This is where the super greedy inflated priced orders need to be spot on. But you can't do that and where people should be done. Hopefully we all wake up and go down to Jewel and buy premium frozen for $10 and let businesses like this go under. Customer service when order was wrong sucked.

Pizza For U is pretty okay for what you get whether it's pizza or something. Good prices on most of the items. They also have online ordering. I had some food from this place with others while at River Hawk Brewery. Over there isn't any food so they let you bring it in. This seems pretty okay for a place to get some pizza. Maybe instead you would like something not as big and you would be in luck. They have plenty other than pizza. A Veggie Pocket is a good deal. It's $12.95 for a regular. This comes with 2 sauces and 5 toppings. It basically is a whole pizza cut up so it's still actually a lot to eat. This just doesn't look like as much. Has delivery options around Channahon. It brings it to River Hawk so you can get drunk and eat some pizza. The other drunks agree it's good stuff.

First employee that approached us was a bus staff and told us we had five to ten mins left to order food. He went to get one of the three employees at the other end of the bar. When he returned with a one she was visibly agitated. I asked if we could still order that the bus staff said we had a few mins. I told her I tried to wave her down to get a menu so I could quickly put an order in. She raised her voice and with a bad attitude and said "can't u see im helping other people". I repeated myself and asked if there was still time to put in an order. She rolled her eyes and said "ya know what...no I'm not serving u. Ur being rude to me" my husband and I both looked at each other in disbelief! She was clearly the one being over the top and had a blatant lack of service skills. It was written all over her face and in her demeanor she didn't want to serve us because it was later in the night and didn't want to take anymore new customers. I asked to speak with her boss. Instead Another server who was also not doing anything but standing at the end of the bar approached yelling telling my us that our eyes were red and we were wasted. ( I might add the second server reeked of skunk and was also drinking alcohol behind the bar before approaching us) But we do not drink so we were far from intoxicated. At this point both employees are getting verbally aggressive with us. I continued to ask for the boss. Getting more frustrated by the minute I was losing my patience. Eventually The older server said she was the boss for the night. But I don't think she was an actual manager due to her lack of customer service skills and behavior. She clearly wanted to wiggle out of doing her job. As both servers are yelling at us. My husband literally sat there not saying a word except "u approached us with a very rude demeanor" one time. I on the other hand am not as kind or reserved. I told both servers "they were rude and that if they were miserable in their lives and job to not take that out on your customers and that their service skills were lacking" that infuriated the younger employee so badly she decided to abuse the police's emergency line. She claimed we were drinking heavily and she was going to have us arrested. Which was far from any truth. I asked repeatedly for a bosses card or name or when one would be in next. They refused to tell me and got their phones out to record. But completely neglected to video in the beginning when their behavior and lack of service skills instigated and antagonized the situation. With in minutes, as me and my husband were exiting the building while still getting yelled at a police officer shows up. He was in the next parking lot over and responded with in a just a couple minutes. Which I appreciate and love about our police force. We go outside and I explain what happened. He was very polite and absolutely knew we were not intoxicated in the slightest. He had us wait outside and went in for a moment to talk to the wait and bar staff. He returned appropriately two mins later. He said he could visibly see how much more aggressive they were being in this situation. He even stated he didn't think the server was a manager either. She wasnt telling the truth I'm assuming because she didn't want her actual manager to get word of her actions and the fact she was denying service to two customers for no reason. We joked and laughed with the officer outside about negative customer service for a few minutes and we were on our way. It's truly a shame I'm a loving member of the community. I'm involved in many volunteer projects and community functions in our town. I'm very proud to be apart of such a wonderful community. My children have grown up here and I truly love living here. Many of my close family and friend go to events and hang out at this location regularly. We also pop in there at least once or twice a month and have never seen those servers before and have had great visits otherwise. Now we r all contemplating never going back. Also, For the record the servers had no grounds and the one wasn't a real manager so they couldn't trespass us from the location. Such a bummer two belligerent people ruined a once enjoyable place for us. I will continue to post my review in other forums and platforms. I also have filed a formal complaint with the franchises home office. The servers in this instance clearly have poor customer service skills and desperately need retraining or to possibly re think their career path if they can't control themselves properly. Just The thought of someone else being treated this way makes me sad because it was once a place we were very fond of.

Now, having a restaurant option that is 5 minutes away is a welcome treat. We went in on a Wednesday evening. It was late, probably too late to take our kiddo out, but this time of year is busy. After a day full of school and sports, we needed dinner. Papa Magoos was on our way home, so we gave it a shot. I walked in and almost immediately wanted to leave. It was 8 p.m. on a Wednesday night, there were maybe 15 people in the restaurant area, and there was a DJ blasting tunes loud enough that you couldn't have a conversation at your own table. Kind of an odd play for a Wednesday night, but maybe I'm just too old. Fortunately, we asked the waitress if we could sit in the side room with some video games - a much quieter area. Another couple had their kids there and all of the kids bonded over the hockey table. Service was great - our waitress was very attentive, honest about recommendations, and didn't steer us wrong. For an appetizer, we started with cheese curds paired with their ranch, buffalo, and marinara. Let me tell you - the cheese curds were a solid 8 out of 10 - but the portion size was huge. It's by far the largest order of curds we have ever received. I almost wished it was smaller because they were so good we ate the whole order - and it was just too much! All of the sauces were delicious. After those curds, my wife and I decided to split eight wings and fries, and the kiddo got a hot dog off of the kids menu. The bone-in the wings were served naked, as in just fried with skin on - no breading. The wings were enormous - and after those curds, we ate only two. We got four tossed in buffalo and four plain, with Garlic Parmesan and Mango Habanero on the side. The buffalo is a bit nontraditional looking, but it's excellent. The Mango Habanero was also nontraditional looking, but it was decent as well - but don't expect a lot of heat; it's sweeter, and the buffalo was hotter. The Garlic Parm was my least favorite, but it wasn't bad. We had to order a basket of fries on the side - which was entirely too much, but the fries are really good - straight cut, done a bit well and topped with some kind of salty seasoning and parsley. The kid's hot dog was not bad - it was served on a bun that was just a bit too big and fancy for my 6-year-old, and the hot dog itself was either overcooked or had a tough skin that I had to cut with a knife for him. Either way, it tasted good and came with a generous portion of fries. Two fountain drinks, a water, and a 20% tip came out to $60. It's not the cheapest, but that's the world we live in today. I could have saved $8 or so by not getting the huge order of fries with the wings. I've been taking a break from alcohol for a bit - but I did notice they had a slightly above par selection of craft beer on draft. Mostly IPAs, but at least it's not just Green Line from Goose. They had selections from Buckle-Down, Lagunitas, Revolution, and cans from Will County, among others. Don't worry, all your favorite macro lagers are here too. Papa Magoos definitely exceeded expectations - and I'll be back to try different things on the menu. Bonus that it's a short drive away in an area that is pretty much a desert of restaurant
