This place is under new management. I would have given the original owners five stars. The new owners raised their prices significantly and were continuously trying to "upsell" my daughter while they made her wait inside the hot car. No fun at all. Not recommended. read more

Friendly staff and service. This location also will accept used motor oil for recycling.

I got turned away at 4:45pm. They close at 5pm. I've been coming here for years and even drive from Long Beach to get my oil change. Not a problem - I can just go to the spot closer to my house. Peace out read more

This is a no BS, straight-to-service kind of place! No pressure to buy additional things. I love it! How many times do you go to a dealership and always get upsells and pressure to do this or fix that?! Well not here! I came in for an oil change and was immediately greeted by a friendly technician. He asked me what oil I wanted and proceeded to tell me to wait in the lobby as he will most likely be done in 15-20 minutes. About 10 minutes later, the technician comes back with my air filter and asked if I wanted it changed. I said no and that was that! NOT ONCE did I feel pressured to get them changed. They didn't ask me twice when I refused, which was a nice change and definitely helped eliminate the anxiety of going to get my car serviced. He then came back about 5 minutes later and told me the car was done! He gave me a run down of their 10 point inspection and gave me recommendations for next time. Again, NOT ONCE did he pressure me into doing anything recommended. Then, he rang me up quickly and I was out the door in about 20 minutes! He also said I would get 15% off my next service with them as well and 10% off if I decide to come back for any of the recommendations. Honestly, hands down the BEST experience I have had with any service dealership. I will most definitely come back again and tell everyone I know about it. Come here if you want a hassle free time with exceptional service! read more

Been Reeeeel skeptical of these Express oil changing companies, but this Lube Express blew my mind away. I've been delaying my oil change over 200 miles and it was time... On a Saturday Morning around 10am, I had to find a express oil change shop that wouldn't keep me more than half an hour.. which seemed nearly impossible! Yelped my self around and found the Lube Express and decided to try them since they were only 4 miles away from home. Arrived at the shop feeling skeptical and defensive just in case they try to sell me unwanted sales pitch over services that I didn't need. There were maybe 4 cars ahead of me and the staff member took my car in line. I confirmed with him that I needed the regular basic oil change, which came out to $28 because of my oil tank size (6 quarts) I was told that it would be completed in half an hour, so I waited. And what do you know! Man I was glad that nobody really bothered me or gave me sales pitch to sell unnecessary services! During the time I checked out my car to see if the work was being done, and they were working on it after 10 minutes my car was parked in. Within 25 minutes, I was told my car was ready to go and the oil change was completed. The total came out $28 and I paid with my card to left. I wasn't pressured or asked to consider other services, so I was pleasantly satisfied and happy with their excellent customer service and friendliness. Who doesn't want 30 min oil change?? Now I'm afraid I'm letting all my fellow yelpers know about this shop... haha! but gotta share the good stuff! Happy New years to my fellow yelpers and always be safe! read more

Went for an oil change and they forgot to put the engine cover back on. When I called them on it they had lost it and I never got it back. I went back and looked and behold they never put the filter in. I will never go back. They are a rip off read more

Lube Express - Business - Oil Change Stations Near Me - Buena Park, California

My go to oil change place! Always getting oil on the dot to the recommendation and it has proved faithful! Price: $21.95 for the basic oil change and lasts about two months with the amount of driving I do. A little more frequent than perhaps other oil changes due to quality and also dependent on how much driving you do. Pace: Quick service, typically within 15-20minutes and only 2-3 people in front of you in the afternoons. Service: Always very friendly and accommodating even when they are busy. They really provide a basis for loyalty of customers. Waiting room: Clean, quiet, and many options for inside or outside waiting. There is also a massage chair if you want to purchase a massage while you wait. Drink fridge as well! Recommend: Highly! Convenient location, quick, affordable, clean, and very friendly. read more

This place is visible right on Beach Blvd. Pull up,someone greets you. You are asked what package you would like, and Immediately directs you to the waiting area. In waiting area you are comfortable with a flat screen TV, drink station, and nice cold A/C. Chairs are also located on patio for people watching, lol. On the wall, you see all the packages, and other available services. SO YOU see the package, price, and no hidden fees. I love that! Again, maybe a 20minute wait. All is done professionally and quickly. These guys NEED a tip jar. Honestly, it's not intimidating nor a sales push. Overall great experience every time. I am so glad I found this lil gem. Customer service is from start to finish. Again,I totally recommend. Just an FYI~Pizza Hut and a lil donut shop literally across the way. So its a great way to grab lunch/dinner and take care of your vehicle. I have been taking my two cars here frequently for regular oil change and maintenance and it's been a good run with them because I always get my discount being a frequent or prepared customer but recently one of the team manager that calling the shots there it's giving me a hard time and not really appreciating my business that I've been bringing them. Record show that I brought them including friends and relatives. As a regular Customer, I automatically would get my occasional 15% discount for just to back for another oil change but this time. They asking me if I was able to bring my poster card that they mailed to me which I forgot to bring it to me on time of my services. I don't wanna go here anymore and I would like to tell anyone it's not worth and doesn't appreciate stable business opportunities for being rude to a regular customer like me. read more

This is the 2nd vehicle that I have had the same occurrence with this establishment. I took my 4 runner with a fresh motor there to have a oil change They changed the oil yes but then told me oh it's a leaker it didn't leak before I took it there. So now I took another car that I parked on a concrete driveway and a concrete pad at work every day And never one drop of oil leak Took It's a to get an oil change and just because they said it's a leaker they cover their a** but it wasn't the truth. I sold the 1st car for way less than I paid for the motor to be rebuilt Thinking they didn't do it right now I think it was because this company doesn't know what the h*** they're doing do not take your car here. I was staying in the area and found these guys. I've been alittle stressed after my "Maintenance Required" light went on recently. If your like me, depending on the day you might be like " Doh!" So finally on a Sunday I headed over to Lube Express and I've never had a faster roll out from any other oil change/Maintenance Shop in my life! I was kinda amazed and very satisfied that I didn't have to sit around forever. I would recommend them if you like nice and easy. Thanks guys @ Lube Express! read more

Just as they advertise, it's an express shop where you get in and get out. I was able to get an oil change within 15 minutes of driving up to the driveway. I've been to a few oil and lube places and this one I felt was a good one. They did not pressure me to do any upgrades which I really appreciate for I am the customer and I prefer to choose what I want and can afford. They had a indoor waiting room or an outside one and I just have to say I will be returning for it worked for me! read more

I went in for an oil change and informed them about the engine protector that came off and was hanging. After about 15 minutes, they told me they could not do an oil change because the protector is so damaged (they couldn't drive my car over the bump they had on the floor). I trusted their words and left the place. Driving about 0.1 mile, my car was making screeching sound, and I couldn't drive at all. (By the way, I had driven from LA that morning with no problem.) What happened was that they damaged my engine protector by driving it over the bump even though I warned and asked if it would be okay. Only if they were honest with their mistake, I would've felt fine even though it could've been annoying. I am so appalled at their deception, making me drive with the severly damaged protector. I felt very unsafe driving like that. I hope Lube Express takes this comment seriously and starts providing reliable, transparent, and trustworthy customer service. read more

I put $50 gas in my car at a station around the corner in order to get the free air for a low tire whose sensor sent a red warning signal to my dashboard. But, of course, their self-service air machine was broken, and the helpful attendant directed me to the $2 air at the Chevron down the street. - Pass. But, I drive down Harbor a couple blocks, and there it is: FAST LUBE - Oil Change.... Hmmm, maybe they have an air machine for my tires? Well, not only do they have air, they have the happiest crew in town - I commented how everyone was laughing, joking, smiling... even at 5:15 pm on a HOT, MUGGY AFTERNOON - and was told it's because "We all love working on cars." I mentioned that I am a business owner, and would hire him in a minute, he laughed and said: I'm the manager! And, with that, he personally directed the air pressure as all four tires were filled. And to prove the depth of his love of cars, he described what I was driving with a surgeon's precision, but made it sound like my car was his dream date! Don't know who hires these guys, but you've got an eye for putting together a winning team. read more

Got there 15 minutes before closing and was happy that they took the car right into the work bay instead of turning me away. Did an oil change and tire rotation in about 30 minutes. With Covid raging, I really liked that they had a shaded area outside with chairs distanced apart where I could sit and watch them work on my vehicle. Great service. read more

DO NOT GO BACK TO THIS PLACE! I have been going to this place for years and have always been happy with their price and service. Recently I went in for an oil change just like all the previous times. Three days later my car was shaking when I turned it on and I couldnt drive it anywhere. When we checked my oil, it was LOW and really watered down! Of course we had to change the oil right then and there because I needed the car and it was night time and this place was closed. The next morning I called and spoke to the owner/manager Armando Saldana. He was rude and unhelpful and said he couldnt do anything about it. Didnt even apologize or try to diffuse the situation! Just because youre not having any problems right now doesnt mean u wont. One day theyre gonna half ass ur service and put water in ur oil. And theyre gonna find ways not to blame it on them. My entire family and I have been coming here for the past 10 years whenever we need to get our oil changed for our cars. With each visit, I was never disappointed. The staff is friendly and their prices are very reasonable. I appreciate the fact that they will check if your car may need any other maintenances (like changing your air filter). I also appreciate the fact that they don't try to pressure you to do extra services. Instead, they just give you a heads up about your other problems. read more

Quick oil change for my car. Went with the standard which was $31. Unfortunately the mustang takes an additional quart of oil. I also opted to get my tires rotated which was an additional $15. Total came out to be $51. Quick service friendly people not sure why it doesn't have as many good stars. Total time was about 20 min because there was already a line. Wish they also reiterated exactly what they did and if there were any problems or if i had any questions instead of just charging me and asking if I wanted the receipt. read more
