Lorena is the best agent around and has helped us with three home transactions in the past decade, the most recent purchase being a tough purchase from a sell by owner. This owner thought they could easily sell their home for $150k over appraisal and did not know how to do any of the paperwork. Lorena was kind enough to endure doing extra work and this lady's verbal abuse because she knew how much we loved the home. When I say this lady was the seller from hell, that is not an exaggeration. She was irate and badgering the whole time. Screaming like she was a three-year-old not getting her way. She gave us disclosures with other addresses crossed out on them because that's how inexperienced and ghetto she was. However, Lorena made it happen, and has gone over and beyond to make this an enjoyable experience despite what she had to endure from this demon owner/seller. This is why you need a real estate agent as good as her to sell and buy!!! read more

Our experience working with Lorena Semerenko as the buyer's agent was extremely disappointing. Throughout the transaction, we found her communication to be unprofessional, dismissive, and at times condescending. During negotiations, it was our understanding that Lorena had verbally agreed to reduce her commission in exchange for us completing several minor repairs and agreeing to a lower sale price. Based on that understanding, we completed the requested repairs and proceeded with the reduced price. However, just days before closing, after the repairs had been completed, she changed her position and was no longer willing to honor the commission reduction we understood had been agreed upon. An extension was subsequently requested, while she continued to refuse any reduction in her compensation despite the concessions we had already made to keep the transaction moving forward. We understand that real estate negotiations involve disagreements and that agents have the right to negotiate their compensation. Our concern was with how the situation was handled and communicated. In our experience, the communication lacked the professionalism, consistency, and cooperation we would expect during such a significant transaction. Based on our experience, we would not choose to work with Lorena Semerenko again. read more

Lorena Semerenko refuses to return my overpayment rent of $1500. She stated that she never received the cashier check that I placed in her mailbox at her office, because there is nobody ever at that office. Then she asked me to Zelle her an additional $1500 and I did, but she deposited the cashier check and never returned the additional $1500. I have been very patient. This happened in August 2024. I sent her copies from the bank showing the deposited cashier check and the Zelle payment. read more

As I stated in google as well, My Husband and I were looking for a house for a while and Lorena is our agent. We gave up for a while & when we were going through the loss of my father she actually contacted us with the perfect house. We are so grateful. It's perfect for our family. She was very sympathetic, and informative of the process & was with us every step of the way & even after we closed she's been there if we need anything. We did have some issues with the seller upon closing unfortunately, they had left the house a dirty & mess along with the property. Didn't give us our keys on time so Lorena went out of her way to help us by getting a locksmith & having the house deep cleaned and property cleaned. It took so much stress off of us. I don't know any other agent that would go above and beyond for their customers like her and her team. We are very happy with how she treated us and the process, we recommend anyone looking for a home or interested in starting to contact her. read more

Burgundy Clark was a lifesaver during our latest relocation. She helped us navigate the market/area and kept us well-informed throughout the buying process. Her professional recommendations for everything from home inspectors to home insurance brokers were invaluable. Even though I was not physically present with my husband during house-hunting, I never felt "left out". We had an inspection hiccup during the escrow process on our initial offer house, and Burgundy was on the ball helping us sort that out and writing up a new offer on a second house in no time. We have now been Tehachapi residents for almost three months and can't recommend Burgundy & The Semerenko Team enough! read more

Buying and selling with Lorena was an absolute joy. From her first text to us; "I'll be at your house within an hour", to our final walk-through, we knew that she had our backs the whole time. The most remarkable thing was that Lorena was both buyer's and seller's agent on our purchase and the grace and poise with which she handled negotiations while seeking the best interest of both sets of clients was truly mind blowing! We are so blessed to have worked with Lorena and will gladly recommend her to any of our friends! read more

Lorena put in a lot of time and effort for me with many things. Working with her I was able to buy a new house, put my old house on the market, and renovate both. She was very patient with me through the home selling process. None of this is in my wheelhouse so it was an incredible asset to have Lorena there for me. Any time I had a question or needed some information she responded immediately. She's an impressive individual and I'm grateful for her. read more

Can't thank Lorena and her team enough! My family was being forced out by a horrible landlord that was selling the home out from under us and really put us in a predicament. A coworker (who is also a local realtor) referred me to Lorena Semerenko for help buying a house in Tehachapi. After attempting to work with a random realtor from Zillow a few months back, I wasn't looking forward to trying another one. As a first time home buyer, Lorena made the process as stress-free as possible. She was always quick to answer questions and on top of everything during escrow. The home inspector she recommended was honest, thorough, and exceeded all my expectations. I will not hesitate to recommend her to anyone I know who needs a realtor in the area. read more

Wow, where to begin when reviewing The Semerenko Team? The level of professionalism exceeds the competition by leaps and bounds. I contacted Tobias and Lorena Semerenko to sell my house and to purchase a new house. The Semerenko's had my house professionally cleaned, beautifully staged, and had professional photos taken that looked magnificent! Once listed, my house had more views than any other house on the market. In just days, I had an accepted offer on my house and they were also able to get my offer accepted on the house I was purchasing. I've dealt with numerous agents throughout my years and none of them even come close to Tobias and Lorena. They were both far more knowledgeable than anyone I have ever used and their level of expertise cannot get any better. Giving them 5 stars doesn't even begin to say how excellent this experience has been. If you're using, or thinking about using another agent you need to think twice immediately and contact the Semerenkos. Selling your house and buying a new house can be a very stressful time but Tobias and Lorena made the process smooth, quick, and worry-free. I will without a doubt use them again when I purchase my next home. read more
