Pharmacy staff are super accommodating. Took my GoodRx card and even provided prescription at a lower price than on the GoodRx web site.

They have a good amount of ready made items to grab if you want to have a picnic, and local goods too. It's expensive for sure, but not outrageous for a specialty grocery store.

This morning, both employees saw me standing at the counter waiting. One was folding towels, the other was facing me. They made eye contact multiple times, then deliberately looked away without acknowledging me. It was very obvious I needed help with something. I had placed an online order for two sandwiches, which came out to $33.69. For that price, the least I expect is basic acknowledgment. After waiting long enough, I finally asked, "Am I in the wrong area?" Instead of a simple, polite response, I was met with an irritated "What do you need?" from both of them, as if I was inconveniencing them. When I explained I had an online order, I was told, "It's right there," with a dismissive point toward the shelves. No greeting, no guidance, no courtesy. I'm a local resident and work in healthcare. Even on difficult days, I make a conscious effort to treat people with respect and kindness. It's not that hard to acknowledge someone standing right in front of you. This world is already full of enough frustration and rage. A little basic courtesy goes a long way. On a positive note, the hot dog stand guy out front is always super nice and friendly, which makes the contrast even more noticeable. Customer service doesn't require perfection, just basic decency. Unfortunately, that seems to be missing here.

The aisles can be a bit small which I could see being a bit of a pain if there are lots of people in the store. You can pretty much find anything you are looking for here. Albeit not necessarily the same volume as a chain grocery store but everything here seems to be good quality. We found lots of good wine as well. Then we got to the deli. It's pretty impressive with standard items like the various prepared salads (chicken, tuna, etc). We wanted to try the sandwiches and for that you'll need to get the order forms from outside near the entrance, then take them to the counter, wait a bit and they'll call you when it's ready. We both got mediterranean sandwiches to go. You can get build your own as well but I figured I'd go with one on the menu. The sandwich was delicious. Fresh ingredients, really good bread, and everything just worked in the sandwich. I really enjoyed it. We also got some butter beans from the deli and those were amazing as well. I highly recommend Jerome's and will be back again.

First of all, I love this store and I feel very fortunate that we have Jerome's in our small town…read more This review is specifically a sandwich review, as I finally tried their in-house made sandwiches yesterday. We ordered 3 different sandwiches. All three were built generally the same. I personally had a pastrami on a French roll with several veggies to add freshness. Although the sandwich price at $12 is on par for custom built sandwiches these days, I was hoping for more meat and veggies that would stand apart from other delis. But it was probably the least filled sandwich that we all have had in a while. The bread was fresh as well as the ingredients, there just wasn't enough meat or vegetables in the sandwich. I think it is a decent sandwich for the convenience. I just won't get another sandwich or seek it out when looking for a deli sandwich. By the way, they did put a healthy portion of alfalfa sprouts. So if you like sprouts, maybe Jerome's will be your sandwich place.

I have mixed feelings about this store. Today, I went there with my senior parents at around 3 pm…read more I left them to shop as I looked at other things. I found that the staff were very helpful when I asked them to check on the price of a shirt that I found that was missing its price. I am always glad with the soda selection especially Walmart's own brand of Dr. Thunder that virtually tastes exactly like Dr. Pepper. It is always a great to buy their brand of soda and the flavor is so close to the popular brands that I barely can tell the difference. However, when I meant up to my parents, my mom was very upset and was anxious to leave. Apparently, there was uninvolved parents who were so into themselves that they did not care that their children were running around and making items fall on purpose. Those parents were not watching their children. Now, some people may think what do I expect?!? This is Walmart! This is where the "wild life" ill mannered customers blend in with the mature civilized customers. Yes, I am clearly saying that is what you may expect- people with their children who do not know how to supervise their children or act in public. But then, you would not see this in say Trader Joes. Perhaps the types of customers are kind of different. It seems that way. However, some stores also appreciate customers who tell staff about unruly customers and would be willing to go on the intercom to tell parents to supervise their children and that any broken items they will be required to pay for. I never see any Walmart that does this and clearly Walmart is not a playground. I am also aware that they deal with property loss as I keep up with the news. If one of those kids ran into one of my parents who are unsteady on my feet and they fell down getting hurt, I would be very upset and I would not ignore it or look the other way. The law clearly states if a customer informs a clerk that there are unruly unsupervised children, and they do nothing about it, then an elderly customer gets hurt, not only are the parents held accountable but also the store. This is because the staff were warned and still did not intervene to prevent a tragedy. Of course, I am becoming aware that it is to the store's advantage not to do anything and hope no tragedy happens and if it does the person won't take legal action. It is better then for the store to look the other way and being that it is Walmart, it is a huge corporation. A corporation I am all to familiar with as I read at least 3 books about this successful company that was started by a determined and extremely compulsive founder Sam Walton who started the mega company by modest means. But I also know that there is such a thing as making the shopping experience for everyone to be pleasant and welcoming. That means informing people to watch their children and not allow them to misbehave. Let me suggest a recording that comes on upon every hour that state, parents need to supervise their children and are expected to pick any items their children drop. If any item becomes broken, then the parents will be required to pay for it. Or at least perhaps staff should take customers concerns especially those who seriously. We all hope someday we will live into old age (although we may not be looking forward to it) but it is little things like respect that matter.
