We made a reservation for their Turkish breakfast on Sunday and it seemed like inside and outside was ramping up in busyness. We were seated almost immediately upon walking into the establishment and got to see a bit from the bar and from outside. I've had Turkish food before, but I've never had the experience like this Turkish breakfast. We had Turkish coffee, traditionally strong, and an assortment of bread, cheeses, spreads, Turkish sausage, honey with clotted cream, eggs and pastries. Everything was delicious, savory to sweet. The service was very prompt, our waitress and other staff members checked in on us regularly, brought in new dishes and took the empties away every time they passed by. Happy to have seen the changes this business has gone through and hoping to make Turkish Breakfast in my weekly rotation

The sucuk was excellent. Things felt a bit chaotic but we eventually got there. Service felt a bit spotty after the third time ordering coffee while seeing the other tables getting theirs. We were prepared to do a fair amount of waiting but it was a lot. We were offered water an hour after getting there while about to get our third round on our own so that was nice on an 86 degree morning. Didn't realize coffee and tea weren't part of the breakfast service so just keep that in mind while ordering I think there's room for improvement but the concept and venue are very cool

It was a short wait of about 15 minutes before they were able to give us our room info. We booked a larger room with a king bed so our son could have a bit more room to roam. Room was clean, bed was comfy. AC was easy to control. It did have a microwave and mini fridge. Emphasis on the mini for the fridge. Pool was semi heated. The outside temp was in the 60s so the water felt about room temp. Whirlpool was nice and warm. The fitness center has the basic weights and cardio machines. Laundry facilities only had 1 washer and dryer. We had dinner at the bistro located in the lobby area. Basic foods of salads, sandwiches, pizza and burgers. Didn't know they had a kids menu until we had placed our order and one of the workers (the one who didn't assist us) asked the family behind us if they wanted a kids menu. The bistro is only open during certain hours (breakfast and diner mainly. Grab and go snacks and some travel items available at the "market" next to reception. However, there are food options nearby as well. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The room was clean and accommodating with basic amenities. We used their Tuscana Spa for pedicure and massage services and lovednit. Last night we ate at Chi, their Asian fare diningroom and loved it, too. There isca Walgreens about 2 blocks to the right side of the resort, and I found it very convenient. We had coffee at their coffee shop this morning, wishing they had a Starbucks. But their coffee was very good. We watched the Marocco vs Canada game in the lobby and had a margaritas and a Cranberry Juice. The bartender was super friendly. Our children will join us tomorrow. But we like everything so far. Not fancy like Vegas, but personslized.

They even have additional requests section on their booking page where I requested extra things like towels. We did not receive any of those requests. Room: King, Tuscany Suite with a balcony. The room was really nothing special, as time went on we began to notice more small concerns. The first was that the ottoman at the end of our bed was stained which felt off putting. Much of the furniture and room decor was dusty. It seemed like the whole room just needed a deep clean and detail because it appeared well used. The "balcony" was just a patio space with really well loved furniture. It was also funny because our view was the worker entrance/exit so we really one saw people coming to and leaving work. Casino: This was by far the worst casino I have been too. The machines had very low RTP and rarely gave bonus games. It wasn't very well kept, drink glasses would pile up and sit. The staff seemed off putting and not very helpful. The bonuses offered weren't all that great either. Pool: The pool was decent but could use better planning. My hope would be that one of the pool decks becomes a 21+ space. Adults on vacation at a "luxury" hotel don't want to swim with kids. The hot tubs were even occupied by kids which made it unenjoyable and hard to relax. Spa: We didn't even bother with the spa because I called them prior to our stay and got sent to voicemail. I left a voicemail hoping for a call back but never received one. Overall, not worth the expensive price and we will likely not return to stay at the Peppermill.

We arrived around 10pm with two exhausted kids only to find literal sh** left in the toilet, a room that smelled like it, dirty bed sheets, and a broken iron and ironing board. We requested a room change, but were told none were available. We were promised our room would be cleaned first thing the next morning. It wasn't. After spending the morning at the pool, we came back around 3:30 p.m. and our room still hadn't been serviced. We have two young kids, including a toddler who needed a nap, so we actually had to use our friend's room to shower and put our little one down because ours wasn't ready until almost 7 p.m. The next day, the same thing happened. We were then told housekeeping only services rooms if you call and request it. I've traveled a lot and have never heard of that, especially when you're automatically charged a daily housekeeping fee here. To top it off, the pool was unexpectedly closed for maintenance in the middle of the day after we had rented an umbrella, and valet took 55 minutes to bring our car at checkout after we were told it would be about 10 minutes. There seemed to be a new issue every single day. This experience was incredibly disappointing. We won't be back.
