Cool little occult shop near Santa Rosa, that supplies you with everything you need to for your hoodoo rituals and more. The herbs are authentic (and many were grown in their garden), and oils, candles & mojobags, etc. are made following traditional formularies, rather than using substitutions or shortcuts that many modern day spiritual supply companies have resorted to. The shop is fascinating, usually well-stocked and filled to the brim with things to browse. It has a funky, cozy apothecary-like atmosphere--a candystore for people who especially love old-style magic shops. The staff is friendly and helpful, so the place does not feel creepy in any way. The owner, however, can be somewhat of a curmudgeon, but definitely passionate about her interests. The owner, Cat Yronwode is considered to be an expert on African American rootwork, hoodoo (not voodoo), old-style conjure and the use of herbs in folk magic. With this shop, the books she has published, and also her impressive online presence, her mission is to share her wealth of knowledge and keep some of these folk traditions known and alive. Since Cat also has a background in graphic design and comic books, all her supplies have graphic labels that are designed in-house. Some funky, some vintage-looking. Some things make unique gifts. Prices are on the pricey end. Everything is sold with a disclaimer that it's for curio purpose only. Some of the items (herbs) are very skimpy in quantity and overpriced. Most can be purchased from bulk herb shops at a more reasonable price. Other items also carry a higher mark-up. The shop is located on her residential property and can be a little hard to find. The small, free-standing building is at the end of a path through her overgrown garden and buried beneath more foliage. Parking is limited to about 3-4 cars, since you're parking on her property. For more info, they have a website (easily searched on google) that has extensive information on the subject, an online catalogue, pictures of the shop and directions.

"Gardener" described these as blackberries, so I made a pie. It tastes like... burning.

How's the parking? I drove by and saw what looks like a driveway, I didn't want to block anything?

Went here on a Sunday night around 6:30 and was seated very quickly. My wife and I decided to sit…read moreinside since it was a bit chilly but looks like they have nice outdoor seating. Got the focaccia bread and for entrees I got bolognese and my wife got the pesto spaghetti with the GF rummo noodles. The bread was tasty and a big portion! My wife enjoyed her pesto spaghetti and I enjoyed my bolognese, however, the bolognese was very spicy. I didn't see any mention of chili flakes on the menu and I never send food back unless it's undercooked or the wrong meal. I ate it but boy it was spicy! A quick look at some other reviews showed me others have complained about the spicy bolognese. Bolognese is not normally spicy so it's definitely a bold choice of this restaurant to throw those in without warning. So, BE AWARE of that!! I'm still giving 5 stars because our server was super friendly, the restaurant was clean, comfy, and great location. And our food was tasty! Definitely will return at some point and just ask for no chili flakes.

We started with a Cappelletti Spritz (basically an Aperol spritz but not Aperol, and I kind of liked it better), some olives, meatballs, and the burrata toast. All were delicious! For our mains, we had the Bolognese (one with burrata and one without) and the spaghetti with Sunday Red. They made it a point to mention several times that the Bolognese had nutmeg in the sauce (NOT cinnamon as someone else posted. That would be very different.) and made sure it was okay with us. When the Bolognese came out, we discovered that they had red pepper flakes on them. My son doesn't like spicy, so we had them make another one without (took only a few minutes and we brought the other one home). It was delicious and you can definitely taste the nutmeg. We're happy we have another order! Everything was amazing. The portions were plenty. We didn't even have room for dessert and I kind of wanted that olive oil cake! Can't wait to come back.

I've been going here for years now and they are the nicest most wonderful people who give good tours and have wonderful silly and snuggly baby goats! They give you real time with them and don't have a forced amount of time on each part of the tour - unlike Harley goat farm. You can skip the tour and just hung with the baby goats the whole time if you want! Also can come early or stay late depending on when if there's another tour that day. I get enough time with the baby goats - and I loooove baby goats so that's saying something! Bring a meal if you want to eat and hangout at their picnic tables. I've gotten to milk the goats a few times, feed the adults, be there for a goat birth (just happened while on the tour!), and have all the baby goat snuggles and silliness. Love the family farm, love the folks who run the baby goat tours/visits. Also a cute town to go into after for food, beverage, also wine tastings nearby. I recommend a second set of clothes to change into after in case you get dirty (goats are relatively clean, but they're goats so not like indoor pets. I let the baby goats climb all over me.)

We had to try. Loved their beef larb salad, green curry. The green curry was loaded with an assortment of vegetables and I had chicken add on. Servers were very nice but a bit slow on service. Service has been gracious with us each time and provided helpful suggestions when needed. Highlights for us is usually the lemongrass chicken. Definitely on point and the light sweetness from the sweet and sour is great. The crust is always nice and crunchy, and we've found it is easy leftovers with an air fryer. We also got the green curry to try something different and the pad thai for something the same. The pad thai is still a solid choice as everything mixes well. The green curry was great for a vegetarian dish. Probably our favorite part for it was the purple sweet potato which just melted with the sauce.
