I just visited two times and waiting for the result. I can't say it is good or not? I hope Doctor may make my eyes looking sharp and better.

The people are very caring and professional BUT expect the appointment to take a long time. There's always a lot of waiting.

They are supposed to call you to confirm your appointment and you are supposed to press 1 to confirm but if you are not there and your answering machine answers the call apparently it counts as a confirmation and when you do not show up they charge you $35.00. Try to tell them they have a poor system and hear nothing but excuses. In other words you are always wrong and they never are. read more

I've been a patient of Dr Lewickyj for several years. He's done three procedures on my eyes, all of which have not turned out correctly. He charged me for doing under eye puffiness $1500. The procedure did not turn out right. In fact, one eye is different than the other one? I can provide before and after photos. He said he would redo them this year, but my eyes are so red and itchy that I couldn't take a chance. I asked him a refund. He has not responded. The last procedure, which was upper eyelid procedure. That also has failed. My eyes are as bad if not worse than before he did the procedure. read more

Much more than an optometrist and eye glasses shop, LTF has a depth of vision professionals and staff to deal with ad treat any vision related situation, even on an urgent basis which was the case for my most recent visit. I will continue going to LTF for all my vision needs. read more

Office lady (maybe Linda? Can't remember) in the glasses center is one of the rudest people I've ever met. Self righteous, know-it-all, who is usually incorrect and was proven wrong on several occasions during my office experience for my daughter's contacts. From her incorrect assumptions on my insurance to her not knowing what the doctor had prescribed, she rudely told me her hands were tied. Offered No apologies after being rudely incorrect and thankfully for the intervention of another employee (Kelly), I was finally able to be assisted. I'll be looking for another provider for my daughter. read more

My recent visit to LTF in Crown Point was absolutely pain free. The entire staff was friendly and efficient, all the way from check-in through picking out my new glasses. Dr. Schilling listened to my concerns, and prescribed mediction that is already healing my itchy eyes. She was great. Highly recommend. read more

If you want to sit in the waiting room for 2 plus hours for every appointment then this is the place for you! I have never felt so insignificant as a patient in my life. I got lasik surgery 4 weeks ago and there is still blood in both my eyes. Do not go here unless you want to be discriminated on. I came here for a eye exam with a Dr. Richard Ireland. This is regarding Covid-19 and how he discriminated me on it. I wore my mask and I am very respectful to others with it. I was in my exam room still wearing it and when he comes in he's says you don't have to wear that mask if you've been vaccinated, he asked have you been vaccinated? I said no. He then starts discriminating me over it. He said all his reasons why I should get it and I am the reason why it's still going on. He continues with his preach and I asked this man 3 times to stop and to just please check my eyes, as why I am their. I said I have no problem wearing it while we do this exam and he still would not stop instigating things. I told him this is over, I need a new doctor to exam me. I asked him many times and he wouldn't stop. Very unprofessional for a eye doctor. As we walked to the front desk he again would not stop discriminating me. I had to embarrass this man in-front of the whole office after this. I said with emphasis slightly shouting to get his attention, I've respected you even when you did not to me. Stop harassing me, this is not right and your are being very unprofessional. Finally shut him up and I'm glad, this coward is not a good person and it shows based off how he treats his patients and his opinions. Do not goto LTF eye clinic in Valparaiso,IN.. unless you like being harassed on your expense. I'll update more clear photo when I find on my phone. Also you will have to make another paid appointment just to pick up your glasses from them. They will hold them hostage unless you pay for another visit, even when you've already purchased the glasses. There's a lot better doctors out there and places. The OPTICAL CENTER is horrible. The service is terrible they sit at their desk and act busy and make you wait. They are rude! Placed my order and didn't receive after two weeks called and asked about the order and they blamed the manufacturer and placed another order. Received my order in the mail today after week and half and it was wrong. I wanted a year supply of the left contact and they ordered 6 month supply for both then blamed manufacturer again. How did the manufacturer get the prescription for the right eye? Dah they screwed up and still won't admit it. read more

I had a pretty bad experience today with the receptionists at this clinic. As soon as I walked in, the receptionist demanded I put a mask on my 15 month old child. Even though the CDC states that children under 2 shouldn't wear a mask. After a very rude discussion with said receptionist about the mask, I did attempt to put the very large mask on him, but he kept ripping the mask off (as 15 month olds are prone to do). After my paperwork, I sat in the lobby with a bunch of children (older than 2) who were not wearing masks and not being told to wear masks. Not sure what makes my small child need a mask but not other kids. To be honest, I was really upset that I was treated so poorly within a minute of walking in the door. I wouldn't recommend this clinic to anyone and will be asking my pediatrician for a referral to a different clinic for future appointments. read more

While the providers are fine, I have yet to be seen on time or even close to on time by one of the ophthalmologists. The optometrists seem to run on time. Seems to be a chronic problem at these clinics. Need to hire more ophthalmologists (actually a MD). If the office is running 2 hours behind (not exacerbating) the front office should be proactive and call patients to warn them. read more

The doctor was great. However, we had to wait over an hour to be called. I arrived at 135 for a 220 appointment. I checked in and was told to have a seat. I already printed my new patient paperwork for my daughter and had it in hand filled out. Lady at the desk asked me to hold onto it. So I did. It started to get busy and seeing as I already signed in I thought I was good to go. But around 210 I asked another receptionist if they needed my daughters insurance and my ID. She replied "she didnt get that from you already?". I said nope I was early and told to have a seat. I handed over my ID and insurance card. Didn't get called back until around 320-330. Needless to say we were out of that doctor's office at 4 pm! Longest appointment I have attended. I tried to be patient as I knew I was early but was checked in only to have my file lost on the desk and never truly "checked in". I was #3 on the sign in clip board. Not sure if the front desk needs help or it was just an off day. Kind of scared for my daughters follow up appointment in 6 months. read more

I've been going there for 10 years and I'm done. Put a fork in me I'm done. The waiting time in the waiting areas is way to long. They overbook appointments. I had cataract surgery and a year later the lens dislodged and I had another lens inserted and stitched in place almost a year later one of the stitches broke and was very very painful. I called the office and was told to use clear eye drops for a couple of days to call back. I did. Went in. Dr saw broken stitch and removed . Told me if I had waited two more days I would have list that eye ! So I'm done found a new ophthalmologist!! read more

First time at this clinic; was quite impressed with how spacious and clean the office was. It was easy to get an appointment and when I arrived, I had to complete new client paperwork but then was seen within 15-20 minutes. No long wait at all. Munster office not very organized or helpful. Took 2hrs for my appointment and not even sure which insurance they used (I have 2 plans), waiting area over crowded and some staff not so friendly. Also found out later by friends they should have given me a filter to put behind my driving glasses, when I was telling them that I had a hard time driving back home. Was recommend by my primary care doctor, but prefer my local family owned establishment. read more

I've been coming to these Drs for a long time. But no more. The wait times to be seen is awful! It's gotten much worse than it used to be ! Just plan on a half a day to complete a visit here. It's always some excuse. Last visit they screwed up my appointment. My card said one day their appointment book said the next day. And she had the nerve to blame me. Told me to come back tomorrow.... I had the appointment card to prove it. The Dr also told them to tell me he was too busy. Come back tomorrow! There are so many reasons why I finally decided to find another eye Dr to go to. I actually left after 2 hours since I was waiting for scheduler/nurse and had headache from not eating. The scheduler did call me later in day. Saw several people in rooms waiting for doctor at the same time as I was waiting. No explanation given for long wait. I assume they overbook resulting in a poor experience for patients. read more

I recommend Felton eye clinic. Exam is thorough. Dr. Jack takes the time to thoroughly examine the health of my eyes and determine the best contact prescription. The appointments are long but I've gotten use to it. I wouldn't trust anyone else. read more
