I brought my daughter here to get her hair and nails done before taking her to a concert and what a day to pass by! Mr. Larry and his staff were hosting a holiday party for the disabled. We walked in and saw superman, batman, Elmo, Elsa, Santa Claus and Marines in uniform all handing out toys to disabled children and adults alike. Even my daughter left with a photo and gift from Santa! They were also providing them with free haircuts, hairstyling and taking care of their nails. There were music, bagels, pastries, juices, coffee and all kinds of treats. Everyone was taking photos, dancing and having a great time. Just seeing the generosity of the staff of LP salon was enough for them to keep me as a customer for years to come. It's so refreshing to see such compassion in this cold world we live in. Alicia did fishtail braids for my daughter and they looked wonderful. Such a great staff, you really feel like family when here. read more

I'd give -5 stars if I could. Donna ruined my hair. I wanted my ombré (which was done at another salon) to be brought up higher & be left with a natural "rooty" blonde look. I would've been happier if she just told me she couldn't do it. However, I ended up leaving really happy because I was there for 6 hours & it was dramatically different, new haircut included. But it wasn't until the very next day that I saw what she had done to me. I knew something was off when she had to keep turning off the faucet to pick my hair out of the drain so she could continue washing the bleach out of my hair. In short, half of my hair fell out of my head. She had no regards for my hair or the condition she left it in. She didn't even tell me. She had me faced away from the mirror when she was drying my hair, most likely so I wouldn't see what she had done. Also, the "natural" root she gave me was horrific & looked like straight up brush strokes. It was so blotchy too. The pictures speak for themselves. Embarrassing. The only good thing I have to say about them: I went back after a couple of days & pointed everything out. They gave me a hair mask for free & did an Olaplex treatment, for free of course... Donna said she'd be happy to fix it with more bleach in a month, which now looking back, sounds insane because my hair physically wouldn't be able to stand more bleach & would've left me with even less hair. Scary to think she would've been ok with bleaching my hair again. So I ended up calling a couple of weeks later & asked for my money back. It wasn't a problem at all, the owner (can't remember his name right now) was extremely apologetic & very understanding. However, I have not heard anything from Donna. In response to what the owner said - a discussion of what my hair had been through previously did not take place. Donna asked me 0 questions. I asssumed she knew what she was doing & would use Olaplex on my hair to protect it. Bright blonde hair is possible when you know what you're doing & use the right products. She used 40 volume on my hair & left it on for about 3 hours. I don't know much about hair, but I do know that's not acceptable. read more

My first visit to a salon where the people and their vibes made me feel like a part of their family. Every single person was easy to speak to, and I'm very antisocial so I was surprised at how much I was talking. I had quite a lot done so I got to meet several people. Renee bleached my hair with this God-sent bleach so your hair is as least damaged as possible. Next Maria shampooed my hair, and helped Renee color it. Then Brad had all this info about YouTube and the Beatles, I didn't even realize my haircut was done! He did this random crazy but awesome style on the side of my head so we kept talking. OLGA!! Where have you been all my life?! I went to LP & Company after I met Olga at a Crossfit class, she had the most amazing hair color! Really great experience! We brought my daughter here for her very first haircut and the staff were so warm and inviting. From the moment we walked we were greated with such love and understanding. I'd written a review on a keratin process I got at LP months ago, and just found it never posted. But I'm now through my third treatment this year and need to post again... because the results have consistently been a miracle! My first visit to LP was back in January. My hair is a medium length bob, fine and frizzy/curly. I was told Brad was the man to see. Brad explained the process, the few keratin products they use, and why he felt the Lasio would be best for my hair and needs. And just like that, my hair life changed. I used to wash and blow my hair every day, only to see it frizz by late afternoon. In rainy or humid weather it was worse, of course. I wore wigs to events, weddings and such, knowing my hair would never stay smooth through a day. History! I now wash my hair about twice a week, blow it quick and easy, and it stays for days! No more wigs, no more worries. This summer was as hot and humid as any, and still my hair stayed under control... for days at a time! I'm hooked! There are two colorists and both are terrific. Renee is a masterful colorist who makes you look completely natural but better. I went in to get a color correction service and had a young woman named marina.Now Ive had different experiences with different salons but I learned what a good color correction is and the follow-up.First of all I was quoted $100 for said service but was then charged $140.Thankfully I only ended up paying the 100 because it definitely wasnt worth 140.First,she kept me there 4 hours because she had no idea how to achieve the color I wanted from the color I had and then to make it better she dried my hair from bleaching it 3 times.If you have to get color correction or go for a more than 2 shade difference then dont go here.Its overpriced and they dont do as good a job as other places. read more
