Wish I could give less than 1 star. I was a new client…read morefirst time ever stepping foot in this office... When I arrived at the office the lady who tried to check me in barley looked at me and when she couldn't find my appointment I noticed she had my date of birth written wrong so I told her the correct number and she said with attitude "I know". I couldn't say her name as she had her name badge on backwards so it was blank. I told her I had been speaking to Angelina on the phone. She went to a back office and one lady poked her head out to stare at me and then another lady walked out with no name badge and no smile. She told me she left me a voicemail to call her back (so I'm assuming this is Angelina) I told her yes I called and left a voicemail. At one point we were talking on the phone and then lost service (I told them we were playing phone tag all week!) She said yea well I canceled your appointment. I was very shocked and asked why she wouldn't have said that on the voicemail. She told me that was a HIPPA violation.... Umm no it's not. That's not medical information but ok. She told me there are no appointments for me today and to come back next week. She said she had to confirm something with my insurance and basically insinuated that my insurance was "low tier". So rude. I asked her if I could sign a waiver for the "HIPAA violation" so she can leave the notification of if she cancels my appointment again since I have to get child care each time to be here. She just said "no". As someone who works in a medical office, the front desk staff is the face of your business so I would HIGHLY recommend that whoever owns this practice look deeper into why your reviews are so bad....

My mother had an appointment with Paula Henderson this afternoon at 2:45. We sat in the exam room…read morefor over an hour before she strolled in at almost 4 but I get it, things happen and some appts take longer than scheduled for. That is not the reason for this review. The reason I'm writing this review is to warn people about Paula Henderson. I have never in my life encountered anyone in the medical field who treats patients with disgust and disdain like Paula Henderson does. She told my 80 year old mother who suffers from severe arthritis in her legs, hips, and both feet and who barely totters around with a cane to "hop up on the exam table". My mom tried. She couldn't do it. I tried to help her and couldn't lift her by myself. I told Henderson my mom is unable to get up there, she is in extreme pain. Henderson's response was well I can't examine her if she's not on the table. Rather than get up off her fat ass and help me help my mom get on the exam table, she said "what you want me to get people in here to help you up? Well, we don't give that kind of service here." And that's a direct quote. By this time my mother was in tears. I can only imagine how helpless and humiliated she must have felt. I was furious. Neither my mother nor I said another word, we just left. So after waiting for months to finally see a doctor, we wasted an entire afternoon, got treated like sheet and my mother still doesn't have any pain relief. Seriously, stay away from this business.

I would definitely recommend Dr Raja's office. I've had several bad experience at other primary…read morecare providers offices, but this practice has proven to be both pleasant and reliable. I've actually never met Dr. Raja himself, I've always seen Krista (Christa?) the nurse practitioner. I met her when I went to the after hours urgent care there and felt right off that she was an advocate and wasn't a closed minded person, she understood the concept in having a patient/doctor partnership, so she welcomed questions and discussions. She's the reason I changed my primary from an office that I loathed having to go to appointments at, and switched to Dr Raja's. I've read a few reviews from people saying the office staff was rude. That may have been true at some point, but it looks like they got rid of those people and the gals who are there now are really down to earth and nice, even when I wasn't cause I wasn't feeling well and had a bad day. No office is going to be perfect, but it's nice to find competent doctors who care and are proactive with my care, and office staff who are professional, kind and helpful. Sometimes getting an appointment is not as quick as I'd like, but that is the case everywhere now. At least I know that he hires enough staff to make processes go smoothly. When I first started going, they weren't really great at getting the referrals out quickly, but I talked to the office manager about it and that got corrected. What else can you ask of your Dr's office than to do a good job, care and be responsive to patient feedback.

Hires those that only graduated from medical school within the last few years…read more Medical student graduate claims they're an "addiction specialist" (seriously), who's a specialist when they only graduated from medical school in 2019)? First.....do no harm. You do not EVER force patients to go cold turkey over pain medications. A senior with massive nerve damage expected my primary care to cover medications (they agreed) while searching for a pain management clinic.....which has not been easy. PM clinics are overrun, overbooked, don't take your insurance and/or have excessive wait times. Line around the block with Lifekind? Seriously?
