When they heard that I was a walk in, they didn't hesitate to let me know the wait time and to pick a pedicure color. 10 mins. And for good reason. No less than 20 appointments walked in at open. Toni took me on. He was wonderful. Polite and chatted with me about the area. Patrons were also sweet and inviting. This was an inviting and sweet group of people. I'm just visiting the area. Very good nail techs. Each one that has done my nails and pedicure, have talked me through any issues that they see. I was seen at the appointed time with a very very small wait time. Process was relaxing and completion time was as expected. Not to mention they are right beside Food Lion so afterwards I was able to scoot next door to grab a few groceries on my way home! after searching for years I finally found a nail salon I love! david does my nails he is very good and pays a lot of attention to details. all nail techs do an amazing job! I have had several techs give me pedis at were very relaxing. yen has also done my nails and pedicure and did a great job. Overall my experience wasn't bad. This nail salon is another chop shop which I wasn't expecting. I had Tracy do my nails and overall she did I good job I asked for the color change and French tips unlike the picture I showed her. Her nail art was very good but I was not a fan of the shape she gave me, I wanted a rounder shape. She also didn't do any cuticle prep. I payed 72$, including tip for my nails. They charged 15$ dollars for the nail design and 5$ more for the shape, which I thought was silly. Overall not a bad experience and one of the better chop shops I have been to. If I wasn't too shy and said something about the shape I think my nails would be perfect. read more

They never fail! Extremely welcoming, friendly, and talented! Took their time with my nails and did exactly how I wanted to look and I've had so many compliments on them. Prices are more than reasonable - paid $60 plus my tip. They are smart with their time and respectful of appointment times which I appreciate. However, you need to make an appointment if you want to be sure they are able to take you in. Tracy did my nails and they have lasted well so far (~2 weeks) so I'll definitely be returning to her. Went in around 1:15 on a Monday afternoon without an appt & they were able to take me right back for a pedicure. The pedicure lasted a little over an hour & was hands down the best pedicure i've ever gotten. I chose the sugar pedicure which was $45 + $15 for gel polish. read more

I hate having to wait or go to salons that try and start your service only to be interrupted by the multiple people who come in and in fear of loosing them they go ahead and start. This was my first visit to this nail salon and I will definitely come back. I happened upon it because it was open on Sunday before 12 noon. Although I did not have an appointment, I only had to wait about 5 min. The salon was very clean and neat and had two TV's. I had a pedicure and a gel manicure and was in and out in 1 hour 15 minutes. It is located in the Food Lion shopping Center across from Riverwood. Came here three times for acrylic fill. they cut them shorter(didn't tell me $4 to do that) fixed one (another $4 to fix) and I have white tips with gel top coat (again didn't say $5 more for just gel top coat, not even polished) an $18 fill in quickly kept adding up. Then the girl walked away from the table for 8 minutes on the phone (so rude). She filed the drill so deep into my natural nail they're now pink and bruised and dented. THEN I came back two days later because one nail snapped right in half because she filed the middle so thin (the shape of these is just awful). The acrylic she used is see through and you can see all the prior fill in marks, they look terrible. I'd rather drive 30 mins back to raleigh and spend more than to come back here again. read more

I visited about a handful of times to get my eyebrows waxed. Suddenly out of nowhere, I noticed a lot of facial hair on my cheeks (most likely due to prenatal vitamins I started taking). May 19, 2019 I went to loyalty nails to get my eyebrows and now cheeks waxed. Two days later, I had a HORRIBLE reaction and broke out, either from the wax or whatever cooling cream they use after waxing. I went back to the shop to let them know as well as get a manicure, spoke with Alex and she literally could not care less. Her response was "that's just acne and no one else has ever complained." I'm 35 yo and not even as a teenager, have I EVER had acne! I found it to be quite offensive that she would blame me and my skin as opposed to accountability or acknowledgement of the issue in the first place. To add insult to injury, another customer walks in and they practically roll out the red carpet for her. I asked the customer "you must frequent here huh? Because the way they greeted you compared to me is astonishingly different; Alex barely even spoke to me the entire time I was here - I didn't even realized she was finished my manicure, she literally just walked away and sat to work one someone else." She responded "Yes, I have been coming here for years, they just have to get to know you." - oh okay, because no matter if I have been coming for the first time, or 5 years, I should be treated the same as her - my money is green just like hers!.... My daughters and I had a wonderful experience here today. It was a our first time at this salon and we will be back! I have younger children and the techs that worked on them were extremely nice and they did wonderful work. The gentleman that worked on me was also fantastic. I messed my toe up getting out of the chair (my own fault) and he completely re-did the toe without complaint, extra charge or side-eye. It was also slightly less expensive than the other salons we have been patronizing. It is a bit more of a drive for us, but well worth it! read more

First time at this salon and I don't think I will be back. When I walked in, it was pretty empty but I felt like I was putting them out for making them get up. After selecting my color, I sat down for a full set and gel polish. The technician was pretty decent at first, but started to get more clumsy with the grinder and was really hurting the sides of my nail beds. He shaped and polished them nicely, but there was no lotion or massage or anything other than the very bare bones. I was then charged $45 which is $10 more than their website states. When I got home I hat to peel glue out from under my nails because the tech was in a hurry to be done and didn't clean up my nails. I called this morning to ask what the price for a basic full set and gel, and she wouldn't tell me the price, just wanted to know if I wanted to book an appointment. When I said no and told her what happened, she said that the website glitched and they couldn't change the price on it. read more

Went to this place for an acrylic fill and when I walked in, the guy and one of the women who work there were sitting on the couch and looked at me like I had 3 heads when I told them I was there for a fill (even though I had an appointment). The guy there, who I assume is the owner, did my fill. He did an awful job. I asked him to clean up my cuticles and he didn't do them, and the acrylic that he applied near my cuticle was chipping after 2 days. He did gel polish for me and put it on so thick that it started PEELING that same night. He also didn't tell me that he was charging an extra $10 for the gel polish, but that's not uncommon so I don't really have a beef with that. He was just rude and callous and I wasn't happy that the gel was coming off after 4 hours. In case anyone is wondering why I paid if I was unhappy, there are two reasons: 1.) that person's time is just as valuable as mine and I don't believe in free services unless I leave there missing a finger; and 2.) I didn't have too much of an issue until things started going wrong that night. I wasn't about to go back and have my nails fixed there, since I hadn't been all that impressed in the first place. It was worth the drive to the other place I went (see my other review). Maybe Loyalty would be ok for a pedi or a quickie polish change, but I'm not sure if it's worth the risk. Prices were great, but it hardly seems worth it to save a couple of bucks if you need to have them fixed somewhere else ("the poor man always pays twice"). In all fairness, I didn't have any services done by the two girls who work there, so my experience could have been a fluke. However, because there is the chance of having the guy do my nails again, and the fact that the place wasn't clean, I won't be back. :( read more

HORRIBLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!! STRIKE 1!!! Had an appointment scheduled for 9am this morning. I got there on time but shop was closed and no one in sight. I drove back home and called 10 mins later and Tony answered the phone. I told him I was there on time and asked him where was he. The only thing he replied was "I'm sorry I overslept". Pathetic excuse for a place of business and highly unprofessional given I had a scheduled appointment at 9am. Being the person I am I gave them a second chance and drove back up there to get a fill in, pedicure, and eyebrows done. STRIKE 2!! I asked if there were any type of compensation for the inconvenience and none was offered. Was told the owner said it can't be done. Which is bad bad CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I'm a business owner as well and I know the value of keeping repeated customers happy!! Obviously they don't care about people who spend good money. STRIKE 3!! I GET HOME AND REALIZED THE POLISH ON MY TWO BIG TOES WAS WRINKLY LOOKING AS IF I HAD VEINS IN MY TOE NAILS. I drove back up a 3rd time and had to wait 30 mins just to get them fixed after being asked by Alex's replacement tech to leave and come back because Tony was busy with another customer. I told her I wasn't leaving because I didn't want to come back for the FOURTH TIME!! I ALSO TOLD HER IF IT WAS DONE RIGHT THE FIRST TIME I WOULDN'T HAVE TO BE THERE AT ALL. This salon is under new management! I've lived in Riverwood for 2 years and never went there when it was under old management. Well, I saw the new management sign on Feb. 28 and took a chance and went in. Wow! I'm so happy I did. This place is awesome. Customer service is super and everyone is really nice. I got a excellent gel mani. You get FREE paraffin with gel manis. The salon is also supper clean and owned and run by a family. I ABSOLUTELY intend to make this my new spot.
