's sad. that my son's first car buying experience has been a nightmare because of this man's business ethics.

Want to buy a new or used car ?…read more This is the way to go ... The Inside Car Guys made my experience buying a slightly used car was exceptional. One thing I can't stand about buying a car is, once you test drive you're stuck in the sales office getting pressure to buy or lease. Taking a minimum of an hour to two of your time and then you do it all over again as you continue to look. Then all the follow up calls. So much time and energy wasted . Then if you decide to buy, you're in the showroom for hours waiting for the finance guy to draw up the paperwork and then comes the talk about extended warranties. For a one time fee, The Car Guys do EVERYTHING for you . Once you know what car you want to buy they work hard to find the exact make and model, do all the paperwork and email it to you. Purchase, registration etc . You E-Sign the documents, arrange for the financing if you need it, all from the comfort of your own home. No pressure about warranties or extras. And if you do decide to get a warranty it is Half the price than buying it from a dealership . I worked with the Manager Johnny, he was exceptionally knowledgeable and streamlined the process. I had a limited budget for the car I wanted (a slightly used Kia Sportage SX Prestige) he worked tirelessly searching the entire country . Of course I needed to be a bit flexible on a few features but not too many . Not only did he find the exact car I wanted, he found the color I wanted as well . I can't recommend them enough!! Stop wasting your time at car dealerships and hire The Inside Car Guys, you will not be disappointed!

Obviously I couldn't leave my wife stranded without a car, and being as amazing as she is, she took it upon herself to find an SUV that would serve as our family car and within a set budget. Enter Scott and Catalyst Cars. My wife detailed the situation and what she was looking for, and within two days, Scott had a few options for her to test drive and try. She decided on a Chevy Equinox, so Scott went to work. By Sunday, Scott not only checked every box in her needs and wants categories, he over delivered and found her an almost fully loaded Equinox for her under her budget. Better still, he had the car delivered to our house on Monday, walked her through everything of the car and the paperwork, and stayed as long as needed to answer all of her questions. When I came home in the evening and saw that had been accomplished, I was blown away. I have never seen such a diligent and straight forward profrssprofe job as what Scott accomplished with my wife's new family csr, and she is overjoyed with it. And the icing on the cake is that Scott was able to sell our retired Hyindau for double what we were offered as a trade in, and his fee was more than worth the amount of work he put in to fulfilling the need we had. If I could put Scott on retainer, I would, but the next best thing is to always use him as our car sourcing guru and the only source we recommend to everyone we know. Call Scott, use Catalyst Cars for your next buying or leasing experience, he is the best of the best, and I would never rate him anything but 5 stars!!
