I can't say enough great things about this experienced totally professional realtor with also with innate feeling for your case and always with total communication. After I dealt with some iffy people, even with some crooks in the area, she was a blessing, totally competent, one of the few top professionals in the area with success-oriented business expertise to give you the final outcome you need for a good close also. Beth Tona of Coldwell Banker Realty in Tehachapi, handles Kern county in the area, and especially is military-minded also. Thank-you Beth for an excellent realty job! Carol Kaye

I lived at the Orchard Apartments for 4 years. We just moved out into a house, but I would like to…read moreleave a little note here to tell everyone how it went. First off, I got my deposit back in full. There were damages I pointed out, which they could have charged me for I believe but they did not. The manager was extremely kind and friendly whenever I spoke to her. And I should note that the general owner of the three apartment properties is also very kind who I first met when I lived out at the Cherry Lane apartments in 2006. When I lived out there, I also received my deposit back in full and they were very fair. If you need maintenance done all you have to do is ask. Your place will get maintained and they won't complain and they are very professional about it. The orchard apartments allows you to park right in front of your apartment which are all one story. And there is covered parking specific for your place and uncovered parking for additional cars. I loved just jumping out of my car and going inside as if I was living in a house. The place is spacious in my opinion with a nice fenced backyard which you can do whatever you want with. You will have a smaller kitchen than you might like though depending on what you prefer. But it worked for my wife and I. You just need an extra table to do all your cutting and things like that if you use a big microwave to take up counter space..which we did. The prices are reasonable because the place is super safe and family friendly. They have security roll through there regularly. You see kids playing and its just nice. The landscaping is very impressive and you can pick peaches off some of the trees during the summer. They are delicious. We never really took advantage of the pool or the grills, but we saw many people do so. I suppose it was great. The laundry facility is coded so you don't have random people going in there. Most machines are working but admittedly it can get annoying having to cough up quarters all the time to do your laundry. Anyways, if you are looking to move into a place just before you get a house and you don't mind being a bit close to the railroad tracks (but not too close and it is muffled by the other apartment between The Orchard and the railroad tracks), then this is the place. Right off the 58 entrance so easy to get to Edwards AFB or Bakersfield. Good luck in your apartment search!

For example, when maintenance was painting the building they cut down our door decoration, threw it in the flowerbed, and spray painted over it. When we brought it up to management, she laughed and refused to do anything about it. Their were many other things, this is just what happened today. Do yourself a favor, learn from my mistake and look somewhere else.

Lorena is the best agent around and has helped us with three home transactions in the past decade,…read morethe most recent purchase being a tough purchase from a sell by owner. This owner thought they could easily sell their home for $150k over appraisal and did not know how to do any of the paperwork. Lorena was kind enough to endure doing extra work and this lady's verbal abuse because she knew how much we loved the home. When I say this lady was the seller from hell, that is not an exaggeration. She was irate and badgering the whole time. Screaming like she was a three-year-old not getting her way. She gave us disclosures with other addresses crossed out on them because that's how inexperienced and ghetto she was. However, Lorena made it happen, and has gone over and beyond to make this an enjoyable experience despite what she had to endure from this demon owner/seller. This is why you need a real estate agent as good as her to sell and buy!!!

Our experience working with Lorena Semerenko as the buyer's agent was extremely disappointing…read more Throughout the transaction, we found her communication to be unprofessional, dismissive, and at times condescending. During negotiations, it was our understanding that Lorena had verbally agreed to reduce her commission in exchange for us completing several minor repairs and agreeing to a lower sale price. Based on that understanding, we completed the requested repairs and proceeded with the reduced price. However, just days before closing, after the repairs had been completed, she changed her position and was no longer willing to honor the commission reduction we understood had been agreed upon. An extension was subsequently requested, while she continued to refuse any reduction in her compensation despite the concessions we had already made to keep the transaction moving forward. We understand that real estate negotiations involve disagreements and that agents have the right to negotiate their compensation. Our concern was with how the situation was handled and communicated. In our experience, the communication lacked the professionalism, consistency, and cooperation we would expect during such a significant transaction. Based on our experience, we would not choose to work with Lorena Semerenko again.

Beautiful. We went back this past week and was surprised at the way everything still looked. While we were out walking we were greeted by the manager with a smile and hello. I said to my mother in law how nice to see friendly people here and she informed me that was the manager and she is very nice. I was shocked as anytime my mother in law needed anything she always told me the manager went above and beyond for her. I would like the manager and maintenance guy to know that my husband and I appreciate you and knowing that until we are able to make the move there ourselves that we appreciate you giving my mother in law a VERY nice place to live and feel safe at. Thank you both. I would also like to add that I hope that an apartment is available when we are able to make our move.
