I normally don't write reviews but the team at Loyalty Plumbing did really well. They called the day before Costco was going to deliver a new dishwasher to make sure the installation would go smoothly including asking if there were any stairs to get in the house, whether an air gap was present or not, and to make sure there was an electrical outlet for the dishwasher. They scheduled the time frame of the job to occur shortly after the delivery window by Costco and also assured me that the technicians would haul away the old dishwasher. The technicians called me when they were on the way and arrived on time. They were both professional and described what they were going to do. After the installation of the new dishwasher, they explained how the air gap works better than the existing high-loop drain hose I had. They ran the dishwasher to check for leaks, cleaned up, removed the old dishwasher and hauled it away. I'm a DIY'r and would normally do this work myself but since installation was included with Costco delivery, I was able to do other things during the install. I really appreciate your teams professionalism and communication. Mahalo Loyalty Plumbing!!!! read more

Loyalty Plumbing was assigned by Costco to perform what was advertised as a FREE dishwasher installation with my new Bosch dishwasher. My previous dishwasher had been installed and operating without issue for over 10 years using an existing high-loop drain. Before doing any work, the installer insisted I needed an air gap and demanded an additional $360 to complete the installation. I respectfully asked whether this was actually required by Hawaii plumbing code or simply their company policy. I explained that Hawaii's plumbing amendments allow a properly installed high loop in many situations and asked if they could show me the specific code requiring an air gap for my installation. Instead of answering my questions professionally, the installer's attitude changed immediately. He became rude, argumentative, and ultimately walked off the job without completing the installation. I have video of the entire interaction. As a customer, I wasn't refusing legitimate code requirements. I was simply asking for an explanation before agreeing to an unexpected $360 charge on what Costco advertised as a free installation. This experience felt like an attempt to upsell unnecessary work rather than provide the service I had already paid for through Costco. Customers deserve honesty, professionalism, and respectful communication--not pressure tactics and an abandoned installation. I expected much better from a contractor representing Costco. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend Loyalty Plumbing. read more

We had a leak in our washer/dryer area, and since we had a great experience with Loyalty Plumbing when they installed our water heater, I didn't hesitate to contact them again. When Pono came out, he was very professional and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, upon his inspection it appears that the leak isn't coming from our pipes, but possibly from the neighboring unit or underground. Even so, the visit was extremely helpful. We now know it's safe to use our washer and we have clear next steps toward resolving the issue. It's great to know there are local companies like Loyalty Plumbing that operate with integrity. read more

I had Tyler and Hailama from Loyalty Plumbing come to install a new dishwasher and an air gap. It was perfect. Showed up right on time and did an excellent job. Friendly and professional. My property manager ordered a new dishwasher from Costco. Loyalty Plumbing is the hired company to do the installation. Before installation the scheduler shared that I may need and air gap if we don't have one. I spoke with my property manager and they agreed to it. When the team arrived the removed the dishwasher and found mold behind on the panel. They stopped and said "we can't install until repaired" I said "ok..." Also, they saw that I had an old air gap installed. They advised to install a new one I said "ok". They did not provide an estimated cost at that time. They left. We fixed the mold situation and scheduled and new day and time which was 8/27/26. The installers came and looked at the air gap and said "We need to change that ... It's old." I said "ok... How much? ... I need to let my PM know..." He said "Around $380 and we need to collect the money today..." I said "I'll call the PM..." The tech was very demanding and said "Yeah, If you don't want to install a new air gap, then I'm not installing... because it's old.." I made contact with my PM and he was able to provide a CC over the phone to the tech. I did not appreciate the tech be very demanding about collecting payment. They did not provide an estimate the first time the came out. If my PM wasn't available, then I would have kicked this company out of my condo. I would then find another company and pay for installation. Loyalty Plumbing got paid from Costco for installation and $380 for the "up sale". Don't always believe "Free" I'll be calling Costco.... read more

A couple of highlights about the installation service of a dishwasher by Loyalty Plumbing through Costco. The communication was excellent. They informed me of when plumbers would arrive and exactly what they would do. Communication was more than once, and when I called, they answered the phone immediately. The two plumbers came. Tyler was one who meticulously installed the dishwasher making sure of connections and positioning adjustments. It was not rushed. The other was Lionel who removed the new dishwasher from all the packaging to make it ready to install. Costco chose an excellent company to do installations. read more

Ugh - 3rd party installer for Costco. After a few missteps with scheduling (Costco error), Lily was awesome. She was able to redirect a team with a cxl in town to install a day earlier. Whew! Professional team who went to work quickly to install the dishwasher. The both installers were courteous and respectful. So grateful that they could get the job done today. Otherwise, there would be a big box in our small kitchen for another day. Appreciated Lily's patienceeven when she has to deal with an upset customer (me). Thank you! Would def consider for future plumbing issues. read more

I bought a dishwasher from costco and the delivery and installation included. Loyalty plumbing was contracted to do the install and they arrived in a timely manner. Tyler and Sage did the installation and had to install an air gap on my sink that was required along with the standard installation and there was an additonal charge of 140 dollars which was reasonable for the air gap. Tyler and Sage did an excellent job with the installation and clean up and deserve this review. Loyalty Plumbing thank you aloha. read more

Had a dishwasher installed, contracted through Costco. Dishwasher did not work the next day, breaker kept on tripping and replaced my breaker thinking it was faulty but it kept on tripping, pulled the dishwasher out and noticed power line was burnt near the rear of the dishwasher. Called them to have a look and they refused to take any responsibility saying that a rat might have chewed on the wire even though I have no pest problems or evidence of wire being chewed. They replaced a working dishwasher that had no prior issues. Would not recommend their service to anyone...Costco needs to remove them from their list of installers. read more

We purchased a new dishwasher through Costco, and Loyalty Plumbing is Costco's installer. We had several telephone contacts with Loyalty's office, making sure that we were going to be available for our appointment, and letting us know when their crew was on the way to our home. It was a two person crew. Both the young men were polite, conscientious, and efficient. They worked hard to get the dishwasher in place and set up properly, double checking their work along the way. They swept and cleaned up before leaving. Their work was excellent, and the whole Costco appliance purchase experience went far better than I imagined. If this crew was a good example of Loyalty Plumbing's service, I wouldn't hesitate to use them for other work. read more

BUYER BEWARE: DISHONEST or INCOMPETENT (you decide, either is unacceptable) This company was recommended to me to fix a small leak that I had in my condo, since a lot of people in the complex have used them. The very small leak (into the unit below) only happened when the shower was running, so it was assumed that it was related to the drain pipe. I am a very competent DIY guy ... but this appeared to need to be serviced from the unit below so I agreed to have Loyalty Plumbing come and take a look. When I asked them how much they charge, I was told that their hourly rate was $150, which is fair, but "if the job is 'complicated', they will provide a quote". They were supposed to call me when they were on their way so I could notify my tenant and the people from the unit downstairs.... That didn't happen. My tenant texted me at 1:13 PM that they had just arrived. At 1:20 my tenant texted me that they had already left. (Yes they were on site for a total of 7 minutes). Shortly after that I got a phone call saying that the leak wasn't the drainpipe at all, but was the shower valve and it would cost me $1500 to replace. It was assumed that this was an emergency and would be immediately approved. Now I know how long it really takes to change a shower valve, 2 to 4 hours for a competent person (I've done it a few times) and less for a skilled professional who routinely does this for work. I thought the price they quoted me was outrageous and right away called and got two more estimates to change a shower mixing valve those came in at $600 to $700. Still the leaking valve story didn't sit well with me since I had just serviced the valves replaceable parts less than 6 months ago. I had someone else check it out. It took a total of 3 minutes (remove the trim ring around the handle and inspect the valve while it's running) to determine that the valve wasn't leaking at all (it was very dry) but it was easy to see that there was a small weeping leak (slow drip from higher up) at the shower head wall pipe. This was a 15 minute fix including eliminating the valve as the source of the leak. Literally the shower head needed to be turned 180°! They could have spent an extra 5 minutes to find the problem and billed me for the hour at $150 and I would have been happy. They would have billed their full hour of time on a 15-20 minute job. Instead they went for the kill and quoted me a rate that would have covered 8 hours of labor and all the parts. Had I approved the $1500 repair it would not have fixed the leak. Would they have found the actual source of the leak and tightened it? Maybe. Would they have been honest about it? Based on my experience... I doubt it. Do yourself a favor and hire a plumber whose "Loyalty" is to something other than enriching their own bank account by fleecing consumers that they think don't know any better. If you feel that you must use them, make sure to get a second opinion... you just might save yourself $1400 like I did. read more

still can't believe that only 1 in 10 dishwasher installations have roaches/eggs. not in hawaii, and especially since when house was being built, we placed roach baits/boric acid in the double walls before they were closed. after we moved in, we constantly monitored any roach or ant sighting and placed roach baits close by. we always have some available as we hate these pests! "transparency"? i was only notified that you wouldn't haul the appliance AFTER it was removed, and before the replacement was installed. i understand your policy to not transfer insects to customer homes, but could YOU not honor the haul away after all deliveries and installations were completed for the day? then "bomb" your truck (with tool bags inside) if you suspect "infestation"? i have conveyed to costco my dissatisfaction with this surprise policy. i doubt there will be a "next experience", at least for me." read more

Great customer service. Had our dishwasher installed by them. Everyone is knowledgeable and friendly. Would highly recommend!

We had scheduled service three weeks in advance and gave full instructions on where to park, how to get into our building etc. After calling to confirm the morning of install we were told everything was all set. The plumber called at 1219 to ask about parking ( we had already gone over all of this with Lenny), then at 115 they said they were not coming because they did not want to park in front of our building - we were supposed to park our own car (which we do not have) in an empty spot to save for them. After going round and round about this and stressing that parking is right in front of the building and also behind it, we were told the plumbers did not want to walk far (it is less than 2 minute walk) and they went to another job. The phone operator hung up on us twice. Worst customer service ever. Lenny was especially rude. @@To add to my review - to reply to the comments from the company. First of all, the building is NOT the Ilikai hotel, it is the Condominiums, a total and separate building and entity. Second, the building was fine with the parking out front as other contractors do EVERY day. Third, it's funny how you spin that I was swearing at Lilly when I wasn't. She HUNG UP ON ME AS I WAS TRYING TO SPEAK. , and I had to call back. Spinning the problem so the customer looks bad is very bad customer service and a form of desperation. We have NO intention of ever using your services in the future so scolding us or trying to taint our review is fruitless. We actually obtained a 5 star plumber who was happy for our business and is installing the item as we speak. Judging by your recent reviews you have a lot of work to do as far as customer service goes. read more

If i could do a negative review i would. Deceptive business practice. Purchased a Costco stove with their delivery and install option. There is no option for crediting the install as I would have used a plumber I work with professionally. I even let the Loyalty Plumbing coordinator know that. My wife received the stove by the delivery company and Loyalty Plumbing was scheduled to come later on. They started doing work and a few hours in my wife asks if everything is ok. They told her it they assumed it was natural gas not propane and they had to convert it, not once mentioning any additional cost. My wife informed me it is taking longer than normal which I told her If they can't do it then tell them no need. I'll have the plumber I work with do it. I guess they finished and as they were putting tools away and cleaning up the bigger guy says oh there maybe a charge since it was more work. The smaller guy also comes in and said oh I should have let you know that there was going to be a charge. BS. Deceptive practices. Should have a change order time and materials form signed off by the client if there was a charge. Definitely will send this post to BBB as well as Costco.com. read more

Awful over-the-phone experience and they haven't even showed up yet. So... these folks are contracted through Costco (the epitome of 5-star customer service) to do the install portion (included in the price along with delivery, per Costco) of my dishwasher order. I have ordered a washer, dryer, and bed through Costco, and at no time have I been asked to pay an additional installation fee. "Loyalty" Plumbing has the audacity to tell me I need to pay an additional fee of $35 to have this installed. They go on to say that an "Air Gap" is required to be installed per code and that the cost is $350 for the work, period. Currently on the phone with Costco to see whether I can choose a different provider as this is not at all what I signed up for. Next-day update: Costco will reimburse $150 for installation charges incurred with another provider. I probably called ~8 plumbers and only got 3 responses. One is priced even more egregiously, the other was comparable (air gap portion was quoted at $250), and a third ("Dan Does Plumbing") answered immediately and sounded awesome (and was less than $200 all in for install and haul away), but he asked me to contract with someone separately to drill a hole in the countertop (to accommodate the air gap). Fortunately, we got another word-of-mouth recommendation and won't need to work with Loyalty Plumbing -- combination of horrible over-the-phone experience and attempt to take advantage of a captive customer = unacceptable. read more

Just when you hope you have found a reliable contractor.... About a year ago, I called Harry, from Loyalty Plumbing, to replace and move my main water shutoff. A guy showed up, and after evaluating what needed to be done, ran to the store, came back, performed the work, and done. No issues, no complaints. Was not the cheapest, but gave a price I could live with. Last week, on Friday, I was given an appt between 12-4 for another main water replacement, at a different property. The day prior they called to remind me about the appt, so I was assured that I'd be good for Friday. At 135pm, I called to confirm, just so that if there was an issue, I would not be sitting around waiting, only to find out at 4pm that there was an issue. I was told, at 135, that my assigned plumber was in town and wrapping up and that we were "on track" for my window of 12-4. At 355 I called the office and it was then that I was told they were on the freeway, on their way...... At 430 the actual assigned plumbers called and reported that they had to go the shop and had no idea that they had a window for service between 12-4. They claimed to be 20 minutes away......They arrived at 435 and were done by 515. Friendly, efficient, and got the job done. I went back this week to check to see if there were any leaks, which there were not. Annoyed that they were late. Annoyed that I was not given a courtesy call or notice. Annoyed that there was a disconnect between what was scheduled and what was delivered. Had I been called or told at 135pm WHEN I CALLED: "Sorry, it looks like we will have to re-schedule" I could live with that. I can work with that, but not letting the whole day go wasted with nothing but a: "Sorry, they will be there when they can." But, I was not called. It is insulting to be given a reminder call the day prior about the appt only to be stood up the following day. I was left sitting there after waiting 4 hours wondering: "How good of a job will actually be done at 5pm on a Friday......" Fortunately, the folks performing the work are not the ones scheduling it. I'm finding more and more that businesses are overbooking, or overcommitting and expecting customers to accept it. At least airlines give upgrades or accommodations. I don't need to reschedule, I needed the service when planned and agreed upon and made time out of my schedule based on your availability. Hold up your end. read more

Loyalty Plumbing installed my new dishwasher 31 July. They were prompt careful, clean and came ahead of the agreed time! :)

I try my best to leave positive reviews and avoid negative reviews on YELP because I understand the sensitivity in operating a small business. However, after Abby said she was the owner of the company then spoke unprofessionally, talking over me, taking no accountability or having a growth mindset to listen to the concerns of her clientele I have to make an exception. This company is hired by Costco to install appliances (which is advertised as "included install" from their website) however, they purposely do not give you a proper notice you have to do so much to prepare for their visit (or they will charge you exorbitant fees such as $360 for air gap drill and $140 each for air gap hook up). The installers said almost every home they go to is not ready so clearly they know they are profiting from not properly preparing customers for the install in advance when scheduling the appointment. After asking her for empathy and understanding as a single mother being charged $350 for an air gap Abby immediately got defensive and said, "I'm not going to point fingers or argue with you". All I wanted was empathy and an open mind to consider properly preparing their installs in advance but it was clear they didn't need the feedback because they design their business model to make last minute money off the people they work with. Really disappointing. read more

So apparently, it is really hard to find a plumber who comes in emergencies. We called around for 2 days and only Loyalty Plumbing called us back. We were able to schedule a diagnostic look at our sink. It was leaking, they let us know what parts we needed. These goes were busy, but squeezed in sometime to get our sink done, fix our pipes, change out our sink and put in a new in sinkerator. Service: Mostly great! There was a little mix up about parts the plumber assigned was supposed to have, but luckily he was prepared with majority of the parts except 1.My husband went to grab it while he fixed the other repairs. We expected all the parts to be there, since they talked about what would be provided prior. Luckily my husband was able to run and get it. It's the only reason I am giving them a 4 star. Overall though Both days, the plumbers were awesome, down to earth and they knew their stuff. I give it to the plumber on the second visit who was prepared for anything! If he didn't have majority of the parts needed, we would have had to wait longer. Price: Reasonable price to get the repairs done and quickly too. I'd totally call them again (well since they are the only company answering, we will definitely be call only them...still waiting for call backs from the other businesses too.) Overall, our sink is better than ever! They completely fixed our leak and upgraded our pipes! Glad they were able to help us with our leaking sink and broken insinkerator. read more

I don't like writing bad reviews, but when a company tries to rip me off, I have to draw the line. I read the company's bio and they mentioned their character is a top priority. I would like to give them the benefit that they're since most of their reviews are positive and Lowe's says they haven't had any complaints against them. Here is mine, and I'll post this same negative review for Lowe's. I had to replace a 2 year old KitchenAid Microwave in a 2 year old home. I decided to go with the upgraded convection model since it was the same model, just with convection. The measurements are identical except, the new model is an 1/8 of an inch wider. Lowe's policy is to send out installers prior to installation to make sure it fits. Lowe's contracts Loyalty Plumbing, they come out do do measurements and immediately they say it may not fit. I tell them it should since measurements are identical. They say it has to do with the cord not being in the same spot. I say no, manufacturers don't make different chassis in the same model. They tell me I only have 7 inches and the new cord may be in a spot that is wider. I say I doubt that, but we'll see when the new Microwave comes in. They agreed and left. Two months goes by Microwave arrives and they call to setup installation. The morning of the installation Lowe's calls and says Loyalty Plumbing says it won't fit so Lowe's can't do the installation since it requires more work to do the installation. Lowe's tells me I can hire Loyalty Plumbing for the bigger job. I tell them no way it doesn't fit, again they give me the cord excuse about it not being able to fit my vent needs to be altered. I say BS, go measure the cord, it will fit. We go back and forth, he finally sees my point and says he will send them out to see if it will fit. 2 hours go by and no installers, I call Lowe's to see what's up. The lady calls them and they tell her they won't do it because it won't fit needs modifications. Now I'm very upset for wasting my day. I go down to Lowe's make them bring out the Microwave to measure the cord. It is identical as I have sad a hundred times. The manager is confused because he has never had complaints against them. He still believes them, but I told him according to KitchenAid it will fit since it's the same model. We agree to send someone else out to measure again. I explain to the new installers that I measured and spoke to KitchenAid and it should fit. He ask did they come out to try the installation, I tell him no, and he looks surprised that they would not even try to install. We setup an installation day which was today. The pics tell the rest of the story. He was done in less than 30 minutes, he had to add an extra brace that comes with it because it is 20 lbs heavier. He tells me this was the easiest Microwave installation he has had since they were identical Microwaves. This was my experience with Loyalty Plumbing. You decide if you want to use this company, I say stay away. I can only think because I live in a nice neighborhood they felt the need to try and make some money. To me that speaks volumes about character, not a company's bio. Actions Speak Louder Than Words! read more

They are contracted through Lowe's to install and deliver appliances. They gave a 30 minute pre arrival call, carried out the old stove, installed the new stove and left without saying anything. They also left behind the rubbish from unveiling the new stove in my drive way and didn't alert anyone that they were done. Until I looked out the window and saw them in their van. My 3 star rating is based on their lack of communication and not taking their rubbish with them. So so sad because my husband works for commercial plumbing and residential and hotel service and maintenance is part of their job, and he was disappointed to see all the rubbish left behind for the homeowner to clean. read more

As good as it gets, folks!! It's hard enough to get someone to come Leeward but it was NO challenge/problem for Loyalty and Harry. He came out last week to assess the two leaks and we scheduled for this week for the fix. He and his partner weren't in the house 1/2 hour and had BOTH fixed! He thoroughly explained the problem with our waterlines on the first visit and again explained in detail his fix for them. It's sadly a rarity here to find someone who not only can show up on time, FIX and EXPLAIN. Have no doubts....Loyalty! (recommended by our realtor btw...the first plumber I called was a 5 star on here but didn't know jack squat of what he was doing as he WALKED ON my new granite counters, said I had to pull cabinets off the wall (not) and left a horrific mess then charged us $280 for generally nothing) read more

My toilet started making a weird hissing sound. But I still gave these folks a call, since the last time I used them they were great at what they did. I called right before the winter break and they had to schedule me for today (December 30). Made it a two week wait, but not a big deal - the toilet still worked. Benny swung by and took a look at why my toilet was hissing. I showed him how if I put the toilet water valve at full blast it would hiss when I flush it, and at first he suspected the flush valve may have had issues, but we had that replaced only a couple of years ago. He then took a look at the toilet supply line and associated valve, said the supply line going up to the toilet was fine (albeit corroded) but the valve looked like it was screwed up. It made creaking noises when we tried to turn it. He suspected the valve was bad and it was causing an obstruction that kept the water from flowing properly into the toilet. He said he will try to replace the valve and see if that solves the issue. To replace the valve, he has to shut off water to my unit, but next is the caveat. Here's a warning to those of you who live in apartments that are old - if there's a gate valve to shut off/on the water for your unit (gate valves have a handle that looks more like a octagon) Loyalty Plumbing are very hesitant to touch those because they're worried about it breaking and being held liable. They weren't like this before, but I can understand it. Benny instead had to use the building shutoff valve. Luckily no one was home so I wasn't too worried. After he shut the water off, he went to work on the line. Just had to do a simple cut, remove the old valve, remove the old supply line and connect a new valve and supply line. The new valve is a ball valve that should last years. Whole thing took about 20 minutes. Benny even showed me how to replace the O-Rings on my kitchen sink because the sink was starting to leak. Looks a lot more simple than I thought and he saved me money by showing me how I can do it myself in under 15 minutes. Pretty much the same service, but see below for some changes. My last review was from a few years ago, some things have changed since my last review. 1) Their per-hour labor charge is $100, it used to be $80 in 2015. 2) They don't do Saturday calls anymore, those are reserved for emergencies and I believe installations. They're starting to become much bigger with a bigger staff. They seem to take on more jobs, and their contract with Lowes and Sears probably keeps them really busy since they have to install tons of stuff like water heaters and toilets. This makes them a little tougher to get when it comes to availability, but it's still the same great service.
