    I am beyond broke by living in this unit. Energy costs are ridiculous because airflow is off, ventilation is improper, and my dryer causes the thermostat to climb because hot air leaks. They had tech come out for ac. Was told dirty ducts , wrong unit size, and ducts severely dirty . The vents don't point down with lever. During heat, the coolest I can achieve is 85-90 I can never reach the temp set. The unit works better on Gan setting than on cool. I did pge energy assessment, and weatherization is needed for me to save money. My ability to live here fairly and affordably is severely compromised. And had to have been known by the realtor. Ar time of lease sign I was told oh it works... you can check, but we have to finish walk thru My health is possibly compromised by whatever I breathe from ducts. They have known for 3 yrs. My comfort and ability to live here fairly has never been helped with reasonable accommodations.. Small gardening in the backyard that their landscaping has done in the past Request for weatherization costnsaving measures denied Request for front screen door (other owned units have)for proper ventilation /cool bc of not working cool ac DENIED I also have approved portable hose ac so I can't open window . These other requests I have are all fair and reasonable due to improper AC and not upkeeping. Other requests such as horrible filthy duct etc ignored. These are all fairly reasonable requests due to improper working ac, which they don't maintain properly. They tell me it's normal not to set a degree at the desired temp ..and that 90 is what they set theirs at.. I can't set to normal 78-80, and this is normal They treat me like an idiot who knows nothing THEY _SPECIFICALLY CHRYSTLE HANSEN PROPERTY MANAGER SAW (2) NEW RENTERS THAT HAVE 0 EXPERIENCE IN THESE MATTERS AND CLEARLY TOOK ADVANTAGE..LIED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS (REGARDING STATUS OF AC/ backyard upkeep.) AC : I WAS TOLD IT WORKED..AND THAT I COULD CHECK IF I WANTED BUT SHE DIDN'T HAVE TIME Because she had to finish walk thru & had another appointment..(have recording) Prior resident confirms ac AC has never "worked" WE FELT RUSHED IN SIGNING THIS LEASE SHE KNOWS WE ARE DISABLED AND HAVE LITTLE RESOURCES YARD WAS DELIVERED UNKEMPT WITH HUGE TREE AND ROOTS THA I DONT HAVE STRENGTH TO PULL...ALSO UNREASONABLE . * My roommate cries at night. can't sleep, so hot even with fans... her mood and mental status are all compromised. She is disabled mentally and physically. I asked for a ceiling fan (also reasonable) because of unreasonable unworking AC. I was told to buy a $12 fan at Home Depot. And that rhe ceiling only supports where there is a light fixture. She has one, and so do other rooms that also have a fan. I believe this is false.

Sherry was cold and unfriendly the entire time. I expressed that my wife and I's credit was not great since the economy collapsed, I have a guarantor as well as first and last months rent plus deposit, and we make 3 times the monthly. But they don't accept guarantors or extra down?? How do you expect to ever find a tenant?? No wonder your rent list is stagnant for months on end. Not worth paying and waiting a week just to call and be told we weren't worth being informed that we were denied.

Nikki and her crew, year in and year out, have Always been professional and "caring". We're not certain why someone else might say different but, I'm willing to wager that it's because of that persons' own undoing. (that's where the "professional" comes in) Having been a Four Seasons renter, for almost 20 years now, as life will sometimes smack you, we have needed assistance and understanding, in order to make it through a rough spot in time. When that happened, EVERY SINGLE person within the Four Seasons family, has been accessible and willing to assist. (and that's, the "caring") NEVER a pressured atmosphere, Four Seasons has treated my family like . . . . well, family.

I wish I had read Joyce D's and Brian S's reviews of this company before signing a contract with them. All around bad experience and I would not recommend this place. We used them for one year. We terminated our contract with him after the tenants moved out (for a number of reasons) and he became overly passive aggressive in all of his communications. He comes off as nice and competent when you first meet him, but shows his true colors when you terminate your contract. Once he realizes he's not going to get money from you, he starts insulting your property. He tried to threaten us by saying we would be arrested if we entered the property after the tenants had already moved out and surrendered the keys (but had still paid to the end of the month). He tried to get us to pay him prorated rent just to pick up the keys and garage remotes, which the tenants had already dropped off to him (since they had already vacated the premises). You would think a licensed real estate professional would know that you would only have to refund if you started collecting additional rent, but I guess not. We just ignored him and changed the locks at that point. There was a lot of damage to the property that was not addressed, like bent blinds, damaged laminate flooring and water damage around the heater they replaced. When they replaced the water heater, they did not properly replace the pan on the bottom, so we had to drain it and reset it. We ended up spending around $4000 to get the place back into rentable condition. I have deleted all my past reviews on Yelp and usually don't like to hurt anyone's business, but I found Steve to be so petty and annoying after we canceled our contract with him that I can't resist. To get an idea of what it's like dealing with him, go read his response to my Google review. It speaks for itself. This was originally a two-star review, but I think one-star is more accurate when taking into consideration his retaliatory response and thinly veiled threat to go to court (because he doesn't like to have a bad review lol).

Per the Tehachapi police department they visited our property more than 100 times from 2019 thru January 2022. we also discovered the tenant was subleasing our rental to others along with many other lease violations. Mr Rhodes relies on vendors he sends for repairs to report on your property. What do vendors know about the terms of a lease agreement? Per the police department our tenant died from a narcotic/drug overdose. This company says they're registered with the police department but claim they knew nothing about any of the police visits or the filth and destruction inside. We went to court and received a judgement against this company not as much as we asked for but we did get a judgement which they paid. Beware Mr Rhodes said annual inspections were not required yet the agreement with the tenant said he would be doing biannual inspections.

    This review is long overdue but is for Lanetta Ashmore who sold us our house. Lanetta was awesome!…read more She let us do something no real estate agent would want to put up with, low ball offers. It was a great time to buy. Everyone was foreclosing on their homes. REO's were at an all time high. We went through probably 10 different offers. None of them were accepted because it was a real estate frenzy with investors and almost every offer we made had at least 5 or more offers on the table. Luckily we found the most ugliest, smelliest house that no investor wanted and snatched it up right away. Lanetta was so very patient with us. She also jumped through hoops to make sure our loan funded because we needed to prove it was a "livable" home, which it so wasn't. She also recommended a contractor to do the renovations. He was quite good and inexpensive. Thanks Lanetta, you rock!

She provided us with a list of new listings almost every day so we knew the moment a new house came on the market. She helped us through multiple offers when the first offer didn't work out for us. She was there through very step of the process with us. She recommended the perfect lender (Tammy Engel), pest control, contractors, inspectors, hair stylists, a car dealer (Ashmore Motors) since we were going to need a 4 wheel drive for the mountains and all the other services some one new to the area would need. She knows every thing about real estate and the Tehachapi area. Lanetta made the move into our new home PAINLESS. If we sell in the future or buy another home, she is the real estate agent we will use.
