They didn't put parts back on our cars on two separate occasions. They lost my husband's coolant…read morecap (a $100 product for his make/model car) and never reattached my splash guard (also a new and over $100 product for my make/model car). These parts were discovered to be missing at later service dates. This was working with Danel as the safety head both times. They discovered that they were the ones who last exchanged the coolant on my husband's car. Not only was the coolant cap missing, but he had no coolant in his engine after the previous service and was driving around with no coolant. They realized this huge mistake did not refund him, offer a replacement or discount, and told us to "go to the nearest AutoZone immediately". The part was literally over $100 and they did not have it in stock at 3 separate AutoZones. I came back months later and they had my splash guard...but never called me or told me they had it!? Also, when we called they said the manager would be in the following day and was not when I came to collect my splash guard and get it re attached. Serviceman Mark did not reattach it correctly and it came down on the turnpike and was dragging on the road and we had to rip it off at an emergency stop. These were not two separate egregious mistakes. Horrible customer service. Absolutely DO NOT GO HERE. Would give zero stars if I could.

I called a few days ago because I had purchased a Groupon. I'm assuming it was the owner I talked…read moreto, he was extremely friendly and told me I could come in the morning on Thursday, no appt was necessary. So I went this morning and he was on his way out to an appt. He ran outside and asked if I could come back in an hour as he needed to get to this appt. I said sure and left. He was very apologetic but I get it, life happens and we all have things that pop up. I went back around 12:45 and waited a bit as there was another customer in the bay ahead of me. As soon as the other car was complete I was waived into the bay. I showed him the Groupon and I accidentally purchased the incorrect Groupon for my vehicle (I have a Jetta) oops so he told me he would honor that one and had me pull up Groupon to see what the cost would be if I had purchased the correct one. He just charged me the difference for the one I had purchased and the cost of the one I should've purchased. I know for next time. It's a small business with two bays. I think it's just him and one other employee. He's very nice and I like to support small family businesses. I was in and out pretty quick too. He told me my tires pressure was really low. Explains why my sensor came on. Yes I'm one of those women! Anyway I recommend J's oil change.

Feels weird to be giving an oil change place five stars but after my husband and I were just about…read morewaxing poetic about it the other night I figure I should write a review. We've both been taking our cars here for years and it is such a good feeling to go to a place that is so well managed, cheap, friendly, efficient, etc. They never push you to buy more. They do all the little extras too like WD40 the door hinges, air up the tires, etc. And number one - they are fast. You don't even have to get out of your car. I needed a new air filter so they told me it would be $17 after looking up a replacement just like the one I had. Then ended up they don't make that exact one anymore but it had been in the system. So they gave me one worth twice as much for the same price they had originally told me. There's a couple ladies who are usually there working too so I think that's cool.

This is a terrible place to take your car for an oil change especially if you are an older woman…read morewith limited knowledge of how cars work. I took my car last Thursday to the Take 5 on Broadview Rd, in Broadview Hts Ohio for a simple oil change. The mechanic told me I need coolant added. I said OK because I was trusting and figured he wouldn't take advantage of an olderly women. I am 72 by the way. So, after agreeing to this service at the cost of $145.99 ,I woke up the next morning to find coolant all over my garage floor. I immediately took my car by the Take 5 and after examining my car he said that he had damaged a gasket while putting the coolant in and could not fix and directed me to call corporate after he called his boss. This happened April 23rd So, I did that and was told someone would get back to me in 4-6. What, 4-6 days, totally unacceptable! She said ,nothing else I could do. You mean to tell me that Take 5 has that many claims against them that it would take that long, with no one to talk to about a rental car or anything. In my frustration and research I was able to find out the district manager in charge of my case so I emailed him multiply times I still have heard nothing. Meanwhile my car is sitting in the driveway leaking coolant and I am not supposed to drive it. This the worst company and customer service I have ever come in to contact with. Do not go to any Take 5 Oil's !! I really hope the CEO of Take 5 who I think is this Marc Graham as well as Danny Rivera who owns Driven Brands who owns Take 5 all read this and make some changes. Your guys run a lousy business and should be ashamed of yourself for treating your customers in this way. I should have heard back immediately from someone,at least to acknowledge what your own mechanic admitted to. I see you have over 1,000.00 shops all over the country and the plight of one old lady in Ohio doesn't mean much to your bottom line, but watch out! Words spread on social media!
