Every other plumber that came to look at it said they'd need to cut into the stucco and it was going to cost me $500+ or more to fix it. Some bozo even quoted me 1k to repair it. A bent out door hose bib -1k repair? When Kane arrived he realized the damage wasnt that bad, cut off the bent part, soldered an extension on it and soldered a new bib within 15 mins. Even knocked the price down to adjust for time and labor. How is it that out of the 4 previous plumbers i had look at the same spigot they all quoted me 500+ dollars and an absolute need to cut into a stucco to repair the same pipe Kane fixed in 15 mins? I had to call to find out what was going on. The office manager told me that they would not be coming that day to finish because they had scheduled another job for that day and that was taking priority. The earliest they could reschedule was another two days out. We never agreed to any change in schedule.Totally unacceptable! After the technician returned to finish, there was a small change in the scope of work that increased the price by around 10%. We agreed this was OK. We told the technician to have the invoice for the additional work emailed and we would pay it ASAP. We had already paid the original estimate for the whole job. The very next day we got a phone call from the office manager asking if we had received the invoice and had paid it. I replied we had not received it, send it again and we would pay it. The next day we get another phone call asking again about the invoice receipt and asking for payment. We replied we had received the invoice and it was scheduled to be paid by check immediately by our accounting dept. We were then told that this was not acceptable and that we were expected to pay upon demand. Considering the unprofessional treatment we had already experienced in having the job delayed, to be harrased for payment is absurd. We will never use this company again!
