I went on the internet and saw Mcgraw Contruction. Their site showed several pictures that is similar to what I wanted done on my patio. I called and talked to Jessie. He requested if he can come and see the proposed project, get the right measurements and check what materials/machine needed to complete the job. He came Thursday afternoon at 3PM, checkout the patio, measured the area, did some computations, made few calls to get pricing for the materials/machine needed and within 20 minutes gave me a very reasonable quote on the spot. Since I want it done right away, he tried to work with my schedule and have my cement extension done the following Monday. I was at work when they came to my backyard on Monday, but Jessie and his co-worker, Lupe work tirelessly to complete the job on time. Jessie took pictures of the step by step development of their work since, as questions and make comments if I'm not satisfied. He sent pictures using his phone and text it to me while they are working on it, placing of the Rebar, the picture of the cement truck on my driveway and pouring on the cement, and picture of Lupe is trying to even out the cement. They came at 12:00NN and finished it at 4:00PM. I was able to meet them at 3PM and saw Lupe and Jessie finishing it when a broom. They left the backyard spotless because they clean up all their mess including our mess. May patio looks fantastic, and my family is happy with the result. A job well done! Thank you Jessie and Lupe. He offered his opinion but deferred to our preferences and worked to find ways to make our project less expensive. In fact, even though we ended up ordering new cabinets for the desk rather than re-using existing cabinets (because it looked much better) and he did some additional work, the job came in less than he estimated - the first time we've ever had that happen! John was great at keeping us updated on when materials would arrive and allow him to start, and accurate with his estimates. He worked around our schedule and cleaned up at the end of every evening, always making sure that things were safe for our three-year-old and pets. He did several extra small things at the end, such as rewiring some switches in the hall for us, and did them at no charge. John worked very quickly and his work is fantastic - very high quality. You can't even tell that the project was a remodel; it looks like it was always here - which is exactly what we wanted. I can't recommend him highly enough. We will definitely be using him again!
