We had been speaking to our older son, Luca about brushing, flossing etc. He woke up so excited about his visit! When we arrived we were greeted by so many friendly faces :) we sat in the waiting room equipped with books, TVs, and toys (and a fish tank which my 15 month old lovvved). Dr. Hernandez personally came to greet us and brought us back. The first 10 minutes were all about making the boys comfortable. Showing them around and talking to Luca about cleaning his teeth, explaining everything to us and him. The rest was so easy. He hopped in the chair and had his teeth cleaned and examined by one of their lovely hygienists. My 15 month old did great too! Everyone at that office is warm and friendly and super helpful. I could not have picked a better dentist for my boys first visit. Luca even said on the way out "see you tomorrow" which tells me he really enjoyed his experience. If only I could get that pumped about visiting the dentist! Thank you again central Texas pediatrics ! You guys are wonderful.

I confirmed my appointment several times, filled out all forms, even sent an x rays taken by other clinics. When we finally arrived there, they told me: " I don't know who cancelled your appointment, but it has been cancelled!" I tried to talk to their assistant manager. Showed a proof that I never received any call from them, but she was saying to reschedule it! Both me and my husband took off from work, a kid didn't go to school, he was experiencing a pain and they were saying "let's reschedule it!" WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL THAT??

I drove from Fredericksburg--a four-hour round trip--leaving my 7-month-old and taking an entire day off. Because he came recommended, I trusted I would be in good hands. I was understandably nervous. I've had root canals before and experienced significant pain afterward, so I communicated that anxiety openly. From the moment Dr. Duggan entered the room, his demeanor was dismissive and arrogant, but I tried to brush it off. As he began administering the numbing injections, my anxiety increased. Before the third injection, I asked to pause for a moment to collect myself. I even tried to lighten the moment by mentioning that I had labored naturally and wasn't sure why I felt so anxious. At that point, he had spent no more than five minutes with me total. His response was shocking. He became visibly frustrated and said, "You're wasting my time. You need to let me do my job or get out of this chair. I know what I'm doing--you don't." I was stunned. No patient--especially one who is anxious and vulnerable--should ever be spoken to this way by a medical professional. I sat up in the chair, in tears. He then made an incredibly condescending and inappropriate comment, saying, "How did you ever labor naturally?" and walked out of the room. I went to the waiting room and broke down. When my husband confronted him, Dr. Duggan denied everything. We left immediately. This was not simply poor bedside manner. It was unprofessional, demeaning, and completely unacceptable--particularly toward a young mother who simply asked for a moment of compassion. For a procedure costing $2,700, I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere. Choose a provider who respects patients, listens, and treats people with basic human decency.

Straightening my teeth with Invisalign wasn't terribly complicated, but getting me settled in a retainer after my treatment was complete was kind of dicey. I needed him to adjust it so my bite at night was neutral -- long story, but it has to do with being able to breathe when I'm sleeping (no clenching on back molars.) My request was kind of new to him, but he kindly and patiently listened to me and said, "I'm going to trust that you know what your body needs." And then he worked with me for close to an hour to adjust the bite on my retainer! I never once felt like he was exasperated. He truly won't rest until his patients are comfortable and happy. But Dr. Henry has also done something that so many others haven't: he's gathered a team of gifted, deeply dedicated support staff that made all the difference for me. This practice has several offices and he serves people in many locations. But when I needed something and he wasn't in the office, Val took exceptional care of me. Every single time I had a question or concern, I knew she was going to talk to Dr. Henry about it and together, they would find the best solution for me. What an incredible team they are! At my next to last visit, Val told me she would carefully explain our conversation to him, and when she did, he had the confidence to move forward with her recommendations. And guess what? It resulted in my getting e-x-a-c-t-l-y what I needed. Every single night I am grateful for my custom-made retainer because I can SLEEP. Bottom line: rest assured Dr. Henry has your back, and that his staff (especially Val) is not only highly skilled, but they also extend his generosity of spirit even when he's not there. I wish every medical and dental practice took such great care of their patients.

They explained everything really well, and I didn't feel like I was being sold a used car (as was my experience elsewhere). They were very understanding that we are only concerned about alleviating crowding to make room for adult teeth, and will wait and see if further orthodontia is needed later. We have had no issues with her expander during the treatment. The desk people were very patient and helpful with the first use of my FSA card, which I had my doubts about. Billing is clear and simple. Appointment scheduling is also easy, and they provide just the right number of reminders. I didn't feel like I had to fill out too many forms, always a plus. We accidentally showed up a day early for one checkup, and they squeezed us in since we were already there. Appointments always run on time. Best of all, my daughter's teeth look adequately spaced now! It's like magic!

The orthodontist's office at this place is a SCAM!…read more TL;DR: They signed us up for monthly billing and won't respond to calls, so we can't cancel, even though we never had braces put on. I have been trying to contact their team at the Central location (formerly by Seton, now in Mueller) FOR WEEKS, but I have yet to hear back from anyone. We were supposed to have an appointment last week, and the office kept sending me confirmation texts (so they have my number), but they won't return my calls. I have also left at least five messages since August with my name and phone number and my son's full name, date of birth, and the proposed appointment time. We agreed to a monthly payment for braces 13 months ago, but we still don't have braces on (he did have an expander put in). We want to stop these payments until the company responds with a summary of treatment so far. We are certain that we have already paid more than the cost of services rendered. The shady third-party system that they use for billing (Ortho-Fi) told us they also can't get a reply from the orthodontist's office and they'd left 3 messages. BUT they also said they can't stop the charges until the orthodontist's office acknowledges that they have received the notice - which the office won't do. The Ortho-Fi operator suggested that I drive to the office and physically confront the office personnel, which is not something I am comfortable doing. Something I am very comfortable doing, however, is letting y'all know that these guys are not to be trusted! ¡Aléjense de estos estafadores!

This wouldn't have been a problem but she had to get 2 teeth pulled and another dentist cleared her but we were not told til we got there that the dentist who was there did not want to do the appointment. We were told to go to S 1st location and they said they know we were coming. We were on the bridge crossing Lamar when we received a call that the S 1st location couldn't fit us in. We ended up going to the S 1st location regardless and apparently, they told the 34th street location that we had to be there within a certain time. Regardless we ended up getting the appointment after the S 1st location explained what was told to them and vice versa. The 34th street location also misquoted us on the price, but they honored the original price. I also received a bill that was past due that Margarita in billing did not help me understand and then I found out that she was/is the business office manager. The S 1st location once again had to assist me and was confused why she told me to call them if they are all connected. Other than that we still go back but might have to make a switch to the one in Circle C since we now live south. I also feel like the parking lot at this location is just terrible. There is no other words to explain it. Once again there are parking for compact cars, and you will see SUVs in the spots, and you have to park near some dumpsters or possibly in the parking garage next door which I believe is for the hospital.

For example he recommended a $17000 treatment for TMJ when I had no symptoms. My last visit to him was before the pandemic, and he told me I had at least five cavities. I was stunned. I was so intimidated that I left and avoided seeing a dentist for five years. I never received any treatment for the "five cavities". Today, I went and saw a new dentist. She told me I have NO cavities. Zero!!! Is there a logical medical explanation for this? My recommendation is, if he recommends a procedure, get a second opinion. Be very suspicious.
