Great selection of food, and my Baja salad was outstanding. And the hibiscus lemonade was so refreshing. Great spot. Highly recommend!

There's something you need to do here before joining their wine club or even looking at the menu,…read moreit is requesting Elesha as your server. While the food was delightful, and most of my choices as a CHW newbie were influenced by her suggestions, her kindness and personality were the star of the experience. She has the style and grace of a professional server in Chicago or LA. NWI is lucky to have someone as talented and warm as her. I thoroughly enjoyed my drunken shrimp, salad, seafood bisque, and chicken madeira. I really loved the option to have a smaller lunch portion because with all of these appetizers I was unable to finish my meal and had a delightful box of leftovers to enjoy later for dinner. There is also a great variety of NA drinks and cocktails that are fantastic. The ambience at lunch was lovely and once you actually enter the dining room, the din of the tasting area is dampened. Thank you again, Elesha. You made a special day out with my mom even more special.

Jambalaya was mid for $25.99. It wasn't the worst but, it wasn't the best. Shrimps were big and…read morecooked to perfection. The chicken was small pieces and the sausage was tasty but cut up small. I ordered a Peach house made lemonade. The beverage was described as having a peach purée in their house made lemonade. It could not see the peach purée but, the lemonade did have a slight hint of peach flavor. Restaurant has beautiful decor and has a definite mood/vibe. It would be good for a date night. I recommend requesting a section with no children since the table two tables over had a small child screaming and throwing a temper tantrum on the floor. Or request to sit outside on the patio. The patio looked great. Our server was polite and prompt. She was able to answer any questions we had intelligently and concisely.

I've read the bad reviews and I can only assume these folks don't know food…read more Most places in the area have everything from GFS OR US foods. This IS NOT THAT PLACE! Everything we ordered was made from scratch. This filet was the best I've had. I could cut it with a fork. I overheard the manager say it was waygu. At 40 bucks for this level of quality I'm so impressed. This was comparable to the filet Eddie Merlots and it's roughly 40 an ounce there. Do yourself a favor and go. If you eat up all my fried cheese I'm coming for you

Were we supposed to smile and wave goodbye? Such an odd table placement. I was against the wall and had an unused 2 burner coffee warmer, paper napkins and a stack of to-go boxes less than 3 feet to my right. Service was painfully slow. Our server actually asked us if we wanted the relish dishes which are advertised to be included with dinners. Yes, please. She brought the beets and the cottage cheese but no 3 bean salad. We also had a half order of the cheese squares appetizer and found them unremarkable. The dipping sauce for the cheese tasted just like a pasta sauce straight from a jar. Husband had a strip steak which he said was on the tough side. I ordered combo of lake perch and scallops. Both had cheap breading. Obviously came from a large freezer bag, not breaded on site. The scallops were no bigger than one inch in diameter. Lake perch tasted like fish sticks from a cafeteria. Baked potato was good! Threw away the coupon given with our bill since there is no reason to pay good money to eat there again.

I came in for breakfast and left wishing I hadn't. The food was honestly hard to get through cold,…read morepoorly cooked, and lacking any real flavor. For a breakfast spot, that's a big miss. The staff made it worse. Service was rude, unorganized, and it felt like we were an inconvenience just for being there. No greeting, no check-ins, no urgency at all. On top of that, the restaurant itself was dirty. Tables weren't wiped down, floors looked neglected, and overall it just didn't feel clean or welcoming, which makes you question what's going on behind the scenes. There are way too many good breakfast places out there to waste your time here. I won't be back.

I had high expectations based on reading some of the reviews, but was disappointed in a few…read morethings...the food, the service, and how LOUD it is inside this place. I ordered the Brisket Hash and Eggs - it also comes with either toast or pancakes - I chose the pancakes, which actually was the best choice and best food I had. The coffee is also pretty good. Bold and HOT. The Brisket Hash is served in a smaller cast-iron dish on your plate. It's super dry. I think it's mixed with some hashbrowns and onions and some spices. But it was way too dry and didn't taste like smoked brisket, so if you were hoping for that taste of brisket, this isn't the right choice. It also comes with eggs and I had them over easy, other than still a little runny and not cooked through, they were okay. The pancakes were the best though. Super soft, comes with butter (on the side) plus syrup and a small tiny cup of applesauce (tasty). They had good flavor and was perfect. Someone at our table also ordered the Biscuit and Gravy. It's a super large flaky biscuit (way too dry) and some dark sausage gravy that tasted more like flour than sausage gravy. It was definitely thick, but the flavor was off. We did not finish it. Others at our table got just eggs, bacon and toast. Something you can make at home anyway, so it's hard to mess it up honestly. And one other person ordered the greek salad. The dressing comes ON the salad already, and it felt like they could have served some extra on the side. Just wasn't enough. Plus the salad was served on a plate, not in a bowl, so salad and toppings fell off onto the table. Not the prettiest presentation. In fact, the theme of this place is - everything is served on a separate dish, so good luck finding space on your table. Plus I feel the prices are way higher than they should be for the portion size and quality of food. The other issue here is that this place is LOUD. Someone in our group uses hearing aids and they had to turn them down because it was way too loud. we could hardly have a normal conversation and there were just five of us at a long table. The chairs are another issue I feel. As you scoot in and away from the table, it feels like the legs are going to break from underneath you at any point. They are wobbly, and very uncomfortable. So, in closing, I wanted to LOVE this place, but it's just an overpriced brunch location with a large two-sided menu of bland food with the loudest rooms imaginable.
