I accidentally waited until the busiest season for landscape work, so I quickly found out that I was looking at a wait of at least 3 weeks with the three nurseries I called before I was referred to Meador Nursery. They have a huge selection and were very friendly and knowledgeable when I asked a hundred questions. Also- their price for my medium-sized tree was better than other places I got quotes from- including delivery and planting. Meador Nursery was the only place able to schedule a delivery and planting of the perfect tree at very short notice... and the tree looks great at its new home. Thanks, guys! You saved me. I made several calls to several Landscape companies and also individuals that work in the masonry business and I had 2 people show up and several "No shows" and some just never call back. I was very disappointed that in this area and so near to Dallas that I couldn't find anyone. I then started back up on the internet and came across Green Rhino Landscapes, I seen a reveiw that sparked interest and the gentlemen even left his number (mind you the work had been done a while back) so I picked up the phone and called him. This gentlemen spoke "highly" about the quality of work and the reliability of Ryan and his workers. I then called Ryan and explained my scope of work and he came to the house, looked at the drawings I had and gave me plenty of time to explain what I wanted. Ryan never came across as a wise guy but he did one thing that the other guys didn't do and that was he listened and reviewed my drawings and also gave me some advise as to what would work better for my yard. We exchanged some paperwork and off he went. Within No time I had an estimate emailed to me. Ryan was very patient with me while I made changes to the plan, not once, not twice but three (maybe more) times. He also provided new estimates each time. Once everything was agreed apon, Ryan and his crew were here on the day and time coordinated. The work that was done was 110% above expectation. The stone border was installed properly and every square inch is level. Quality of work was the highest I have ever seen. The job site during the building process was kept clean each day. The materials used were exactually what we wanted, stone selection matched our existing stone on our home. I as the homeowner had input and any questions I had during any part of the job, Ryan took the time to explain in detail. I was never left out of the process. I am a very detailed person and I like to know where my money is being spent, I watched every process and feel that at No time was I over charged for any materials or at No time was the work short changed in any step. This company gave me Quality work, a fair price, Ability to ask questions before, during and after, Confidence in their work and Reliability. Work ethics are high. There constant work performed and no excessive breaks or leaving the job site. I am one HAPPY CUSTOMER and I know you will be as well. They damaged my sprinkler system, they sent an "independent " sprinkler company. The gentleman they sent said to water 5 min twice a day! When watering normally the water would flood the street, that never happened before. The front yard sod is mainly ok but there are areas that are not doing well. The big problem is in my backyard due to the fact that their tiller quit working in the back, so they resorted to shoveling sod which was clay, and did not add any dirt most of my backyard will have to be redone. I've been trying to get this resolved, but have been blocked from one number and completely ignored on the other number I had. I had another company look at the work and they said they didn't put enough djet down. I hope I don't need to have everything redone. I paid $5600 for this! I will be pursuing legal action. This grass was installed in lat April 2026.

He came out the next day, right on time (even texted when he was on the way), and gave us a free estimate. He was clear and detailed about next steps - calling 811, picking out a tree, etc. He was back a few days later, with the tree we picked out, and got to work! He dug out the old tree, planted the new one, cleaned up impeccably, and then gave us instructions on how to keep the new tree healthy. He charged exactly what he quoted, and was so so helpful the whole way through.

We've been in our home for 25 years and throughout that time it made many small changes to our landscaping, following the sun and shade. This was effective for many years. However, following The Great Texas Freeze of 2021, several scorcher summers, and the the removal of several big tree in the last two years, our front yard appeared to a be a post-apocalyptic waste land, a neighborhood eyesore, and far beyond our ability to update and repair ourselves. My wife and I had many ideas but we're not able to transfer our ideas for our yard that would fully meet the look, along with the low environmental impact and minimal maintenance requirements we wanted. In addition to the cosmetic appeal, there were extensive needs for hardscape repair, a redesign and installation for our sprinkler system, and to tackle drainage issues. We were afraid we would need to coordinate efforts and schedules for several different companies to meet this wide variety of needs. However, Grow It Land Designs had the expertise and skill set to provide a one-stop solution and resources to execute this plan to address all of our needs in a manner that wildly exceeded all of our expectations . Skills and knowledge are based expectations for any company you would wish to do business with. Grow It land designs far exceeded all expectations for landscape company, or any organization you would trust to take care of your home. Communication and responses to questions were detailed and timely. All members of the Grow It Land Design team were extremely professional, courteous, and very respectful of our needs. I bought the largest spider plant with so many shoots coming out of it that made it look gorgeous, for a very good price. I also bought a healthy and beautiful rosemary plant that I've been using for cooking & hair treatments and it still keeps giving. Can't wait to visit this's garden center again.
