Besides being filthy and with zero decor besides the free "try a tamale!" posters that frozen food vendors give their buyers, the food was terrible. Apparently there was a race to cut the cucumbers and tomatoes as the slices were all too thick to sit correctly on the bun. They threw in a whopping (2) sport peppers. And worst of all, the hot dog was clearly not a Vienna and instead reminded me of every penis I've seen in every autopsy I've attended (a lot). It was pale, disgusting, and looked like it had been pulled from a bathtub after being dead for 6 days. There was zero flavor to the hot dog. $5 for something that should never be served. The guy working there was clearly excited about playing big boss to the 2 high school aged girls there, although he couldn't tell them to sweep all the chips off the floor in the dining area. And all you can get is chips - they have no deep fryer. The ceiling tiles were stained and gross. This place looked like it was abandoned 3 years ago and they just opened it today to serve the 2 hot dogs left in water before they closed. You'd do better at the disgusting Long John Silver/KFC combo shack a few blocks away. And that's sad. Go to downtown Morris for food you can actually eat. read more

Stopped by for nostalgic reasons...have not had a Bozo's near where I live in probably 25-30 years. It reminded me of being a kid. However...the cheese hot dog was awful. The color was very off putting...it was basically flesh colored...no shade of anything but wintery white flesh. Was asked if I wanted American or Nacho cheese. I said American...literally put a cold slice of cheese on it. I was kind of shocked at this level of poor man home style cheese dogs that cost $5 each. Also for the memory bank we got a Bozito...there was zero flavor in the chili or cheese on the chips. I have never owned nor worked in a restaurant. After seeing eating the food this place serves I am 1 Billion % certain I could start a hot dog place in Morris and it would be highly successful. My trip done memory lane although it was taken care of it is forget tainted by the pasty flesh colored hotdog. read more

Love the dogs here. Grew up with the unique style of Chicago dogs plus salad-on-a-bun, e.g., Byrons, Tastee-Hastee on Milwaukee in Chicago and this is a happy go-back to these places. Great spot! Have eaten here on and off based on my residence for almost 20 years. It's consistently great! You will not find a nicer owner and staff! Beef is better than Portillos, pulled pork is unmatched until you get to Nashville, and the value stays unbeatable. The dining area is clean, but definitely old school. We have seen restaurants in the area upgrade their facility, which increases prices without any better food. Boz's keeps it simple, which has led to YEARS of consistency. This place reminds me of the local hot dog place where I grew up, just no nonsense food. I ordered the Polish which was fantastic. My guest order a hot dog and it was very good. I also ordered the Bozito, which was a chips chili cheese and onion sampler, which was very good. I used to love Boz, went there for many many years. I still say go during the day when the owner is working. But avoid it at night all together. I was yelled at and accused of eating all the food when I asked for a refund for 3 of the hotdogs with hard buns. The darn things fell apart, and everything fell into the box. and it's consistent with going at night and getting lousy food with lousy service and a spiteful employee. She made me feel like a fool in front of other customers, she yelled you can't eat the food and expect a refund!! I turned around and got real loud after that because she made me look like an idiot. I wasn't proud of myself for that outburst, but I was so mad that she would lie like that. Then she talked about me after I left too. I heard all about it from another customer that was in there that I know. It hurts me because the owner has been such an amazing guy, and unfortunately, this one employee is probably related to him since she's been there for years. I'm not stepping foot back into that building now. She's sealed the deal. All I wanted was a refund for the 3 hot dogs that weren't eaten accept a small bite out of the bread in one. And that was too much to ask. She said we sat out in the parking lot a long time and that's why the bread was hard. I've driven 40 minutes away before and never had hard bread. But the past few years, it's consistently hard bread at night. Cold hot dogs, and I used to get Italian sausage made like a hot dog, but they keep giving me brats and I hate brats. So day shift, should be good, because the owner cares. The night shift, at your own risk. And God help you if you want a refund when your food falls into the bottom of the box because the buns are so hard they fall apart.. It's not happening. If the owner sees this, I'm sorry. I have known you my whole life. I never thought I would be treated this way at your restaurant. Thankyou for being so kind. It will be the last $30 I spend there. You're close enough to Chicago to make a proper hot dog, but they don't. They use a pork hot dog. That's a no no around here. Always use a all beef hot dog. Regular size not jumbo. When I asked which hot dog they have they said pork and Beef mix but if you want all beef you have to get the big quarter pound hot dog. That's a sin. You got to have the proper ratio of hot dog to toppings. They also don't use a s rosen's poppy seed bun. These are regular old hot dog bun. I walked out. read more

No french fries. As to the food quality, it's very good. The beef is the best in my opinion, but Boz makes a mean hot dog at this location. I like to add the pepperoncini peppers to the hot dogs. Try the Killer Combo if you're really hungry. I've had it a few times, but can't afford the calories any more - it's a combination of Italian sausage, Italian beef, with cheese and red sauce on a bun. Pepsi products are available for drinks, they have the big pickles as well, and some specialty drinks (Gatorade, Green River, a few others) in a refrigerated case. What could be better is the decor. The place needs a good spruce up, but the food is good, and outdoor seating is available. It is a great place for a quick lunch or dinner, when you just want to sit down and eat some good food. Cost was reasonable and it tasted good. There is seating inside to eat. The only downside is the eating area is run down and could use new carpeting. The food is pretty good. I stop here when I'm in Morris and get an all beef hotdog with the works and sport peppers. The beef sandwiches are really good too, for me not as good as Portillo's but I thought they were pretty good. The staff has always been super polite, and you are in and out quicker than Jimmy John's. I only gave them 3 stars because it's super duper gross in the dining area! I think in all my review's I have only commented on the cleanliness of a restaurant once before. It's in serious need of a major top to bottom remodel, or at the very least a bucket of soap and water with a carpet cleaning. The bathrooms are not a place where you want to go either. I now just get my hotdog and get out. You may ask me why I still eat here, and I guess the answer is the front seems clean and they wear gloves.
