When a restaurant is this popular, having no reservation system is a serious drawback. Our party of six--four adults and two children--arrived at 5:30 p.m. to celebrate a birthday and a wedding. We put our name on the waitlist and weren't seated until 6:10. It was 99 degrees outside, and waiting in the sun and heat for 40 minutes was uncomfortable, especially since we had arrived early. I understand that popular restaurants can get busy, but guests shouldn't have to spend nearly an hour waiting outside. A reservation system would make the experience much more convenient and would likely bring me back more often. Sol y Luna has excellent food and service; now it just needs a better way to manage its busy dinner crowds. Don't waste my time. I'm the guest.
