To be sure, there were open tables through both the breakfast and lunch shifts, but still. We hogged a table. For her smiley service and take-your-time attitude, BBD gets bumped to a 4. My meat filled omelette was a generous portion of all the good stuff I liked. I did order a side of salsa and extra butter, but the salsa never made its way to the table. The more pressing matter was my cousin's steak, which she ordered medium rare, but definitely came out medium well. It took quite a long while for it to make its way back to the table which was disappointing for my cousin as she really wanted to enjoy her eggs paired with steak. It did come out prepared the way she liked the 2nd time. By then though, it was like she was eating two different meals and I was practically finished with mine. Overall, the BBD worked out for us since we live far from each other and really wanted to catch up. They made good on their steak preparation. The drinks kept getting refilled (we weren't ignored). Our server was great. We left a generous tip. We're likely to come back.

Unfortunately, things went downhill when it was time to pay. Our server accidentally gave us another table's receipt, and my cousin paid it without realizing it wasn't ours. After we were flagged down and told about the mistake, the restaurant tried to sort out the difference instead of simply refunding the incorrect charge and having us pay our actual bill. The end result was even more frustrating because we ended up being charged nearly $10 more than what our bill should have been. Instead of fixing the mistake in the simplest way, the situation became confusing and left us paying more than we owed. Mistakes happen, and I understand that. What matters is how they're handled. It's disappointing because the food and service were otherwise enjoyable, but the way the payment issue was resolved left a bad impression.

Even "Mel" our server was surprised when she came around to check on us. It is very clean inside even though it's packed with diners. They are quick to clear the tables and chairs. The table, chairs, floor and condiments that we used and walked around were not sticky or dirty. By the entrance and exit door is a bell. I noticed a $2.25 charge just for the extra side of dressing. My complaint isn't necessarily that there *is* a charge, but rather that it wasn't stated beforehand. There was no mention of it when ordering, and in my opinion, $2.25 for a simple side of Caesar dressing is excessive. We finished our meal and left, but between the heavy substitution fees and the surprise dressing charge, the customer service policy here feels a bit nickle-and-dime. Good food, but transparency on their pricing could definitely be improved.

This used to be one of my most favourite burger places in town. The food is very good, and I previously gave them 5 stars on google before. My pictures from this place had over a thousand views. However after today I will never give one cent to these racist mofo's ever again. I wish I could give negative stars! I ordered and the lady was whatever about it. I waited patiently for my food and was never rude or disrespectful ever. Then as one of the girls was bagging it up and asked the order taker who it was for. The racist ass cook looks up and goes it's for the guero! I looked right at him and he put his head down. Wtf??? You work in customer service/food service. That is never cool. I might look white but I'm Filipino and Italian, and I know spanish. Regardless of my ethnicity that is not how you describe a paying customer. I didn't come into your restaurant and say hey Mexican make my food. Cause that's fucked up and you don't do stuff like that. I have worked in customer service for over 15 years and over 4 years in food service. That is NOT how any customer should be treated. EVER! With all the racism in the world you think anyone in a customer service position would show a more professional attitude. Apparently not though. Even if I was completely white, that is unacceptable behaviour. You don't get to say whatever you want about white people and then say they're racist when they do something. Racism goes both ways. If he had no problem calling me a guero in the open all loud. What is he saying about the other customers who walk in there. What's he saying when African Americans order there? What's he saying when el Salvadorians order there? Asains? Polynesian? Middle Eastern? With his lack of sensitivity there's most likely all kinds of racial slurs flying around there. On top of that my burger was covered in grease. So much in fact that it made the bun completely soggy and was changing its color. Even keeping it in the paper wrap my hands were soaked just from holding it. It's sad that this was one of my favourite places to eat... After today though, I WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN!!!! read more

I'm a usual here, mostly for the breakfast service especially on the weekends. Not as crazy as people make it to be, you will be taken good care of. Good vibes overall in the morning. Love the breakfast here. The coffee is really good, everything is fresh, quick & homemade! Food is always hot, need to say the food is a must try here. Can't go wrong with the chicken breast and potatoes. Make everything homemade here, from the hashbrowns to the pancakes. no questions asked, the service makes it taste better. Should bring cash for tip as well. The con my friends at this restaurant is: The night service is the least favorite, especially on a Friday night with deymi an this other young girl. I know all the morning gals and they work hard in the mornings, especially with the boss being there.. but the night time the experience was differen. Demi only talking with the cooks, while I been waiting more than 15 mins and it's not as close as being busy as the morning.. she seemed to chat with the cooks & take care of them more than the customers. Came in here for a night experience and let me tell you, deyme has let me down with the little girl, who I thought was talking more than helping the customers. More of a breakfast person especially when it comes to Lucky Greek. The service is amazing, makes you feel like you're family. Especially with Sunny, she is delightful & Angie is a genuine sweetheart. Should go for the breakfast when they are around, because the night service is not the same. Just came in to grab a quick burger bite, because the burgers here are bomb. Try any one of um and you can't go wrong, but only when the owner is here cooking. He makes real good burgers, which is mainly the morning time. The night burger doesn't taste the same and the service sucks. Let's just say dayme and the little girl who is supposablly a worker talked more to the two cooks behind the counter. Thinking it's dayme's jusband and son working together with daughter? Just standing around the cash register, flirting and laughing rather than giving me my food. Going to take a video the next time I come in for the night experience if I ever come back. I'm an usual here, mainly for their service in the mornings. Come in with my baby for their pancakes and some bacon. The girls have great attitudes & always a pleasure to come back, but only for the morning service, especially with Angie & Sunny. Always taking good care of me and my baby girl. They need to work in the evenings, because without them, the atmosphere is different at night. Came in when Demi, a familiar face was working with a younger girl on a Friday night with my baby & the service was terrible! Thought I'd get the same effect as the morning, but Demi was just chillin with cooks and didn't even pay any attention. She was socializing with the cooks, maybe one was her husband.. or one was her kid.. while the other girl was no where to be seen. Just letting everyone know, come in the morning! Been going here for quite some time. Brought in a close pal of mine for first time.. to start off, the customer service from Angie was superb. Always giving out good hospitality no matter how busy it gets.. sat next to the main entrance by the tv with my pal and my waitress never served me. Got the name from the owner, supposably it was Demi.. never checked on us or even refills on my oj..wasn't expecting such service.. environment was casual & not too busy.. she seemed too busy chatting with the single man next to us but ignored my pal and I completely. Thankfully the older lady in there and Angie helped us, especially when we were desperate for some water.. I have been coming here for years. I would usually sit by the main entrance and my server would usually be Maria, but she has been a real disappointment this time! She would serve others that had arrived later than my family and I and wouldn't even come to our table when we needed more drinks! She would constantly chat with other tables that seemed like they were her usuals and barely even gave us a glance. We felt very neglected at that time. We weren't going to return but we gave it another try and let me tell you that we did not sit in Maria's section! We sat on the other side, and had a server named Angie. This is one of my favorite spots to go to with my family. Usually go on Wednesday's and Sundays & sit near by the plants and window view because of our car & usually with the waitress of Maria. Well I went in today & a couple other times and just wanted to right a review because of lack of professionalism. Probably should invest in uniforms or a standard work clothing because today, felt a little uncomfortable. Senora marie/Maria's behavior and attire did not fit a waitress look. The dress code was not restaurant appropriate & wasn't suitable for a standard appearance, especially for someone much older. It gets busy, but she is always so positive. Always come on the weekend just to see her now! My family and I have been coming here for years and would always sit and get served by Maria, but lately, she has been bringing our drinks very last until the food already came out and we constantly ask for coffee but she doesn't bring it. Best hidden gem in area!! Got to say they have best service and hot fresh food on the daily.. breakfast cooked fresh and it's bomb. AlwAys coming about two three times a week. They got the uz girls who take good care of their customers in the morning. Disappointed at the night shift handle though. They got a uz girl on Sunday nights, name supposabky be Jennifer who needs to check her tone. Boss lady not in at night to take control of the manners and considerations of the young bucks at night. Love this small family restaurant. They always take good care of my family especially my daughters. We love their onion rings especially when you get them extra crispy. My husband loves their double cheeseburger. He says it's to die for. Haha. The ladies in the morning are always so nice & welcoming. Always ask for Angie or Raquelle, they will take good care of you. You can't leave tips on cards manually, we always forgot that, good thing we have some cash with us for their tip. But I came here on Sunday around 2-3 when a girl named Jenny helped. One star down because she was rude and had an attitude. We are the customers right?? My family has been going here for years. We always come after church but lately every Sunday we have been going it is very disappointing!! This place is known for their breakfast, service and hamburgers. The weekends will be crowded during the breakfast time, but it is worth the wait. The staff tries their best to make you feel comfortable, just like as if you were at home. It can get confusing for first timers at this restaurant, because it is considered fast food like in-n-out but at the same time, it is a dine in restaurant like IHOP. I have a colleague that also went to Quik Stop that same day and we both had the same experience. I guess it's back to homemade sandwiches from now on. I'm sad to have to move on but I won't pay for a sandwich that is over $10 with a slice of meat and sprinkle of veggies. The service is still great.

What I got was a disgusting plated of old white rice, not orzo, not pilaf. Two day old rice with chicken that had no seasoning at all. This was just chicken, not shawarma. The hummus was clumpy and had zero flavor. Hummus is not hard to make. They did not provide any bread as most places do. The lamb gyro was the worst I've ever had. Either they sent me a side of ranch dressing or that was the worst tasting "tzatziki" sauce I've ever had. Maybe their burgers are good, but they should just remove Greek food from the menu.

I get why they're popular. Based on the first time I decided to try the curly fries to see if it would be a better outcome. It was, fortunately, and I think this is what I'll get henceforth, or onion rings, which are still untried. Anyhow, the girl at the window forgot to give me the drink and I'm still wondering how my bill reached $22, but I'll ask specifically next for the receipt and breakdown. The sandwich was so thin that it looked more like something you would pick up from a gas station than what you would expect from a restaurant. For the price and the way it was presented on the menu, I expected a much fuller and more satisfying sandwich. The flavor may have been fine, but the portion did not come close to meeting expectations. I hope management takes a look at the portion size because customers ordering a pastrami sandwich should feel like they are getting what they paid for.
